Assassin's Creed Valhalla is far too long for its own good, so I've given up on the Viking adventure for now. Instead, I'm playing Bugsnax! What a delight it's been so far.

Finished up Demon’s Souls and now playing a mix of FF7R, Bloodborne and Dark Souls to see which one sticks. Also continuing P4G on my PSTV.
Cyberpunk 2077, a little Elite Dangerous, some Avengers singleplayer, maybe a hit or two in hitman, and maybe some dragons dogma on the switch in between.
Just finished playing shantae hgh pirate queen's quest, just need to find all the dark magic to get all the dlc trophy. After this, playing friends to the end dlc.
Really need to get back to PS5 games, but Persona 5 Royal has its claws into me so i'll be continuing with that!

Xbox 1: Rolling right along with Halo: MCC now on Halo 3 and its like catching up with a old friend.... Also on Xbox 1 Watch Dogs Legion.

About 78 hours into Assassins Creed Valhalla myself and still loving it.The only reason I would want to put it on pause is to try Immortals Fenix Rising which I received as a gift..
On Ps4 I am well into The Last Of Us 2,absolutely loving it despite not being a HUGE fan of the original and being one of the people that felt a sequel was unnecessary.
On Switch I'm playing Sakuna Of Rice And Ruin..a game more people need to play!
Just need to grind out 20 skill points in sekiro then I’ll have my platinum but debating if I should keep grinding in one spot in NG+ or to start NG++

I'm sad because I've just wrapped up my first playthrough (streetkid) of Cyberpunk 2077. 157 hours of wild rides, good vibes, brilliant characters, great music and the amazing duo of Johnny Silverhand and female V.
There's only one thing for it - time to start another playthrough as a Nomad.
I started avengers last night. Loving it so far 👍👍
Playing 13 Sentinels. Got really hooked in this game. I’ll try to squeeze in Dragon’s Dogma too. I also started playing Crash Bandicoot 4. Crash is pretty tough, its like one you beat a stage it’s thank god it’s over. I ain’t the gamer I used to be lol.
Miles Morales during the day, and Cyberpunk at night (PS5). Been loving Cyberpunk, bugs and crashes and all, but very much looking forward to this January patch with crossed fingers...
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, just started the final case in it. Also been replaying the original Ratchet and Clank, and there might be some time for some Cyberpunk 2077 as well.
All retro for me as I've picked up Doom on PS1 and Simpsons Hit and Run for the PS2
Final Fantasy 8 - picked it up in the sale, having some fun.
Dragons Dogma - installed this again after seeing an article here yesterday. Played the first bit and left town, kind of hit me why I stopped playing it last time. Might not boot it up again.
Dirt Rally 2 - got back into this after getting a bit bored of Dirt 5. It’s a lot more fun. Can’t quite justify picking up WR9 right now but will do down the line.
Bravely Default 2 Demo - much better than the last demo. Might not play too much more though to keep things interesting for when the game launches.
Doom Eternal - Got this in the sale too, doubt I’ll play much more of it. How did they screw up the sequel to the great Doom 2016 so badly? I’m finding it a real chore to play.
Final Fantasy CC - Another game I got in the sale, maybe I’ll play a little more this weekend but it didn’t grab me from the get go so it’s probably going to get deleted and forgotten about. You win some and you lose some I guess.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake - New save, enjoying it. Gunna push through to the end. Probably.

Persona 5, have just finished the casino palace and things are getting interesting.

@kyleforrester87 I was so looking forward to Doom Eternal but I just find it really annoying to play. Its not about shooting but babysitting different meters as I'm constantly bombarded with messages about low armour, health and ammo as Doom guy has very small pockets these days
I platinumed 2016 and still play it regularly but I won't be playing this one again
Just picked up the Sega Mega-Drive/Genesis Collection on Steam, so I'll be making my way through that. More games than I ever had when I owned a Genesis back in the day, so I'm happy
Making my way through demon souls, haven't really got stuck yet, think this is the easiest I have found these games, still hard in parts but do able. Brilliant game so far. Still got Kentucky road to play too might put that on at some point this weekend if I can get away from demon souls 🙂

I'll be mainly playing Ghost of Tsushima. Not much else I can say that has already been said but really enjoying it. Taking my time exploring the map and getting slowly lost in the world, lore and story. There's an awful lot to like about this game and it definitely feels like yet another win for a Sony studio.
Will be playing a bit of Hollow Knight as well. Reached another stage where further progress is dependent on beating a boss or bosses in this case. Sigh. There's a lot to admire in this game but I'm not sure I'll ever finish it lol.

@carlos82 the story makes no sense. It’s like the game starts a few chapters in. Combat is annoying with the ammo restrictions. I know it’s meant to make you change guns more frequently but it’s just annoying. All the menus and upgrades thrown at you are annoying. Those flying enemies you fire bombs into the mouth of are just a pain in the ass. All that purple goop that slows you down is annoying. Me no like!
Just finished Bugsnax 100% about an hour ago and really enjoyed it!
Had to use the Pushsquare guide a couple of times and some of the bugs were very tricky to catch.
will spend some time pacing backwards and forwards in front of demon souls boss gates..generally getting anxious and sweaty..
Cyberpunk. I had to really dig into the settings to make combat and exploration tolerable, and there are still crashing and other technical issues pretty regularly on PS5.
And yet.....this is a really good game. I am hooked by it. The characters and quests are great.
It is a real shame that it is so much work to get to the good stuff, because I know it will keep some people from playing. Cyberpunk really is a special game hiding under some pretty annoying issues.

FARCRY5. Should have bought this a long time ago but got AC Odyssey instead because I hadn't played an AC game since ACII. Again bought MHWorld also instead because I hadn't played an MH game. And then again 2018 was a crazily packed year. Deep down I knew FARCRY was always my thing. Too much fun!
Between trips to Midgard with Atreus, I’m also spending my days in Tokyo with the Phantom Thieves. Both are really great games.

Whats going on guys, haven’t posted on here in a while but I was able to finally platinum Catherine on PS3 and it’s a huge relief to get that one off my trophy list. One of my personal most difficult platinums without a doubt, been trying off and on for 4 years!
As a celebration I’m playing God of War: Ascension on PS3, the entry most people find to be lackluster after the stellar GoW III. Still feels fun after moving blocks for over 170 hours in Catherine! Happy gaming everyone.

Might play a bit of Super Ghouls and Ghosts, which I'm yet to complete, or Mega Man 3 as I've worked through the first two again. Been really enjoying the Super Retrocade I bought recently, who needs a PS5 ha. If I find some more modern gaming time I'm still playing Watch Dogs Legion and Dirt 5.

Past couple days I've been playing a lot of old Genesis games I had either missed out on or never finished. Crusader of Centy, Wonder Boy, etc. Save states make these old games playable again, as I just don't have the patience to replay whole sections of games multiple times.

@Lumic that’s what I was leaning towards, spent 2 hours farming and have it down to 11 skill points. Think I’ll kill the sword saint to start NG++ as it’s starting to grate on me
@sentiententity You can use your human forms dash ability to pass through the lasers. Definitely a significant difficulties spike at the end. I’m on what I think is the final bosses fourth attack pattern and I’m still trying to work out how to damage him in that one. I’m sure I’ll get there eventually.
Continue Chapter 6 of Yakuza 7. Might also continue playing Bug Fables on PC.

@Lumic after divine dragon either just outside the castle on the way to the Demon of hatred or the upper part of the castle can get about 12,000-14,000 xp every 2 mins but it’s boring as hell back stabbing enemies. It’s about 70k per skill point now and rising
Finished up the Platinum for Valhalla on the 1st, so now I'm finally diving in to Immortals and Demon's Souls. 😁
Finish the Sleeping Dogs and shadow of the tomb raider dlc.

The best answer a player can give after finishing a good rpg, or any other game whatsoever.
And that is the best thing about a rpg that gives you choices, let´s you play a "role" in the game, chose a different class and make different decisions that affect the world around us.
That was exactly what I did when I first finished Mass Effect.
14 hours only on Cyberpunk 2077 on PC,
but I´m really enjoying it.

@Crimson_Ridley lucky you. I just encountered a glitched world event on what was supposed to be my last day with the game and I'm also unable to catch hardly any fish off the coast of England (they just don't spawn - apparently it's a common issue). I like this game a lot but now it's pissing me off
Edit: literally took 10 minutes to catch all 4 types in Norway but it's impossible to get the sea fish in England.
@Voltan The fish were a pain in the arse. I found that they would never spawn if my longboat was nearby, so I had to keep fast travelling away, then making my way back to the coasts without the boat.
I also had to meditate a few times to get them to show up. There is definitely an issue with them that Ubisoft really need to look in to.
Which World Event has glitched?
@Crimson_Ridley the one where a rather large nun is supposed to attack me after talking to a rather loud priest - first time I approach them the priest was actually silent - it seemed something was wrong because when I talked to him Eivor commented about his shouting (which he wasn't doing) and then the nun was supposed to attack me but she didn't - now whenever I go there the priest is indeed shouting but I can't even talk to him anymore (tried multiple reloads, fast travels, finished other stuff, nothing helps)
@Voltan I think I know which one you mean, Saint Faith in Hamtunscire?
I had a couple of treasure hoard locations glitch on me, so I had to exit the animus or change gender a couple of times to get them to work. If you've not already tried that, might be worth a go?
Can you attack the nun to see if it forces the game to get her to attack back?
The nun is invulnerable unfortunately. I haven't tried exiting the animus or changing gender - will as soon as I get the "overdesign" trophy, lol - it's just this, the fish and the one event left

@Crimson_Ridley Welp, I'm now officially just one glitch away from the platinum trophy. Just got all the fish - I followed your advice about avoiding the longboat but I also focused exclusively on areas where rivers enter the sea - not sure which one it was but it worked after a few tries. No luck with the world event so far though.
Making my first bid for a platinum trophy playing burnout paradise just need to a group of cars in the stadium and one more parking garage and I'm done

Been playing days gone for the first time on PS5 and loving it, also pacer the wipeout clone which honestly has been better than i expected.
Other than jumping online with my buddy in coldwar all I've been playing for the past week is pillars of eternity and all I can say is if you've been on the fence about getting it and like classic dungeons and dragons type stuff then you will probably love this. It's on sale for like $13 Canadian, best deal I've got in years! Im TOTALLY addicted!
It might seem a bit boring compared to divinity original sin 2 since its very traditional setting etc while divinity is a bit more out there but im actually enjoying it quite a bit more than divinity and can't wait too get to the sequel!
Im still all in with Cyberpunk 2077 on my second play-through as Female V. I love this game but there is still the error code crashes hitting me about every 4 to 6 hours. Most of the time its at the start of a new quest so no progress is lost on PS5.
Finished Ghost of Tsushima yesterday, so today might be the day I dip my toe into Cyberpunk on the PS4

Trudging through the swamp of sorrows in Demon's Souls. Trying to collect as much items in my first playthrough as possible before I head to the top of Bolteria , but need to get past 5-2 & 5-3 first!

I was going to suggest just before Demon of Hatred but you’re already on it - that was the spot I used. I’m guessing if your xp requirements are already at around the 70k mark you bought that gold mask thing that allows you to increase your power?

@EricLane85 they are pretty central to the story of the game those two characters it's not like it's a forced thing. The game is fantastic i got the platinum, It's 2021 i'm sure most kids are clued up and don't really care about two girls sharing an innocent kiss. They'll just want to catch bugsnax!
@Lumic I got the platinum last night ended up using the antichamber checkpoint and killed the purple ninja about 300 times worked out a much faster xp farm as was getting about 18,000 per 2 mins

I've been playing Yakuza 6. You'd think I'd be bored after just spending 80 hours playing through Yakuza 5, but it's still managing to hold my attention.

I have worked with gay people and I have nothing against them as people, I just don't want my child exposed to that behavior. It seemed forced to me. We loved Octodad and beat it in co-op. I know there's a push to normalize it and you can pretend if you'd like but there is no denying there is a big difference between a traditional family like in Octodad and two homosexuals kissing in Bugsnax.
