Black Friday might be over, but did you really think you'd be safe from Sony's bargain-fuelled wrath? PlayStation Store has been updated today with a new sale named End of Year Deals, and there are hundreds more discounted PS4 games to browse.
It's slim pickings for PS5 games in this sale, unfortunately. Dead by Daylight's Special Edition is a bargain, though, giving you both versions of the game for just £9.99. PS4 software is the order of the day, then, and there's plenty to spend your money on.
Headlining this new offer is Death Stranding, which has had its price slashed to £15.99/$19.99. There are lots of big games going cheap here — Assassin's Creed Odyssey is down to £15.39/$14.99, Dark Souls III Deluxe Edition is only £13.74/$21.24, and Control can be had for £14.99/$17.99. We can also highly recommend Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown for £19.99/$19.79, Zombie Army 4: Dead War for £15.99/$19.99, and Dragon Ball FighterZ for a measly £7.67/$9.59.
There are some seriously big price cuts here, such as GRID Ultimate Edition for £9.99/$13.49, Mirror's Edge Catalyst for £3.05/$3.99, and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for only £2.39/$2.99. This sale includes a huge breadth of games from PS4's catalogue, so it's well worth checking out. The sale runs through until 23rd December.
You can browse the full list of deals through here. Will you be forking out for any last-minute PS4 deals? Tell us what you're buying in the comments section below.

Another one.gif?!
I just want Crash Bandicoot half price
The first Ni No Kuni game for £8 is very tempting.
@ApostateMage Flippin' do it, mun!
Figures, i just bought Grid ultimate the other week at whatever it cost. Im at the point soon that if i want to spontaneously play a game, i better wait for it to be on sale.
Love psn deals, i almost switched to fully digital collection because of them.
Just for funsies, I bought NFS Rivals (I've heard good things about it) and Armikrog (I love the art syle).
Got myself Death Stranding and hope for a PS5 patch rather than a remaster
Borderlands 3 Season Pass for £24 is a bargain, using the Black Friday deal on PS Store too you can grab Borderlands 3 for £16.79 which allows you access to the PS5 upgrade.
For £40.79 you can get the game with all the story dlc add-ons compared to paying £65 for the Next Level Edition which is the base game with a few cosmetics.
You would be blind not to take that deal if interested in some silky smooth looting action!
Not a bad little mix from what I've seen of indies & older AAA'ish remasters-AT LONG LAST, Blazing Chrome finally on sale!!
Pang Adventures didn't seem to reinvent the wheel but $6 a bargin,Anyone who hasn't got Wonderboy Dragon's Trap really should,its a bargin!
Saw Castlestorm II is half price but 3 star average doesn't seem encouraging compared to the original! Ooh,& Chasm isn't a bad pickup either!
As usual,none of WayForward's back catalogue of the Shantae Games or River City Girls is there despite most of them currently getting deep discounts on other formats. Their standard answer on twitter has been "We didn't have any opportunity for a PS4 sale at this time but if we have one we'll post about here!"....& hope you go away until their next Switch, PC,Xbox promotion!!...
Been 2-3+yrs since their last Shantae HGH/Pirates Curse/Risky Revenge sale,& no PSN discounts for River City Girls at $45AU, wish I knew why they ignore PS4 owners unless they're flogging Limited Edition physical runs!
Eventually gave in and got the AC Odyssey season pass - mainly for Liberation Remastered, to be honest. Also the Persona 5 dancing game since I got P5R the other day and thought "I wonder what these characters would look like dancing horribly out of time because the person controlling them is terrible at rhythm action games," and now I'll know.
I just bought doom eternal for $20 and this day, street of rage 4 for $17. Psn price is really good if you have some patience and don't buy games at first day 😃
Would've gotten some games on sale already but Cyberpunk is holding my money hostage right now.
@munkholt death stranding at £16 (even less with discounted PSN credit!) is a real bargain.
Don't use my ps4 much but I'll probably buy Death Stranding. Always looked interesting and haven't watched many gameplay videos. One of those games where I want to go in blind.
I can't even find this sale on the PS5 PS Store.
Deus Ex MD - $4.49 (already purchased)
Deus Ex MD Deluxe - $6.79
Deus Ex MD Season Pass - $14.99
🧐
Impossible to find deals on the PS5 store.
@munkholt incredible game. Have fun!
I'll probably get the borderlands sp and very tempted to get mirrors edge too.
@oldschool1987 Yes! The store (and wishlist!) works really well. So why not push sales as on PS4? I want to give you my money, Sony, please let me!
@Snake_V5 yeah for some reason its not in the DEALS section but i found it in the YOU MAY ALSO LIKE section, though when i went to it it wouldnt load up the games, its just left "thinking" with a blank screen without the game icons
@everynowandben eh, Human Revolution was the better game anyway. Replayed the whole series recently on PC (except the Fall, which won't even run because some server isn't running anymore. IIRC I didn't miss much there) as was surprised how flat Mankind Divided felt even with the better graphics, bigger hubs, etc. It just didn't feel right.
@theheadofabroom Sure, but I already played HR (Director's Cut).
The point I was trying to make is that Square-Enix via Sony put the game, both standard and deluxe editions, on sale for like 80% off, while the DLC (which I have not played) is still full price, and costs more than 3 times the price of the entire game (more than 2 times the cost of the deluxe version which includes that DLC). I was commenting more on the odd sales tactic rather than the quality of the game itself.
I just find it strange that they're basically excluding people who have already invested in the game; people who would possibly pay more for more content, but not so much more that one could buy the entire game 3 more times and still not have spent the amount of money they're asking one to spend for the DLC alone.
@everynowandben can you not just buy the deluxe edition and accept the sunk cost of the standard edition? Such is the way of DLC unfortunately frequently.
@theheadofabroom I could, but it just kinda wouldn’t feel right. When I purchased MD, it was $4.49 like it is now, and the DLC was $2.99, but I wasn’t sure that I would like the game, so I didn’t get the DLC. Turns out I did like it, and since finishing it, I was waiting for the DLC to go on sale again - but it didn’t, even though the game did.
Sorry, hahaha, I didn’t mean for that to turn into a big thing! It’s not a big deal or anything, just a strangeness that I felt like pointing out in my original post 🤓
@AFCC No joke, check your local library. I've checked it out twice now; I'll never have to pay for it.
@SwitchVogel what?
@AFCC Depends on where you live, but most libraries have a collection of PS4 games you can borrow from for a couple weeks at a time. A library in my area has Crash 4, so I can just pick it up from there for free if I ever want to play it.
Even if they PAID YOU to play Death Stranding, it still wouldn't be a good deal!
@McJagger glad I paid full price for it, one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had, Just because you may not have liked it that doesn't mean others will be the same!
@SwitchVogel Where the hell is the magical world that you are living in!?
PS Store is a joke. Not randomly browsing ever. Store needs filter and sort options pronto. No $$ from me until then.
@iCaramba Check your library! I really think the whole concept of a library is one of the most underutilized things of modern times. They've grown into so much more than just places to get books!
@DonJorginho
I bought BL3 a couple of days ago for the sale price. Was going to pull the trigger on the DLC's but figured I'd just play vanilla first and buy the dlc on sale. Glad I waited, I would have been filthy if I paid full price for it.
@SwitchVogel That's awesome. Much better than paying the new release premium to play new games and having to return them a couple nights later at the video shop.
I hate that I can't filter the add-ons and DLCs and just search 'games' anymore (Unless I can and I can't actually see how)
