Yes I have Series X as well as PS5.
Forza Horizon 4 has been polished and upgraded and looks and plays superbly well. (4K 60)
The current benchmark for racers tbh.
Same with Gears of War 5.

It’s a 7 from me too!

But harsh tbh.
I’d give it a 7. It’s fun but undoubtedly shallow and limited.
Hopefully they’ll support it well over the coming months, years and it’ll be a cracker!

It’s fun....I’ve seen comments saying a racing mode would be good too with this game and gotta say that would be a real blast.
I hope they consider that over the next year or so.

Matchmaking has been fine apart from the mode where the floor falls away. Whatever it’s called.
I get stuck in a lobby saying 16/16 but it never goes to game and there’s no way of leaving unless you start arcade mode.
Shame as I like that mode too but it’s a palaver

Having a blast with this game.
Don’t know why....I suck and haven’t won a game yet! Lol

Only played destruction all stars so far for a few games. Seems a laugh. Nice fluid gameplay. Nice graphics. If they support it then this may become the PS5 rocket league or fall guys.

If you didn’t like the gameplay of the first one then I’d suggest you won’t like the second as it’s much the same. Just a different location (Washington instead of NYC) and there’s more variety in weaponry and enemies.
Overall though the complaint was its the Division 1.5 and it just felt the same.

Yes I am. I haven’t played any of them. Horizon zero dawn next. Then Ratchet and Clank. Then maybe bloodbourne. There’s so many!
Got to say having been an x box man since the beginning I’m loving the ps5 and the free games it offers too.
I’m lucky enough to have a series x too and it’s hardly been turned on!

Great news. I’m currently playing through it for the first time having purchased a PS5 and always had an x box only up to this generation.
Looking forward to the update

Division 1 was better for me.
Used to absolutely love the Dark zone with a couple of friends.
Personally didn’t think the second one had quite the same atmosphere and just seemed to lose something.
That said I’ll likely jump back in for a bit and I hope to see a next gen Division 3 at some point.

Looks fun. Looking forward to downloading it on launch day. How long it will keep my interest I guess is down to them and how fresh they keep it feeling over the coming months.

Got one launch day but from a nice enough guy on e bay. Paid £550 (I was happy to pay the extra £100 as knew I wouldn’t get one for absolutely ages).
Don’t regret it for a second and thoroughly looking forward to all the games coming out for it this year.

Only ever owned x box so I’m loving the PS Plus games. Just started on God of War which around 5 - 7 hours in I’m really enjoying it.
Then when I’m finished that there’s 20 other PS4 games to enjoy.

This is the first time I’ve ever owned a PlayStation.
Always had x box but couldn’t miss out on demon souls which is amazing.
I’ve used the game help feature on the bosses multiple times rather than look up on the internet.
I’ve found it very helpful tbh.

I would guess I’m
Around 70% through my first play through.
I would say the first 5 - 10 hours is the hardest.
After that you can farm places to level up and make the game easier.

I understand where you are coming from mate but I would say there’s a balance.
10 hours or less and I personally wouldn’t pay full price for it.
100 and if you’re a busy person you’ll struggle to finish it for a long time.
However 20. - 30 hours would be acceptable for the prices they charge.

I’ll probably get flak for this but I bought mine off e bay.
However I purchased it weeks before launch from someone who turned out to be a decent enough guy and I paid £100 above RRP.
I was happy to pay the extra as I knew I wouldn’t get one until at least next spring from stores and I’ll be honest it’s been totally worth it.
Funny thing was when I went to pick it up on launch day evening they were selling on e bay for £900 - £1200... and you’re still lucky if you can find one for less than £800.

In all honesty I had already made the decision to wait until the fully fledged PS5 or series X version is released. I’m happy to wait as long as it takes. Another 2 years if necessary.
The games clearly got so much potential.
A real shame for those who are playing it now.

Not until they bring out the next gen version for the PS5.
I’m more than happy to wait and have so much to get on with as I’m a first time PlayStation adopter (as have always bought x box) so the PS Plus games along with Demon Souls give me so much to enjoy well into next year.

Fair enough. I haven’t used a bow in Demon Souls yet tbh as being Royalty class (I’m a novice souls player) so only use a sword and magic to date.
The more I’ve played it the more I enjoy the implementation of the feedback the controller provides though in the world as a whole.
I think we can excuse that as one of the early games to use the haptic feedback it hasn’t gotten everything quite right though.

Borderlands 3 is a year old game mate and wasn’t released with the controller in mind hence I agree it’s nothing outside the usual rumble feel in the controller.
Games released from now on you would hope would integrate the controller as part of the game experience.

Have you played demon souls?
It fits perfectly in the game and in my opinion really adds to the experience.
From getting hit by enemies to going up and down on the cog turning lifts in the mine shafts.
Everything has a different feel in your hands.
I personally love it and wouldn’t want to go back to old controllers now.

I’ve tried to steer clear of seeing any spoilers about the game so don’t think I’ve seen the boss you’re talking about but sounds like a nightmare!

I’m a first time Demon Souls (or any souls) player and thought long and hard before buying.
In all honesty I am thoroughly enjoying it.
Yes it’s hard and progress can be slow but I have definitely progressed my character.
I have been farming the skeletons on world 4-1 to level my character up even more.
One thing I am having trouble with though is the bosses.
I have tried maybe 20 times to beat the armoured spider and although once I got it down to half health I haven’t got close since.
Anyone have any tips for boss fights?
