Guess you cant change to the age of digital my friend you gotta stick with the discs, which is why physical games cant die. Lots of people dont have internet or have the means to go all digital. Corona virus also helped drive people to pick digital over physical. One day it will be back to normal.

I tried playin all three never finished any of them. What ticked me off was the horrible driving experience of rover on the moon experience. Story wise pretty good. Called it romance but you never get to see anything dirty. They should make a kid version and mature adult softcore porn version but probably dumb parents would buy the 2nd for their kids like call of duty games. Why is there even a rating board when parents are that dumb?

Lmao lists first party ps5 exclusives yet they also come out on ps4 and pc. I only see bugsnax as the real launch game.

For $15 a month people who have netflix subs which isnt much, you get to play day 1 exclusives, third party games get added eventually, access to 100+ games and games that leave are replaced by new games all the time. You also get access to pc and android. Free xbox live gold and now EA play coming in december. 20% off on games if you decide to keep it.

At first i wasnt on the train but after i did my research it made a lot of sense. This thing beats ps plus and playstation now even if sony were to offer both as a bundle. Sony lost guys and it wasnt the console war.

Sony doesnt understand that console gaming in japan is niche and everyone already switched to mobile market which is how nintendo switch is doing better than ps4 in japan because handheld is closer to mobile than home console gaming that you cant take with you. Now if sony released the vita 2 and stuck with it instead of letting it die would be another story.

Hmm i also found out they took away all the cheats, exploits and glitches. Guess speed runners wont be beating it the same way anymore.

825 gb ssd is such an odd number to start at. Since usually it goes 500gb, 1TB, then 2TB.
Xbox ssd is a bit slower but that 1TB makes up for it and also they have $220 1TB nv.me expandable memory at launch meanwhile sony doesnt have anything to expand it.

So i saw a news article from another site that explained it to me and they said if you get the ps4 miles morales you will have an option to buy spiderman remastered ps4 version via $20 upgrade. And spiderman remastered will not be sold as a stand alone game. Seems like how activision sold modern warfare remastered at the beginning together with cod i cant remember which version. But later i know it was given out as a ps plus game standalone so i know its probably a timed exclusive for sony to sell it as a bundle.

Good job sony you had something that worked but took two steps back this time and made it worse like firmware 8.0 on ps4.

@LemonHaze umm yea the point is if you can barely afford $500 and cant buy a 4ktv that the price came down considerably at under $1000 maybe you shouldnt be gaming? Pick a new hobby that isnt that expensive. I saw some people only play one game an entire console cycle like d2 or fortnite and i was puzzled as i probably played 4000 titles thru ps4 xb1 nsw and pc. I wonder if they are upgrading to ps5 to continue to play that one game.

@markkoo im with you too i bought my tv last year thinking the company said they would support all their 2019 oled tvs for hdmi 2.1 through a firmware update til i found out the 2019 tv i bought was a 2018 model. Damn amazon third party scammers.
I guess ill either have to fork out another $5000 for 8Ktv or just deal with it an play 4K60fps hopefully.

@Nepp67 nah 1440p is 2K sony was pretty much lying when they advertised ps4 pro was doing 4K but its funny that it wasnt even doing native 1440p its was 1080p upscaling. Man i feel scammed cause i bought one.

Nah id be surprised if it could run 4K 120 fps. The specs inside ps5 is more equal to a gtx 1660 graphics card from nvidia which struggles to get above 4K60fps. And 8K is just another pipe dream as itll probably run 8K 20 fps or something like that. I wonder if its upscaled 8K because even native 4K is hard to reach. Im surprised that ps4 pro couldnt even do native 1440p. All this time it was upscaled 1080p. Id believe they would intend to run ps5 at upscaled 1080p 120 fps.
1440p 100+ fps pc players was the norm last gen.
If console makers didnt make the leap to try to catch up to pc standard we would probably just be staring at a ps5 thats only capable of being a nintendo switch. people that spent over $5000 on their gaming rig to play 4K@60fps werent that many last gen. Most pc players were 1440p 144 fps players like myself.

I still have trouble taking apart dualshock 4 controllers to clean when they get analog stick drift. Sony should just close them up tighter so dust dont get inside.

Technically anime games that arent action games or fighting games dont really need 60 frames per second. 30 fps to 60 fps wont really be noticeable when playing turn based rpgs.

Anyone know if their 3d audio will support backwards compatible games? Id replay re2 remake again if they did.

Most gamers know what they want. The sheep that gets swayed are the parents and the naivete kids that "borrow" mommies credit cards. I use gamestop if i forget to preorder a game online and hope to score a extra copy a store may have in stock or looking to buy a game used if i was on the fence of a day 1 buy. I honestly hate gamestop and when i go into their store it looks like a comic book store than a game store cause of the comic book figures apparels and the damn funco pops. Somehow they got microsoft to carry them i guess cause the microsoft stores havent been doing well. So gamestop gets a cut of the potential sales and microsoft gets a distribution center thru gamestop.
Makes me want to support microsoft less but im gettin both consoles so i dont care.

Honestly i never liked the private party feature. Just boot the person that joins your chat if you dont like them. Ive had so many times my friends would have a chat private from me just because they forgot to set it on public and id miss out on important discussions all because sony had to change the previous party chat functions.
While individual message party invites seem annoying im glad they changed the private party chats back to what it used to be. But is it true people that never joined your chat before can read a log of your past chat history? That seems pretty bad.

@Turbodream thats the day i stop being a sony pony and move my money to the pc. I know you cant get banned for having a potty mouth and they just use mature language filters so foul words come out as BLAM! Sony should just use that so we can swear freely as we want. Banning you for voice chat is a new low. Why not ban game developers as well you know for how many F bombs voice actor for barret said during his role in Final Fantasy 7 Remake? Sony is just trying to make themselves kid friendly to appease the soccer moms yet they still allow games that have surprised mechanics that promote gambling. I had 4 xbox 360s that red ringed at launch and later i learned they were doomed to fail out of the factory until they changed the design for the slim but i had 4 free controllers since i sent each one back.
For ps3 i had the yellow light of death. And also the launch ps3 that got hotter than a george foremen grill that you could eggs on top of.
Then my ps4 just became a large paper weight when it bricked due to one of the firmware updates screwing it up.

I never had problems with xbox one or the ps4 pro so i think as time advances so does the hardware.
Some people still so scared of launch units but i think its gotten better over the years.

Funny thing i dont remember it being a problem on my ps3 because geez maybe people dont need to look at the time on their console if they wear a watch on their wrist or have an actual clock on the wall?

Do you know if you get the digital ps4 version of the game if it lets you get the spiderman remaster as well or is that only for ps5 version of ultimate? Cause i didnt see a ultimate version of the ps4 version.
Would be cool if ps4 had miles morales and vanilla spiderman and it let you upgrade to ps5 miles morales and the remaster spiderman for ps5. But then again i heard only the ps4 miles morales save can transfer to ps5 version but save isnt compatible for OG to remaster.

@I_Like_It trust me theyre only playing it because of the new expansion dlc is about to come out. If it was any other day you would rarely see anybody on. I had 8 pages of friends when d2 first launched. After every dlc they shrunk all the way down to 1 or 2 pages. Ima guess what will happen to the next 10 yrs of content bungie promised.
I just want to play the savathun dlc and maybe see what the remastered OG D1 raids will look like. VOG and Kings fall better be good. Maybe ill download D1 again if d2 bores me.

Actually they said the faster menu due to ps5 custom ssd nv.me will be noticeable without the next gen update. The other stuff like fov slider and 60 fps comes out dec 8th. Ive been using samsung EVO 860 SSD on my ps4 pro for the past 2 yrs so i probably wont notice much of a difference i think. But maybe you guys will, it was pretty fun when i would load into raids before the whole team and then id be doing nothing for 5-10 mins pretty much. Also i get a head start on strikes its really baffling

Having no playable side characters will mean the game will be very short. I expect it being able to be beaten in 4 hours.
