Re: Talking Point: How Often Do You Use PS5's New UI Features?

Gmork___

So it's just as I thought when it was revealed, just a bunch of convoluted features that are a cluttered eyesore, that are more annoying than helpful.
How about just let people play their games and get all this crap outta the way lol.
Are ya with me!? I said ARE YA WITH ME!?
๐Ÿ˜‹

And while we're on the topic, OMG can we stop with all of this stupid horizontal scrolling in ALL things media. It's just awful

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 357

Gmork___

Other than jumping online with my buddy in coldwar all I've been playing for the past week is pillars of eternity and all I can say is if you've been on the fence about getting it and like classic dungeons and dragons type stuff then you will probably love this. It's on sale for like $13 Canadian, best deal I've got in years! Im TOTALLY addicted!

It might seem a bit boring compared to divinity original sin 2 since its very traditional setting etc while divinity is a bit more out there but im actually enjoying it quite a bit more than divinity and can't wait too get to the sequel!

Re: Guide: New PS5, PS4 Games This Week (14th December to 20th December)

Gmork___

Sooo you weren't going to mention that Follia:Dear Father, a new horror game releases today on the 15th?

Sadly ive noticed that a lot of smaller horror games get ignored on pushsquare. Why?? It makes me sad. And on that topic, i can say the same about fighting games.

So my 2 favorite genres usually get tossed aside, for what, endless articles about the newest trend? Most of them can be said in a single article then you could shine a light on other somewhat smaller games that deserve it and post other varied articles that will be infinitely more interesting than most of this daily fluff.
Article 1: Cyberpunk not running well.
Article 2: what do you think of cyberpunk not running well?
Article 3: cyberpunk still not running well.
Article 4: a patch released for cyberpunk but it still doesn't run too well.
Article 5:how to not actually play it yourself and find every secret and beat every level in cyberpunk.

Im sorry but this is what its like every day pretty much, just switch out the trend of the week.

Does pushsquare have higher ups dictating what happens with the site?
Ive been here a good few years and things just seem different these days, and have for a while.

Im sorry to rag on you, i dont mean to offend any of you.
You all seem like a lovely bunch of people, i just cant help but wonder about the way the site is handled. And i like you guys so i want to see it be better and continue being a positive member if this mostly kind, open minded community.

Re: Poll: What Is Your PS5 and PS4 Game of the Year 2020?

Gmork___

@Daleaf was that you i was talking about suicide of rachel foster with back when it released? If so, whatd ya think? I loved it for the most part.

Anyway, yeah visage is mostly really great imo. Definitely had me on edge most of the time. It can get pretty out there though which for me can take me out of it at times. Cant seem to be scared when its just a bit too abstract. Walking through a dark quiet house is wheres its at for me๐Ÿ˜

I still haven't gotten too far ito mind you. But so far its one of the best horror games ive played

Re: Crimson Desert Debuts Gameplay Trailer at The Game Awards

Gmork___

I wasnt paying any attention to this before but holy cow this was the stand out of the night!! It looked incredible!! Fps dips and all, im actually glad they showed what seemed to be an honest gameplay trailer flaws and all. I appreciate that. It will surely been cleaned up a bit before launch.

But holy moly it was gorgeous!

Re: Poll: Is Cyberpunk 2077's Poor PS4 Performance Acceptable?

Gmork___

Man am i ever glad i didnt preorder, ive hovered over the button MANY times mind you lol. And on a similar note im kinda glad i didnt preorder the ps5, as good as it may be it still seems like its not all its cracked up to be, and not what sony promised. Still hear about load times when they said the ps5 will have virtually zero loading and we still hear of fps dips etc when it was touted as having just insane power and speed to load ultra fast movement and scenes etc as shown on that unreal demo on the ps5.

In hindsight i guess everything seemed a little TOO perfect until right before launch and the first issues started to rear their ugly little heads.

Looking forward to getting mine just a bit more down the road when things have been ironed out. Until then my ps4pro is undoubtedly preeetty bad a**!

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Launch Day Isn't Going Smoothly for Every PS4 Player

Gmork___

@DonJorginho @JoshuaTChandler
What are you guys on? Lol.
How much more proof do you need to realize it is IN FACT a last gen game than the fact it RELEASED on ps4 and NOT ps5, thats just a backwards compatible version on ps5.
It is on ps4 NOT ps5, how dont you get that? Yes its an insanely ambitious game etc but that doesn't make it a next gen game. Should it have solely been a next gen game, ABSOLUTELY, but it was in development for yeeeeaaars as a last gen game and on its release was ONLY released on last gen consoles.
Im sorry i dont mean to offend you guys but holy moly

Re: Poll: Are You Buying Cyberpunk 2077?

Gmork___

I think they kinda screwed themselves a bit by marketing it as a last gen ps4 game and releasing it at the absolute end of the ps4s life cycle and then totally back pedaling and refusing to show it except on next gen or suped up PCs.
They should have just focused and only released on ps5 imo.

Re: Days Gone Is Trending on Twitter Because of Cyberpunk 2077

Gmork___

With day 1, week 1, month 1 patches being all too common these days i feel like realistic reviews need to happen no less than a month after release, if not 2 months.
Do i think developers should stop releasing unfinished games, yeah of course but lets face it, this is how things are now and i dont see that suddenly changing.
Having said that i believe Days Gone to EASILY be one of the best games released on the ps4!!....... After it was cleaned up and patched.

Re: Feature: Our PS5 Predictions for The Game Awards 2020

Gmork___

Obviously praying for SH, and streetfighter6.
Other than those specifics, id LOVE a truly unique 1on1 2d fighter similar gameplay as SF but with way more realistic and down to earth (ie no over the top goofy/silly/cartoon/wackiness) more like if you took classic oldschool kung fu movies and thew those on top of SFs mechanics and general gameplay.

Also id just DIE for a bethesda/R* style real openworld paranormal/slowburn horror game (AGAIN) in a realistic down to earth fashion.

Re: Soapbox: I've Missed the Feeling of Having a Backlog

Gmork___

My back log.... Ugh..... I often just sit after a long day of work. Excited to play games... I sit and stare at my 100s long list, sigh... And turn it off. Its too much work. Usually just end up depressingly watching videos on YT lol.
Often when im faced with games that have a lot going on, lots of item management etc it just seems like work when i just want to shut down and not think and have fun.
There are few games i can do that with. Street fighter, cod, but i would honestly rather be playing something more story oriented and D&D like but it always asks too much of me (at those tiring times)
Its a real dilemma as i actually DO have a back log of probably over 100 ps4 games that i really WOULD like to finish SOME DAY.
