February 2023's PS Plus Essential games have been officially announced, and yes, this past weekend's leak was absolutely spot on.

There are four titles up for grabs, which you can add to your library from 7th February, 2023. Here's what subscribers can look forward to:

It's a fairly diverse lineup, isn't it? OlliOlli World gets an immediate recommendation from us — an excellent indie skater that's packed with personality and charm. And if that's not quite your thing, there's the fairly impressive Mafia: Definitive Edition — a full-on remake of the original wise-cracking, crime-capering PS2 title. Meanwhile, Evil Dead: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer release that's an especially good laugh with friends.

Elsewhere, Destiny 2: Beyond Light expands Bungie's shooter in some pretty significant ways, and might prove to be a solid introduction to Destiny 2 as a whole. With Destiny 2: Lightfall releasing later this month (not to be confused with 2020's Beyond Light, by the way), this could be a good time to dive in if you haven't already.

So, what do you think of February 2023's PS Plus games? Is this a solid lineup, or are you disappointed with the selection? Give us an honest opinion in the comments section below.
