@Swirly I have a friend who works for an even more well known retailer and he said sales have sky rocketed.

@PuppetMaster TLOU multiplayer would be connected to the single player game the same way Marathon was connected to Destiny. It would need a completely different kind of player base and essentially it is a new IP. The same way that almost no Destiny players bought into and played Marathon, given it's basically the same game but just PvP focused, no one who plays single player/PVE games like TLOU is going to sign up to play a multiplayer game either. This game would have died the same death that Marathon is right now.

I bet the Concord devs though the same thing, lol.

@Balaam_ brother if they shut down a server it doesn’t matter if you own the game physically.

@themightyant yeah there’s nothing to suggest that just because you have a physical version of a game that the physical version would definitely go on sale just because there’s a physical version, lol. Are you maybe thinking because you could get it second hand for cheaper?

@Bluemoon2008 more like they probably didn’t know about it it until this article brings too much popularity to it and you’ll see it shut down shortly. All they’d have to do is send his a cease and desist letter and he’d stop immediately. No sense in needing lawyers to recoup any “loses” given he’s probably not made much money from it. But it would take almost nothing to get him to stop because he’s not going to fight it if he can barely sell some of them to begin with.

@StitchJones so many new gamers keep coming into the fray that the only people who really complain are old heads with nothing better to do. A lot of gamers just see an old game they never played coming back with updated graphics and performance and go sweet now I get to experience it too. No one who already played any remake/remaster has to buy and play the new version. Just go sit in the corner and wait for your medicine, grandpa.

Doesn’t surprise me with how bad AC Shadows was and preformed that we’ve been thirsty for a real AC game to play for a long time now.

I didn’t think Spider-Man 2 hit that great so I’d like to see if they pull off Wolverine before I would start hoping for a Venom game.

Seems like it could be entertaining when it comes to PS+ if it lasts that long.

You know it’s bad when Marathon is the best live service game PS will produce in the last 5 years. Give it up and go back to what you do best.

I feel like it's more sad that people with a Pro have to wait for videos like this to make sure the Pro even looks or runs better first, lol.

@Th3solution brother Marathon is bad, lol. Technically speaking it's exceptional. But it won't last given hardly anyone plays it a month later and this game will suffer the same fate. I would be shocked if this game even launched to half of what Marathon did and will die twice as fast.

Are we taking bets on whether this lasts longer than Marathon yet?

I'll wait. There are no shortage of games to play this summer anyways.

@RiverGenie it's one of the rare games they do better than anything on Playstation. Not enough to fork over for an Xbox. But enough to simply wait our turn.

I am pretty sure by 'reevaluate' she means looking at the millions AND millions of extra dollars of revenue and going "yeah this still makes sense" lol.

I'll wait till this comes to PS+. My summer is booked anyways.

Still gunna wait for reviews and gameplay to see if regular people can play this too. It does look stunning though.

We needed the failure of Ubisoft over the last few years to really give hope that the future might be bright again and that they can get back to true form. I feel like this is that first step in the right direction.

This trailer honestly moved me closer to day 1.

I am looking forward to jumping back in from years off to see if this is a game you don't have to give your life for to play...

With how hard Capcom has balled lately, think I might pick up Dragon's Dogma II now.

@nessisonett because the people adapting IPs aren’t creative or talented enough to write original content so they think if they just use a successful name and change everything about it that it will make them successful.

@Futureshark the animation style definitely helps carry it because it is done extremely well. The soundtrack slaps too.

The first season was ok. They did the same thing ever my Hollywood studio is doing. Taking a male IP and trying to trade a female protagonist. So Dante only gets maybe half the screen time for the girl boss who isn’t a terrible character, but isn’t a strong one either. This looks like it might shift the focus back to Dante which is the only reason fans are actually showing up. Some of the writing looks to be just as corny as season one though. It’s still a fun show to watch. Just don’t expect it to feel like the games if you’re a massive fan of those.

Yeah, Xbox didn't lower the price because they just decided to love their community, lol. They lowered the price because no one was going to pay that when most of their Day 1 first party games are mid to begin with. This is a move of defeat. I feel like PS doesn't have a ton of room to increase anymore themselves. It's not that just PS or Xbox went up, it's that EVERY streaming service is on the rise. So people are going to start deciding what they plan to keep because the price increases add up if you're using multiple services at a time.

I had no interest in Monster Hunter Stories, but seeing how much everything else they have done recently has banged, I think I might give it a shot and then hope Onimusha has a hoe's mode when it launches so I can play that too.

Damn. I guess Control needs to bump to the top of the current list then, lol.

I don't see this hitting. Elden Ring is a game thats best feature is actually playing it, not watching it.

@TheArt I would. And sure it is. Pointless can be defined, lol. And trophy hunting or thinking you get something out of a sports team winning more than simple enjoyment are equally pointless. So whether you enjoy hard platinums, or shovelware, they are equally pointless and to suggest one is better than the other, which is what most people here are doing, still make both pointless. And just because people do a lot of pointless things don’t make them any less pointless.

I never played the original Black Flag. Happened during a long hiatus from gaming in general. So I am eager to give it a first time go.

I already own HZD remastered so if you don’t I’d say this is a nice month for you personally. Forza is infinitely ether than Motorsport so I wouldn’t even bother with that. Football Club is a throw away. Lame month for me personally.
