I’m 51 and I’m with you.
This is my first PlayStation having always had x box and Nintendo and I think it’s fantastic.
I can’t compare against the PS4 and 3 era like others are doing obviously but I couldn’t be happier with the system, controller and games.

Especially the full race weekends with qualifying.
My only gripe with GT7 (having come from x box) is always starting at the back and playing catch up.
Hopefully this fixes that for me.

Cracking game. Took a chance and am now level 35.
Solos is where it’s at. Some friendly. Some not.
The Arc are rough cookies and it’s fantastic.
Can’t wait for the new map and updates

9.5 from me. Can’t stop playing.
Gunplay is superb. World they’ve created is beautiful and deadly.
It’s got the just one more raid about it and before you know it you’ve been sat there several hours.

There’s an awful lot of excitement for the game on Reddit from what I’ve seen.

@Th3solution very nice that you could keep both.
I don’t buy stacks of games in all honesty and this outer worlds doesn’t appeal to me at all.
All the games I’ve got (bar 20777) have been upgraded for the pro and I’m really happy with my decision.
I’m absolutely no doubt GTA6 will also utilise it as you said.
I also saw there was a major update coming in 2026 which sounds exciting.
I completely understand why people wouldn’t be interested in the pro (I dismissed it when it was announced) but now I own one I don’t regret my decision one bit.

So many naive comments on here saying how useless the pro is.
Let me tell you it’s really not.
I bought mine a week ago and love it.
Pretty much every game I own now looks and runs better (substantially in some cases) and yes I know this isn’t a case for everyone to get one but for me it is.

I want to play my games looking their best and playing their best and I’m not a PC guy.

One thing I would say is that if you don’t have a 4K 120hz tv you’re not gonna get the best out of the console.

I’m very happy with my purchase and have sold my ps5 and series X (which I never turned on) to cover most of the cost.

If you’re on the fence and have the right tv go for it.

Played about an hour so far.
I foresee losing a whole chunk of time to this game.
What a blast the multiplayer is.

I’m deep into act 2 cut have hit a wall atm.
There’s the room in high halls with 9 waves of enemies that’s just too difficult for me. Gutted as I love the game and wanna see what the rest of the game has to offer.
I won’t give up but I need a break too.

I’m completely stuck on the last Judge. Tried her so many times. Have gotten her to stage 3 multiple times but never finished her off.

I’m not great at these and don’t for a minute think I’ll finish it but really hope to get to act 2.

This seems to be the lowest score
I’ve seen. Most are giving it 9’s or 10’s.
Push Square always seems to score on the lower side.

It’s a good game and initially had me invested but it’s just way too easy for me and I lost interest.
I’m not a particularly great gamer either.
I wish they’d add a hard mode and I’d dive back in.

Just picked up my copy today.
Excited to see how it is as really enjoyed the demo.

As already mentioned it’s why I sold my PSVR2
after 6 months of ownership.
The support for it is not there and this would have annoyed me further tbh.

I absolutely loved the first Overwatch but they have ruined the second game and I just don’t care for it I’m afraid.

Just tried downloading Alan Wake which I just purchased for £8 on the store and it won’t download. UK

I was hoping it would get awards. It’s superb.
I’ve never played a game like this in my 30 years of gaming and although I don’t get everything and have to look up what things mean etc I’m so glad I stuck with it.
Level 4 and not scratched the surface of the first Act yet but wow.
I’m going to lose hundreds of hours to this beauty of a game.

Never really enjoyed this as I wanted to but I’m gonna update the game and start a fresh character as this sounds like they’ve done some great work on it.

The only game on that list that has me curious is Star Wars outlaws.
That’s ok though. I’ve such a massive backlog between my series X, PS5, Switch and Steam deck I’ve more than enough to get on with.

Starfield. Level 16 now and the more I play the better it gets.
Not without its fault but I’d definitely give it an 8.5 - 9 so far.

I bought it as it grabbed my interest but I’ve zero experience playing a game like this.
I put it on for about 30 mins. Think I’ve made a big mistake tbh. No idea what I’m doing etc.
Thought the first level would teach the basics like most games.
I’m busy with Starfield atm but I’m going to get to this at some point and will most likely need a guide to get going.

Bought a Steam Deck two weeks back.
My PS5 and Series X haven’t been turned on since.
Highly recommended to anyone thinking about it.
AAA games on the go and an absolute emulation beast.

Working through my first ever play through of Bloodborne. Superb game and I absolutely can see what the fuss is about.

Rogue legacy 2 has its claws into me again. Struggling to beat the last level(or what I think is the last level).
Great game

Despite having gamed for 30 years now I’ve never played and have zero interest in this franchise.
I’m glad people are excited and looking forward to getting stuck in.
Me? I’m just happy that I don’t have to spend even more money atm after TOTK and SF6 (which I’ve also gone a bought a fight stick for)

Likewise and the last Street Fighter I played was 2 on the SNES!
It’s superb and completely stopped me playing TOTK.

This game is superb.
I haven’t played a SF game since 2 on the SNES but I’m having a blast learning and when I get enough courage I’ll take my character online to get annihilated!

Bought it 2 weeks after release after much deliberation.
Thought it was really cool for the first 2-3 weeks.
Haven’t touched it since.
Don’t know why. Just prefer relaxing when playing games not standing up jumping around (or whatever) after a long days work
I’ll give it a few months but if there’s no astrobot or Aleyx announced by October/ November I’ll most likely sell it tbh.

I thought it was extremely poor personally.
What I’m most disappointed about is the lack of first party games and what appears to be limited support for the PSVR2.
I’m in the verge of selling mine tbh. The novelty has worn off and I just don’t use it.
I was hoping to see some of the VR future support from Sony tonight…….oh well.

This article is extremely premature.
I’ve bought the PSVR2 (my first VR experience) and it’s great fun.
Do I want to play it after a hard days work? No
I’d rather relax and game on the sofa.
But with for someone with no VR experience it’s got a great game base to start off with.
We can’t expect everything to be announced right now.
Give it time and if by Xmas we’re in the same position then maybe start to worry.
I think they'll be announcements in the summer games shows personally or state of plays
