I feel like Insomniac has coasted off Spider-Man for over a decade now and I wonder if they have anything in them that isn’t that style of game? Wolverine will sell on the name Wolverine alone, because let’s be real, it’s just Spider-Man without the web slinging. I feel like a venom game would just be another Spider-Man game with no web slinging too.

Anyone who didn’t vote for Mortal Shell 2 is probably just mad they had to use the easy mode that disabled trophies.

They’ve already shown the premium stuff they will show for this year. I knew this show and anything else this year wasn’t/isn’t going to show off anything special, so don't bother showing up and wasting an hour when you can just see a few newish trailers from games we already know about at best.

Why would anyone need to reorder a disk? I thought if you bought a disc version you owned it and it lasted forever?

Every time I feel like maybe I’m ready to play this game something more interesting comes out and takes its place. I feel like it might be a PS+ game by the time I get to it.

After seeing the latest trailers I assume the game probably just parries for you similar to how it plays itself in every other aspect too...

They are leaving the ‘press X to play’ for Insomniac games.

My guess is maybe extended trailers or gameplay of games we’ve already seen. I don’t expect to see anything new.

And in a few months 50 million people will be playing GTA 6 on a Playstation. I would say all I wanted to right now if I were Sony. Air it out, bruh.

Even with disposable income, there simply isn’t enough time to play all these games. When 63% of gamers buy less than 2 games total a year, it doesn’t really matter how good the games coming out are, there aren’t enough people buying enough for the amount coming out.

NG+? I made it about halfway through this game before I moved onto to other things. I have no idea why people think this is one of the best games in the franchise. I will come back and finish it at some point. But I couldn't even imagine playing through it a second time.

Probably the first of many dominos to fall for this company.

I don't believe this game will even make back it's money at this point. ND could use a shake up anyways.

The demo for this didn't really wow me enough to make this a day 1 purchase with everything else out or coming out this year. I feel like this will make a nice on sale game next year.

Judging by the review, and the listed cons, this game is probably another 5/10 game reviewers don't want to risk their early access to truly review. Seems like this game will make a good PS+ addition down the road.

@GirlVersusGame whether it’s 5 hours or 500 hours, this game will start at $70 like every other AAA game.

I’ve waited for over 10 years for this game to finally be finished so looking forward to playing it soon. Thank you to everyone who paid for early access to play test this game over the last decade so that I and others could play it fully completed.

I wish there was a way to see how low the number people who did this was.

The greatest strategy the internet warriors ever pulled off was rebranding legitimate critique as hate, lol. This sequel was mediocre and it’s not hate to say that. It’s visually stunning. And the combat is excellent. But the characters and story are some of the most forgettable in gaming. But I imagine this article was written for engagement and not for conversation.

After watching Lucky on Apple TV apparently if you just put your hood up on your hoodie you can easily evade most cops including the FBI.

I played some of the earlier Sniper Elite games and they just don’t hook you.

@ShadowRJ the reality is no matter what industry you’re in, they solve for the majority. The simple fact is the majority of gamers don’t care about physical. And in this case, it’s an overwhelming majority, as in it won’t even hurt their business to make no concessions. All that can be said has been said. So the people still holding out hope just look foolish to the rest of us at this point which is why it’s devolving into snark and jeering.

Mortal Shell 2. I’m embarrassed how much I bashed this game before it came out to how much I’ve played it since. Will this teach me to hold my tongue in the future? Absolutely not.

It bums me out about both of these things as now I don't get to watch the usual NPC's here meltdown over either.

Why do you need a breakdown trailer of gameplay when all you do is push the sticks forward and hit X every once in a while?

So this game really should have cost $200 to buy is what I hear you saying.

I’ll still wait to see the true day 1 reviews because as impressive as that was it’s still just a marketing video and not a game in the wild.

With the amount of cake this game has, it’s no wonder it took 10 years to make.

@Balaam_ what are you talking about? The company that spent all the time, expense and manpower on the game own the game, lol. They just let the people who contributed absolutely nothing to its conception rent it for a fee.

Dev groups right now aren’t even building many games that can even hit 60 frames per second and it’s not because the current hardware can’t do it. Simply put, devs aren’t even making games that fully utilize PS5 features, and yet people are freaking out they can’t afford a PS6 without understanding it won’t even do you any good to have more powerful hardware when no one will even make games for it. Hell, all PS5 Pro owners got was a little logo on some games that say “Pro Enhanced” and you just have to take Sonys word that means anything…

Im still looking forward to playing this. But let’s be real. It’s just Forza 5 with a new story. Which was just Forza 4 with a new story.

I do honestly hope Sony engineers a program similar to this one so the 10 people still left collecting discs can somewhat join us in the future.

I feel like this game has come out at the wrong time and with so many other more interesting games out there it doesn't really feel like there is anything unique here to pick this over others.

Just like I am waiting for the complete version of Crimson Deseret before I jump in, I am grateful to see CDPR finally finish the Witcher 3 to full completion so now I can finally play it. What a wait to see that game finally completed 10 years later. I can't wait to play Crimson Deseret in 10 years when they finally finish their game too.
