Sonic and Sega All Stars 1+2 were amazing. I would love to know what/who caused the follow up to these acclaimed and very popular games to be Team Sonic Racing.

Those of us trying to stick to one gaming ecosystem had a very decent kart racer with as much to offer as most Mario Karts. So sad they dropped the ball.

As for this Disney Racer I have to say I have no interest, I also think the model for this game doesn't suit its target audience either. It'll flop hard long term I suspect.

Waiting on the redesign, hopefully not a fools errand. I just cannot stand the current design.

Battlefield 1943 was so much fun. Put literally 100 hours into it across PS3 and 360. Sad to see this day come. The simplicity of it is so rare these days.

The large majority of their games are niche so in turn probably meet niche like games sales numbers. I hope their smaller games as it were aren’t given up on. They could probably stand to make fewer of the smaller games, like there was a direct last year where they announced like 4-5 games I think, multiple of which were farm sims.

I had this issue when trying to download purchases directly after checkout while still in the store. If I went to my download list on PS3 via the transactions menu I had no issues at all.

Would rather see a fix for the store. It crashes or resets search parameters CONSTANTLY.

tbh it does push Sony to move, be it buying something like Square or it pushes them to actually create their own FPS. Now I have no interest in the COD series but hey who knows what Sony could bring to the table?

While I think it sucks you have to admit that there is probably a quite small playerbase for this. If all the DLC is brought forward then who else is left to buy it now?

Again I don't think this is a good enough excuse especially with more DLC on the way anyway. I guess it depends just how much money needs to be recouped for bringing these tables on the new engine.

Maybe a significant saving on each table somone had on the previous game should be offered. Like 75% off or something?

@JonTheGod OMG I never even considered how the detachable drive could in theory open up the avenues for full BC on PS5. Now I’m going to dream about this only to get disappointed dammit lol

I still play on my PS3 regularly and still buy things from the store (thank the gods it didn't close) so I hope Sony keep the system alive as long as possible.

Until Sony do a crazy all in one BC Playstation console then the PS3 if you can keep your launch console alive is a really nice bit of kit. With a launch PS3 and PS5 you can play 5 generations of home console gaming on just 2 systems.

I dearly wish though that the early PS5 rumours were true, would've been incredible to have a truly all in one Playstation. Wasn't even supposed to support Vita and PSP? lol.

The suits behind big companies chasing an ever decreasing market and money pool will never not confuse and amuse. Live service games that aren’t ftp are almost all going to fail. Making games like this that have a literally shelf life shorter than a generation is just a depressing vision for the industry.

Would’ve loved to see Rocksteady go back to something like Arkham Asylum with a new or even original ip. Truly was a special game, has there been a metroidvania like it since?

Legend of Dragoon is 9gb? Seems way larger than other PS1 games on PS4

The PSP version on the Vita store is cheaper, does it work like the PS1 games do if you buy the PSP verson?

The Front Mission remakes not coming to PS either is frustrating too.

@Cloud39472 Totally agree, I'm glad it's happening and I hope for the other PS3 games to come over as well but a port of Abyss, Destiny or Phantasia would've been far more exciting to start.

Also Square have sort of set a standard for this stuff and if these 'remasters' are going to be fairly basic then I hope we see 1 or 2 a year.

Any and all because without PS3 emulation so many great games are being left behind. Abyss and Phantasia would be my other choices.

Eternal Sonata would be nice too while they're at it.

Why do 80% of JRPG trophy lists require more than 1 playthrough? So much content to attach trophies to and yet this just keeps happening.

I don't mind personally. For one I play smaller indie games mostly but also we kinda know what they are working on anyway.

One of EA's greatest sins is not doing a sequel to Paradise, which is not only the greatest arcade racing game ever made but straight up one of the best games ever made period.

$550 for a system with even less games than the PS5. What a bargain.

Getting a game running at 60 fps should always be the priority before deciding to make a game more pretty. No excuse imo

Dust An Elysian Tail is also a really good metroidvania

Not losing sleep on things like this but if you have nothing new to announce it's probably not worth the trouble of celebrating a beloved franchise regardless of Anniversaries.

If you want to see how depressing this all is and even for the absolute top tier trophy collectors I recommend checking out the psnprofiles leaderboard. ViensDanser is No.1 in the world and his list is now nothing but these games. A really impressive profile once upon a time reduced to utter misery.

The speed at which some of these Platinums can be unlocked is madness. For example he unlocked the platinum in the JP version of 'Chicken Quiz' in just 13 seconds!!

Most of these games are beginning to make a new race to the bottom in how quickly a platinum can be achieved. The 'new' Pizza Fun (Logo the same as Pizza Run just changing a single letter) is apparently a sub 1 minute platinum.

Sony are ***** idiots for letting this ***** on the store. It has done irreversable damage to their trophy system and it has made the 'new games' part of their store a complete disaster which I now look at less and less and that has to be a trend across the board. I mean why would I bother to look when all that is going to be there is 90% complete trash.

Would it of killed them to do 1pm/4pm/9pm instead? The whole of Europe being screwed over.

I've had little interest in a PS5 thus far due in part to it looking truly awful and mostly to it seeming that unless you play the absolute top tier games then there is no reason to upgrade from a PS4 Pro at least.

Well I guess it was only ever going to be good or awful. Not my thing but I'm pleased for those who were interested in it that it seems to not be a disaster like it seemed it could've so easily of been.

@Dudditz09 imagine spending all that money on a new PS5, you go to the ps store and see an absolute avalache of exciting new titles like 'Pickle Run' and 'Jumping Noodles' or 'Jumping Noodles Turbo'.

It's only getting worse and worse. Serious Trophy hunters feel the need to buy everyone of these to keep up on PSNProfiles type leaderboards. As such more and more and more of these games are coming out.

It might feel easy to ignore but it's still a huge problem on so many levels. I mean these games are literally feeding off people's addictions to trophies.

These games have really urked me, I don't care that much about trophies but seeing the storefront littered with this crap is so disheartening when looking for new games.

PSNProfiles is an absolute disaster and you aren't even allowed to complain about these games on there. All posts showing distain for these titles gets deleted.

Do these companies ever step outside? Seriously NFT's have been met with widespread distain for a good year now at least.

These games are a cancer on the store page. Pizza Rush, Hamburger Jump, Turbo Fries and it is ***** endless. It makes the new release page of the store look so ***** cheap. Seriously Sony need to stop this crap from being on the store, it makes finding games you might actually want to play for fun rather than a quick platinum trophy so hard to find.

I have actually stopped looking at new releases as often because of these wretched games, it ruins the experience.

11/15, annoyed I got the Croc question wrong as I played that game a ton back in the day.

I doubt they have any interest in being purchased but Supergiant Games (Hades, Pyre, Transistor and Bastion) is a studio with an amazing track record and it would be interesting to see what they might make with a bigger budget.

Still they should probably remain independent.
