New Marvel's Wolverine PS5 Trailer Breaks Down Gameplay Features, Accessibility Options, More 1

Out in a matter of weeks, Sony's latest PS5 exclusive is Marvel's Wolverine, a superhero action adventure starring everyone's favourite ball of rage.

When it launches on 15th September, it looks like it'll come packed with lots of interesting features and accessibility options, as detailed in this new trailer:

The video, along with a new PS Blog post, gets into gameplay details, such as various techniques and special skills you can unlock to enhance Logan's combat abilities.

Adaptations, meanwhile, are upgrades to Wolverine himself, improving things like his Rage build-up, ability to parry attacks, the number of bullets he can absorb, and so on. This all sounds like fairly standard fare for an action game.

The video also gets into optional side activities and collectibles, like the Nightmare Door challenges, whisky bottles, and suit materials you can gather to craft new outfits. Unlocking new suits also grants max health bonuses.

As previously confirmed, Marvel's Wolverine will launch with New Game+ mode, while a Photo mode will also be there day one via a patch. You'll also be able to replay missions at your leisure.

Finally, the trailer talks about accessibility options, many of which return from previous Insomniac titles.

It seems like a vast array of ways to make the game more accommodating for the hard of sight and hard of hearing — plus you can make various inputs easier to perform, change various difficulty parameters, and more. The full list is through the link, and it's quite impressive.

The list includes filters for things like bad language and blood and gore; if you like, you can toggle off swearing, blood detail, and dismemberment.
