Stunning indie explore-'em-up Dear Esther will sidle to the PlayStation 4 this summer, publishing house Curve Digital has announced. The game – originally developed by Everybody's Gone to the Rapture maker The Chinese Room – first put one foot in front of the other all the way back in 2012 on the PC. It went on to win a raft of BAFTA awards, and inspired the likes of Firewatch and Gone Home.
It's sure to be no less divisive when it strides onto Sony's new-gen system later this year, then – but seeing as this author's never played it, he couldn't be more hyped. Are you in the same boat? Walk with us in the comments section below.

thanks for getting that song stuck in my "neck -top computer" ("walk this WAAAAY !")
I'm with you, Sammy. I've always wanted to play Dear Esther... so I'm really hyped it's coming to PS4. Though I must say, it'd be great to have it on Vita, too.
[NOTE]: And no, remote play doesn't count ;0)
Super hyped - I have been wanting to play this since I finished Rapture. I heartily recommend the soundtrack too...
I've heard the title of this game hundreds of times but have no idea what its about. Does it have that same classic british sci-fi novel vibe?
Finally!!!
