The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is over a decade old, but even so, it's getting a brand new expansion next year, Songs of the Past, and our first chance to see it arrives next month.
As it does every year, Gamescom takes place in late August, and it always kicks things off with Geoff Keighley's Opening Night Live showcase.
It's already been announced that Songs of the Past will be present at Gamescom, but Keighley has now announced it'll be part of the opening presentation too.
Very little has been said about the PS5 expansion (no PS4 version) so far. CD Projekt Red has said Songs of the Past will "return players to the role of legendary monster slayer Geralt of Rivia for a brand new adventure", and that's pretty much it.
Obviously, it looks like we'll finally get some new information in a matter of weeks.

The studio has implied that Songs of the Past will be of a similar size and scope to Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, so it should be pretty substantial.
