Call of Duty: Warzone will be fully integrated with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in just over a week on 10th December 2020, and it looks like the first season of content for Activision's latest FPS will mark the return of a certain Battle Royale map. Originally featured in the Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Alcatraz will be returning as Rebirth Island if this social media leak is to be believed.
Tweeted out by the @BlackOpsLeaks Twitter account and then picked up by Charlie Intel, a piece of key art has hit the internet that details the return of the location in question along with the rebrand. Check it out below before the image is likely pulled as part of a DMCA claim.

The original Verdansk map has been the only place to take in Call of Duty: Warzone's Battle Royale action since launch back in March, so another location will surely be met with positivity from the fanbase. A shame it's not an entirely new map, but still, it's something. Are you still playing Call of Duty: Warzone? Share your loadout in the comments below.

@Gaming365247 What a witty and brave comment. Slow clap.
The Alcatraz map in blackout was one of my favourite experiences that year. Looking forward to seeing how it changes. Hope it keeps the fast pace
Thats the issue with BR. I do t understand why they dont put a bit more effort in and make a couple extra maps
I still have my suspicions over how "fully integrated" Warzone and Cold War will be, considering they run on different game engines. I'm also equally perplexed as to why Activision let Treyarch and Infinity Ward use different engines in the first place.
I still cant play fuc++++g Modern Warfare on PS5 coz it wants me to reinstall the whole game every time I try to play
