So, GTA 6. Delayed into May 2026, and then breaking the internet with its second trailer. Rockstar never disappoints!
At the time of writing, said trailer has racked up an absurd number of views, and generated more "here's everything you missed" articles than you could ever possibly care to read. To be fair though, it is a pretty cool trailer, and gives us a more complete picture of GTA 6's direction and tone than ever before.
Rockstar has since confirmed that the footage was captured on a base PS5, through a mix of gameplay and cutscenes. A thoroughly impressive boast, given how good the open world title looks in terms of graphical fidelity.
But of course, the game's eye-popping visuals may come with a cost. Already, people are questioning if GTA 6 will be capped at a mere 30 frames-per-second on PS5 so that the system doesn't melt. Likewise, there are early concerns over just how colossal the title's file size could be.
Still, Rockstar probably the best track record in gaming when it comes to quality trailers. Every new promotional push is like an event in itself, and so it's easy to get caught up in all the buzz — potential worries aside.
