PS5 will very likely be the last PlayStation I ever purchase. Between the news today, the reported high cost, the disinvestment into the the types of games I like, poor management of studios, and the overall parade of poor decisions over the last 5-6 years. I'll likely just stick with ps5 and maybe get a pc years down the line.

@SBBuds the dog quest takes awhile but there’s always a waypoint marker for it, for where you’re supposed to go. Maybe you didn’t have it toggled active?

Man, PlayStation legitimately sucks lately.

@SBBuds what is it you needed to look up? As soon as you’re out of the tutorial it gives you a few quests to get started with.

@SBBuds the only thing I’ve googled was what some of my dice pieces specifically did. Other than that no, I haven’t needed to. The game gives you visible way points on where you should be going.

@-wc- give it a rest dude. Go find something remotely important to cry about.

Do we think Microsoft sells Xbox to the Saudi’s before or after the new year?

@SBBuds not sure what you mean. I have at least 50 hours in this game and haven’t used a guide or walkthrough once.

Currently playing through this right now. Easily one of my favorite games in recent years

Why couldn’t they have just been put on the Last of Us 2 multiplayer that was cancelled?

No longer a day one buy for me. If they’re gonna cheapen the experience I’ll wait for a sale.

I’m currently on premium but that’s only because the price difference between it and extra was minuscule. Regardless, premium needs to be better. Much better in fact

If they close Bend I’m cancelling my Wolverine preorder and will stick with third party releases for the foreseeable future. I know I alone won’t make a lick of difference, but I’m tired of supporting this company’s errors. I want new single player experiences, and until they start investing in them again, I’ll give my money to companies who do.

God of War does seem a lot closer to release than I initially thought. Sooner the better

Gonna be tough to balance time between all these games. Especially two open world survival games. Highly interested in Valheim but RuneScape, releases on PS+ just a short time afterwards, so my time will likely reserved for that, and Halloween. Plus whatever single player games I end up going with.

It’s honestly overwhelming how much good stuff is coming to PlayStation in the near future. September alone there are 7 games I’m interested in. Thankfully one of them, RuneScape, is day one on PS+

They were all pretty equal for me. I voted for Xbox’s but my announcement of the week was Until Dawn 2

Clockwork makes some sense to me but making Gears exclusive after bringing the first one to PlayStation rubs me the wrong way. Regardless, there was nothing they could have announced today that would make me even consider buying an Xbox console again, but I’ll gladly play Fable, State of Decay 3, and Grounded 2 when they come to PlayStation

I love Gears, but there’s literally nothing Xbox could do to get me to buy an Xbox ever again. That ship has long sailed.

Started strong, but in true Keighly fashion sputtered out towards the final half. Glad FF7 is wrapping up so we can hopefully stop hearing about it.

Would have liked to seen a few more indies but overall really happy. Just really hope GOW and Heretic Prophecy are 2027 games

Interesting. Because the last event they did they didn’t show PlayStation logo’s despite most games also coming to the platform.

@MrPeanutbutterz it’s not just the industry. Consumers are just as much to blame. No one wants to spend money on games and the majority rather just play free to pay brainless trash

Shaping up to possibly be the least interesting month in the services history in regards to my personal taste

This has been such a continuous disaster of leadership this generation that all you can really do is laugh/cry at this point. Been completely bailed out by lack of competent competition, third party output, and coasting of former prestige.

It’s honestly sad how much people who supposedly enjoy video games continuously root for, and celebrate their failures.

Really wish Sony invested even a fraction of effort it did into live service, into VR. Hard for something to be successful when it was treated the way it was .

Warhammer is hella fun. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t. Looking forward to trying out Astroneer and Return to Moira

Do these two have game trials yet? If not than that’s more likely. But if they get added to extra that’s pretty exciting

I did notice the original Abandoned was recently added to the “Games to Wishlist” section on the psn app. I had a good chuckle to myself over that one

@DTfearTheBEARD I’ve got my copy preordered from GameStop. Between all the games and stacked movie lineup us horror fans are definitely eating good

Yawn. Incredibly disappointing.

This trailer was definitely one of the standouts of the show for me.
