@MrPeanutbutterz I have to believe it’s just people who think if there isn’t an assault rifle in it then it’s not a game.

I was initially hyped for this, then saw some videos and thought it might be ass, but then saw some newer videos and now hyped for it again. It’s been a wild ride.

Will never be sad to see a multiplayer or live service game die before it even comes out — or after.

@Northern_munkey it really just boils down to Pro owners want to feel justified in their upgrade and base users don't want to feel like they have been left behind. The reality is it's somewhere in the middle. If you really pay attention to performance and want to always be up to date, the purchase is warranted. But if you just game like a casual person, which would be most people, you really are never going to notice the difference.

I don't care if I have to delete everything else off my console. Give it to me.

@Sanquine this might be the goofiest comment on here, lol. Buy a game you know is mediocre to see if it's actually mediocre. It is why reviews and discourse about video games exist. To not have to waste money.

@Jay767 this is a tired argument. You can take a few minutes to look at how poorly Marathon has done on the Steam charts and then go back to playing other games seconds later. In fact that just IS what everyone is doing, lol.

I am playing through Control right now because it's leaving PS+ soon and other than the environmental design and the somewhat intriguing story, the game play is very flat for me.

Pragmata no question. I almost wish/hope GTA 6 gets pushed again just because I think GOTY would be really interesting this year if that didn't come out.

@LifeGirl brother there were 20,000 games released in 2025 — the most in any year ever. Like, do you expect everyone to just spend thousands of dollars a month on games to support every single company out there? 2025 was the biggest profit in video games ever too. There is no crash just because articles highlight layoffs and studio closings. There’s no evidence to suggest we are anywhere near a “crash”.

Never thought PSVR would last. It’s the same reason no one went to 3D movies enough. No one wants something on their head or face when they want to watch something.

Almost bought Nine Sols a few times so glad I didn’t. Wuchang looks interesting too. I think it’s a better month than a lot of others.

Control before it leaves. Honestly I’m not sure why people say this game is that great. It’s certainly not bad. But it’s not that interesting either.

It’s up there with the all time greats. I feel like the chuds who can’t admit the game is in the all time category are the same closet Dave Matthew’s Band fans who just think it’s eggy to say his music sucks. Grow up.

Who would take a chance on a refurbished model for only $100 cheaper? Bruh, do a couple Ubers and get a brand new one.

Given how well it's been received and it's overall success I don't know why you wouldn't. I would be ok if they even did a larger DLC to expand more story and add any new mechanics they could think of.

It's cool that ND added Abby in the background too.

@Th3solution it's ignorant and tone def if nothing else. The live service market is dying in general and these people think even if they could get hundreds of thousands of signatures that would be enough to support it. It wouldn't.

This game should be a disaster. ND has gotten to fly under the radar of becoming a subpar studio simply because they haven’t done anything in 7 years. Well, they did do one thing that was shut down, lol.

@StitchJones yeah, I’m sure all those devs were saddened by the job security that Spider-Man and Wolverine have brought for the last decade plus, lol.

Wolverine is the only Day 1. Phantom can wait for a sale. Dawnwalker looks mid, I’m sorry. Never had any interest in Tails.

@Oram77 It should. As much as people hate games being released before they are done, if a game changes substantially enough it really should at least have it amended if they fixed or added things that alleviate the original issues. People do still look to outlets for reviews of games to buy later and if the review includes things that are no longer true they should be updated.

This game is primed for Plus. I just know the second I buy this on a sale it will be on Plus a few months later. Lucky the backlog is long.

People just like to doom post because it generates interest. But this game will be $70 for the standard version. Anything more than that I will definitely wait until a sale. GTA6 will be a 10 year long game. No one needs to rush it if it's way overpriced.

Really hope it leans back into Remake and less into Rebirth. Rebirth was a slog.

Day 1. Never played it. The poll pretty much shows why these remakes/masters are working. Between people who bough this game and never finished it, or never bought it at all, it's almost half.

@LogicStrikesAgain I have Marvel fatigue but the exceptions will always include Wolverine, Dead Pool or Venom.

I really hope they do the story justice. With how poor Spider-Man 2 was story wise, and how poorly Sony studios have just done narrative in general over the last 5 years, I am holding my breathe on this one. I know the gameplay will slap.

I’ll let everyone know when it comes to PS+.

I think Ubi’s best move is to spend the next 4-5 years just remaking the early games. Black Flag Resync will probably do better numbers than Shadows.

Major outlets giving all these games 6/10s while the games do numbers and actually reward their team members in the end. Where is this heat with Bungie? Or Ubisoft? Or Bethesda? Granted they need to make games that don't flop first. But the only person who ever got anything out of Destiny's success was Pete Parsons.

I wonder if this is the boat Intergalactic is in right now?
