In its third week on the market, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has risen to the top spot on the UK's physical games chart.
It debuted in third, moved down to fourth, and now resides in first position, with 94 per cent of the copies sold being the PS5 version. The game's breakout success continues apace.
Astro Bot has also jumped up, moving from seventh to third, while Assassin's Creed Shadows is up from fifth to fourth.
With GTA 6 hype through the roof after that second trailer, Grand Theft Auto V is back in the top 10 at number five.
Monster Hunter Wilds bounces back as well, moving all the way up from 24th to seventh.
One game moving down the chart is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, currently in ninth place; the PS5 version accounts for 98 per cent of the share of sales, which makes sense but is still an enormous majority.
Here's the latest top 10 in full (physical sales only).

Assassin's Creed Shadows is outselling GTA. What will the haters say now?
No Oblivion? That's really surprising actually. Been deep into it the past couple weeks and loving it
Love to see it! Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is wonderful. Astro Bot, Indiana Jones & AC: Shadows on there too.
Love seeing Astro bot charting
My guess is word of mouth continues to push Expedition 33 upwards, while something like Oblivion or other titles will sell continually, but their big pop came at launch.
I am one of those who will get Oblivion down the line, but saw no rush as I've had twenty years to play it; Expedition 33 however was new and priced fairly, so I had to dive in to support a new dev.
It would be nice to see more smaller teams get their flowers for a few weeks, let the larger market continue to expand its palate.
@BrockSmith This is physical only
@ErrantRob Oblivion is digital only. This chart is physical only. Given a minority of people buy physical games now it's not really representative of what's selling. Though obviously there's some correlation as we know COE33 is selling well. It would be good if they actually put in the sales figures - in Japan they do an games can sell quite poorly and be in the top 20. Japan's got twice the population of the UK more or less so it could be some of these top 10 games are selling like a couple of thousand.
The only thing that can kill GTA5 10+ years later is GTA6 π
For those who come after.
@BrockSmith me too, really surprised itβs not in the top 10! Feels like everyone I know is playing/played it since launch
"Almost entirely the PS5 version." That's because PS5 owners have to buy the game. Xbox owners can play it on Game Pass. Big difference. lol.
Finally finished Act 1 over the weekend and π³π³π³. Right now its itching to beating KC2 as my GOTY so far because its that good.
Easy. That's all I wanted to say lol.
@Romans12 Exactly! This article fails to mention that it's on Game Pass but is excited to highlight that 94% of sales are on PlayStation as a kind of brag.
Nice to see Astro Bot has nice long legs.
@Cres_Waven1 Oblivion was digital only that's why. So it's not included on this list.
@Romans12 Plus, even when Xbox gamers outright buy games, stats they pretty much only buy digitally any more. Lord knows I haven't in about 6 or 7 years. Not new games anyway
It was report that the highest percentage of expedition 33 players were on Xbox meaning the are playing it on gamepass or digital
@BrockSmith I believe this chart is for physical games. Not sure if Oblivion got a physical release
