Psvr has too many wires and my room isnt big enough to not look like a mess. I hear oculus quest is wireless... why cant sony make that for psvr 2? Id totally jump on that if it had no wires mess and better 360 tracking with controllers like htc vive. The move controllers are really bad.

Same. Everytime people made a post about some psn discount promotion, ive never gotten one in the email that were supposedly given out. Ive been subscribed to newsletters and promotions for 15+ years but it always seems to skip my email for the good stuff.

@Bobskie77 Amazon is running a deal where you get ps4 version of watch dogs legion for $50 with free upgrade to ps5. I dont see how you would want to wait for a sale when black friday is right around the corner. I doubt you will see a price drop after black friday. Id suggest you get on that before the game releases on oct 29. Itll probably go back up to 60 after release

I think they said only 10 games were incompatible with the ps5 backwards for ps4 games and most of them were indies i never heard of. I think the ps plus collection are probably those greatest hits games for ps4 like days gone and god of war remastered. Maybe theyre not adding ps plus monthly games for ps5 but giving us the collection instead. I dont see them giving out free ps5 games at launch because well there arent any to give out at the moment.

Wish sony did backwards compatibility for ps1, 2 and 3. The only reason i dont think they did it was probably to push their garbage playstation now subscription. I have so many good games from the ps2 era id love to go back to. I kept shadow hearts, shinobi, MS saga, front mission, parasite eve 2.... guess ill have to stick to my ps2 emulator on the pc..

Ill probably keep buying ps4 versions that come with the free ps5 upgrade. It aint worth buying $70 games especially when these companies also want to charge extra for dlc and mucro transactions on top of that.
Ill wait for the inevitable sales after 2 or 3 months.
People who say people are going towards digital and physical should go away but are probably be happy paying full price and getting stuck with a game they dont like.

4K 60 for me as ray tracing doesnt do much for me. All it adds is light and shadows with reflections in the water.

Im hoping kojima makes his own version on PT or some silent hill asthetic type game. Also fingers crossed he makes his own version of metal gear solid cause screw konami with metal gear survive.

@deathaxe well preorder bonus are usually by email. I think theyll deliver some psn code for you to redeem on their store.

Kinda useless for me as i already have a 4K smart TV that has these apps like youtube netflix amazon prime spotify disney plus. Honestly isnt this what xbox one tried to do? Make it a media machine with cable etc. Dunno why ps5 needs to put this bloatware on their console. Did netflix and youtube pay sony to advertise for them?

Im still on the fence on this game but ill probably end up getting it. Although i dont know if ill finish it cause i got demons souls and miles morales ultimate edition. Also watch dogs legion and cyberpunk 2077... gonna be a hurdle to play all of em

A buddy of mine said they already have ps5 in the target location he works at. 16 units he says but i dunno if they are for preorder customers or if they are units you can buy at launch day without preordering. Ima go ask the manager i guess

Sony didnt acquire full rights to use the voice actors for marvel movies.

It was made by crystal dynamics the people who make tomb raider games. Would have been better to make insomniac games do it instead with their success of marvel spiderman.

Also live service models are gross. It means they can release broken games and fix it over time with little to no updates. Just look at Anthem and Fallout 76 a pile of hot garbage.

Im going to make fun of everyone on my list that couldnt get a ps5 this holiday. Either they poor, wait to upgrade or downright werent resourceful enough to get a preorder. Hehe

Lot of sony ponies here which is why im neutral. Ive always gone with both playstation and xbox so i dont take sides in console wars, i just enjoy the best of both worlds. I feel like sony has the best first party games next to nintendo but third party games run better on xbox. As for buying up studios sony kinda pushed microsoft in that direction buy making exclusive deals etc. Microsoft had too much money so it was between getting bethesda and buying tiktok. Im glad they werent really dumb with that purchase. I just hate how they are supporting gamestop.. dumb move guys...

All these people expecting boost mode etc with these unknown patches are in for a real treat because sony isnt known for that stuff. Probably some trophy update or more security patches. Snore..

Its cause sony is a greedy company. They want the publisher tax so they dont make games go on sale for long periods of time. This is one of the reasons i dont go full digitial on playstation cause ridiculous charging of full price even after three years. Sometimes waiting for physical release is better and i feel sad for people that bought the digital ps5 because you dont have a choice now.

The second time was a lot less because i heard the gamestop employees themselves were scalping. Like at my friends store hes a employee and he told me they would let him get one but the store manager and assistant store manager both preordered all the 27 disc ps5 units they had available and left one digital for the customers. They told my friend that their intentions were to scalp for $800-$1000 a pop. Being a gamer myself i hate scalpers cause they will scam you if they get the chance.

Well sony is off to a bad start because they want to sell that many units but most people couldnt even pre order one so im guessing there was a false unit count of how many they wanted to make versus to how many they actually had to sell. If they really had more than ps4 launch units then scalpers wouldnt be this rampant this holiday season. Make tons of units would deter them from trying to scalp.

Or just buy them physically on sale for dirt cheap. Ps store sales are rarely discounted and when the sale ends they go back up to full price.

Im just wondering if all future bethesda titles wont be exclusives to the xbox. Cause i want fallout 5, elder scrolls 6 and skyrim 2. Ive always gone with playstation but this time im getting both to explore what xbox has to offer. Game pass is really good. Sony could bundle playstation now for free with ps plus but i dont know if they would go for it

Yea i had it as a ps plus game and even then i didnt bother replaying it cause i knew they were just trying to get people to buy the old hunters dlc add on.

Vampyr looks like a ps3 game so i never bothered buying it even on a sale. Kinda like that game with the werewolf hunters that sony made forgot the title. Havent had a worthwhile ps plus game because every time id buy a game during a ps sale the same game would get added to ps plus a few months later. Like whats the point in buying games. If i can just wait a month or two and get it for free. Id rather have sony have bigger discounts on the digital store than get bad games for free.
50-80% discounts would make me go full digital over physical purchases. The only other reason i dont go digital is because I got banned last time and i lost $5000 worth of digital games for my potty mouth. Physical games for me i guess cause i know sony cant steal em from me.

I loved the story of watch dog aiden pearce. The hipster no kill attitude in watch dogs 2 was god awful but gameplay was decent. I dunno if this is watch dogs 3 but legion looks like those fun spin off game like how saints row was to grand theft auto series. They also have dlc about recruiting the legendary aiden pearce so i may look into getting it at some point.

If there is a ps4 version it would probably run worse than the trailer. Imagine being locked at sub 30 fps in the year 2021? Lmao

Most of these games are also on ps4 and pc so i only see like two exclusives ...

This is sony trying to eliminate backwards compatibility and push their garbage playstation now gimmick. Whats wrong with the ability to purchase older games through their psn store on newer consoles?

Guys dont worry about upgrading storage size right now. The v-nand technology is still new so early adopters have to pay butt loads of money to get mediocre size increases. Just wait like 3 or 4 years down the line and on black friday you will see price drops. I myself will wait until 4TB are affordable at sub $200 ranges. Right now lots of company sell high price to gigabyte ratio so its better to wait.
