SoulCalibur 3 is still on track to release for PS5 and PS4 this year as a PS2 classic, the series' official social media accounts confirm.
There was some slight confusion over the timing, as the port was first announced alongside Tekken 3 — which was part of this month's PS Plus Premium update.
But again, SoulCalibur 3 will drop before the end of 2025. And yes, it'll launch straight onto PS Plus Premium — but it'll also be available to buy standalone.
So, it's either part of November's update, or it'll arrive in December. Extra and Premium's games are typically announced around halfway through any given month, with them being available to download on the following Tuesday.
We're probably looking at an 18th November date for SoulCalibur 3, or a 16th December date.
SoulCalibur 3 may not have enjoyed the same impact as its iconic predecessor, but it's still considered one of the strongest entries in Namco's weapon-based franchise.
