Not sure why but ever since super mario 3 on the nes ive been keen on desert stages/themes. Maybe its just too much beige lol i dunno. But once i knew thats what was in store fir this game i instantly was a bit bummed. Combined with these short comings ill have to pass. Shame as there really hasnt been any good horror games lately.

@andreoni79 got the amnesia collection thingy on ps4. And got LOF2 on ps4 and actually was extremely disappointed in it. I LOVED part 1 but 2 is just so artsy and its simply not scary in the least imo.

Unpopular opinion, im not into it. Seems awfully convoluted. So much filler and clutter. Was REALLY hoping for something clean and minimal.
I SERIOUSLY hope i dont have to deal with all of that nonsense during gameplay.
Talk about taking you out of the immersion. What i mean is, i hope these features are not forced on developers. Say im playing a really atmospheric horror game (lets say PT part 2!) but when i pause the game all these colorful windows pop up asking if i want to share my latest PT trophies on twitter or share my progress with my friends list or whatever.
Seems like a system made for people who spend their whole lifes on social media. I just want to be able to avoid ALL of it.
How about just tell me theres folders.

God i hope the UI doesnt use the same large icons/blocks across the top middle of the screen, directly blocking the main focus of most themes/art/screenshots.

Hope theres just a higher quality to the themes in general. 90% of ps4 are absolutely atrocious and LOW LOW quality.

Id also be very much down for a chrome system for that authentic UFO look!!

They should make a camping mode where each team is at opposite sides and at the start of the match they each get claymores etc and a certain amount of time to set up their area then they take turns trying to get through.

I wouldn't call that packed. Wish oct was like a horror game advent calendar, one for every day. And though im happy for a few more horror games i cant say im overly excited for any of these.

Was feeling pretty down today but this definitely helps!! I find minecraft to be extremely relaxing and cathartic and thinking about getting lost in those blocky adorable worlds is so appealing!

Sony should buy capcom, silent hill IP, kojima productions and fatal frame IP from stupid nintendo and all will be right in the world

Yeah its definitely a step backwards. WM was perfect, everything just felt right. Ive essentially hated cod games for the last 3 or 4 iterations, WM was the 1st time i truly enjoyed a cod game in a long while.
I can only hope they dont try to shake things up and try something different because its perfect. The mobility, the feel, the sound and especially the maps.
The way things are unlocked and the way some dlc is handle could definitely be better but... Yeah

Jeez... I mean... Ive lost faith in bethesda but i kiiind of still had hope. To think i wont play another fallout or elderscrolls hurts bad.
Im not going to buy a whole system just to play a couple games.
Sony should take note and realize microsofts plan now, its not to make the better console, its to take all the developers. Quick sony, use some of that money you made with the ps4 and dont let them get their grubby hands on anything else. And god dammit QUICK BUY CAPCOM.

Prices going up $10 means that here in canada ill be paying an eye watering $90 for a single game.

@Daleaf omg i feel like we are kindred spirits lol. The first thing that comes to mind is a movie on netflix (so maybe youve seen it already) called I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House.

Im guessing from what you say that you will also see it for the absolute masterpiece of spine tingling art that it is. Most people would probably hate it and think its boring. Me personally, i think its one of the best movies ive ever seen.

Now concerning suicide of rachel foster, i beat it last night. And though i honestly think its one of the best games ive ever played, it does have its flaws.

• Its short, around 4 hrs, which i wouldnt mind but it feels too rushed from the middle onward.
• Certain aspects they introduce are not fleshed out and used enough and could have sky rocketed the game into being absolute gold.
• The story is uncomfortable and icky, which i personally have no problem with. Its like if people were mad at silence of the lambs because cannibalism is morally wrong and think they are painting it in a cool light and not addressing the reality of how vile and horrible hannibal is.
  Ive seen reviews of suicide of rachel and how its handling of the subject matter really ruffled some feathers. Its like people only want to see themselves in games, movies etc rather than complicated, flawed characters. Like, its a fictitious story, let them paint their story with the colors they choose. Its a story, not YOUR story, theres going to be things you dont like, people may or may not respond to things the way you would. I doubt any decent human being is going to argue that the subject matter is VERY wrong and horrible. Ok rant over.
• Aaaaand the last thing.... The end sequence. Ill leave it at that.

But all in all i absolutely adored this game, was on edge the entire time! And it does what ive wanted and always wished for in a game, and it mostly does it very well!

Playing suicide of rachel foster and OH MY GOODNESS!! So far this legit seems more like a AAA title than the measly $27CAD i bought it for!!
Its quite frankly stunning! It looks absolutely beautiful! Almost photorealistic graphics similar to PT with so much fine detail, perfect anti aliasing usually only seen in AAA games, though theyre simple/minimal it has nice smooth controls and movement 60fps from what i can tell, very realistic sound design that is giving my the jeebies when i hear a creak or some little noise off in the distance lol. And to top it all off it has quite good and mostly natural voice work! Oh and perfectly suiting soundtrack.
I feel like im playing RE7!

Ive only just begun but as a huge horror fan so far this is feeling like one of the best games ive played in a long time!!

Im willing to pay around the same for ps5 but reeeally hope its less. I mean when it really comes down to it ill pay $800 if i HAVE to lol lets just hope it doesn't come to that.
