A prequel story of how she (The last Giant) and Kratos met would be interesting. We already know she met Brok and Sindri and they made the Leviathan Axe for her. With it she fought Thor in Vanaheim, so that's has the potential to be a legendary fight.

The Pro offers a much beter (locked) framerate in Performance mode and turns the Balanced mode from 40 to 60fps with unlocked framerate.

DF seemed to miss that...

Features unlocked after 1 playthrough are always sh*t. Looking at you FF7 Remake and Rebirth, putting the Hard mode behind NG+..

Hot take: i don't care for NG+ and never will.

Time is money.

If an early access gets me the option to play on my days off instead of on launch date in my busy work week i will always consider it.

Should have had a 60fps mode at launch. Than they would have had a better launch/more sales.

Going from F2P to €40 was the moment it got my curiosity.
I have never played a F2P game more than 10 hours. They all feel underdeveloped, is if they didn't have a matching budget for their vision.

And of course the awful micro transactions where F2P games life from..

Yeah....not playing until the 60fps patch.

Playing with Crossplay off from day one, now 100 hours in and zero problems. I'm playing 90% of the time against real players.

Will play it when the game has an fitting/appropriate price (€40)

They really shot themselves in the foot with the €70 pricing.

@ShogunRok Is the pacing better than Daybreak? I couldn't bare the 80% talking/20% gameplay loop.

It was so dialogue heavy and mosty unvoiced. I eventually stopped playing it after 10-12 hours.

This demo is clearly 30fps, do you know anything about this?

30fps is unacceptable for a game like this.

The gameplay is just too simplistic for 2025 to earn higher than an 8 (Metacritic overall) or too pay €40

I'm waiting on combat gameplay. With the exception of Tales of Arise i never liked their combat system..

Last remaster i tried had a weird 2D combat system instead of just free walking/fighting. You could only move horizontal??

Asian devs have been cooking the last couple of years and it seems like they are not stopping 😎

@Blauwe_Chimay I still play BFV every week with the squad. BF4, 1 and V were excellent games with a good community to this day. I tried 2042 and you could feel the culture change. I'm hoping 6 wil bring back the O.G's and drive away the CoD k/d campers.

I'm not sold on the "Pick Ten" system, but we will see how it will play out. I'm just hoping they can create that overwhelming feeling 1 and V created. Large maps which are alive and flags that you can approach from every angle so you can make it tactical.

The performance issues and overall lack of polish are a bummer. I was hoping to play this at launch.

Guess i will wait for a couple of post launch fixes..

@lazarus11 I just think the gaming world is better off without him, for both our sakes. The decisions made with TLoU2 were the worst decisions they/them could ever make and his smug and arrogant reactions in the media made it all worse.

Seeing his name and E33 combined in this article is upsetting. I don't want him anywhere near the possible GOTY of 2025. A big reason why the game is a GOTY contender is because it doesn't have a Neil Druckmann at the head.

Bad decision to put the hardest difficulty behind NG+. I'm not playing a linear game twice if the only difference is difficulty..

I don't get NG+ in most games.
You start with everything you can collect in your 1st playtrough, so whats the point/goal of your 2nd journey..

I rather have less pretty graphics and 60fps gameplay. This is probably going to be 30fps and that is unacceptable in 2026.

Euh....why?

Never got Speed Runners or "gamers" who exploit glitches or bugs.

You can become lvl 100 stealth in the opening of Oblivion....that takes away the whole purpose of playing the game.

If i wanted to play with PC and mobile people i would buy/play the game there.

Turing crossplay Off is the first thing i do in many games.

@Teldoestofu Clair Obscure Parry window is very small and late. Once i started parrying "too late" it worked.

Bethesda remains one of the worst developers.

This means an instant buy and probably a GOTY contender

This solves most of the downsides i experienced with the game

8.4, closer to an 8 than a 9.

A couple of basic functions are missing which were present in previous games

• Meditate for day/night
• Auto follow for the horse
• Mark and sell all for gear, now you have to sell each item individually. It takes a lot of time
• No blood drops on the floor when sheating weapon
• There is 1 sensitivity instead of 2.
  I want 1 for looking,1 for aiming.
• And last there are a couple of bugs, 2 examples: The low res chests and the coming alive of assasinated enemies (it's a miracle!)

@IssyVeedz Of course you rate the game as it is now. But i know they are going to tweak the loot system and inconsistent balancing/combat.

The story is a shame.

But the mission structure is like Nioh, so that structure was clear from the demo. So i am at peace with that.
