Antonblast, a Wario-inspired action platformer, is finally coming to PlayStation sometime next year.

The game launched on Switch and PC in late 2024, and quickly garnered favour with critics and players alike.

The port to PS5 and PS4 was announced during this Awesome Console Showcase:

Taking many of its cues from the Wario Land series, Antonblast is a fast-paced platformer with a heavy emphasis on destruction.

You blitz through each level, smashing everything in sight with a big hammer and building up momentum to clear stages in record time. Once you reach the end, it's a mad dash back to the start.

It also sports a Game Boy Advance-looking art style that looks very well accomplished, with big chunky outlines, lots of colour, and expressive characters.

This one looks to have lots of personality, and we're definitely interested to see what all the fuss is about when it arrives next year.
