Unfortunately the more I see of this game the less interested I’ve become. Hoping it reviews well.

There were a couple great announcements, but overall it was another pretty lame show in my opinion. Mafia: The Old Country and Indiana Jones coming to PS5 are probably my highlights. Indie wise I’m very excited to see more of Reanimal. Directive 8020 looks awesome as well, but I didn’t actually see it announced while watching the show for some reason but just saw it posted online.

I appreciate what Geoff tries to do. But it’s been years and he’s yet to put on a single show I’d consider good.

The fact the developers have said they had to scale back the game to compensate for the Xbox Series S has really tarnished my hype for this one. Looking forward to seeing more though

I really enjoyed TP Hospital but haven’t tried Campus yet. Museum setting sounds far more appealing than the two previous games so I’m very excited to give this a go.

Both look cool but I personally have zero interest in another platformer currently. Maybe in October I’ll feel different though

Whose fault is that? As the saying goes buyer beware. Think of all the games we could have gotten for 3 billion dollars from studios like Ember Labs, Supermassive, Quantic Dream, etc. Everyone knew it was a bone headed acquisition the day it was announced.

@Kidfunkadelic83 Assuming you meant Planet Zoo, if so, in my experience it is much more about creating things from scratch than Planet Coaster. If you’re on Reddit, I found the Planet Coaster subreddit immensely helpful in learning how to play better

Surprised it’s releasing this year since Planet Zoo just came out a few months ago. But this’ll be another day one buy regardless. Can’t wait.

Absolutely trash that this game is releasing on the Nintendo switch but not the PS4. Skipping it for that reason alone.

Gahh I still have my PS2 copy from when I was a kid. Absolutely day one buy for me.

@LikelySatan that’s definitely exaggerated, but the grind and micro transactions are both predatory af. For example, Agent Smith. No normal person will accomplish the tasks required to unlock him for free. So the grind is technically a ruse to make you think you can get him for free by just playing the game.

Definitely a generous review in my opinion.

I’m gonna stick with it for a bit, but somehow the game feels cheaper and less polished than it did in beta. Also not happy about the gold I saved for new characters being taken away without some type of compensation in return. The new stages are cool though, and I like the addition of Jason and Agent Smith. I’m excited to see who gets revealed next, I just hope they don’t flood us with more DC characters.

Absolutely not. Feels like all there’s been is games from Square Enix and other eastern studios. Which normally would be great but has had a negative effect on my interest in things like Final Fantasy and even Death Stranding 2. I miss the days of getting stuff like Detroit Become Human, Order 1886, and Until Dawn.

Yawn. Honestly think the lack of new IP from their internal teams is actually making me less interested in the franchises and sequels I was once in love with. Even the rumors of GoT 2 being announced soon isn’t really doing it for me.

Still haven’t seen any justification for the price increase. We’ve actually been getting significantly less games the last few months than we were before. I also feel like the games that they have been offering have been of lesser quality as well.

Honestly pathetic. Seems like they’ve announced more cancelled games than they’ve actually released the last two years and for good measure let’s add an entire studio closure on top.

Both quantity and quality has been slipping since the price increase imo.

Totally fine with this since I’ll be playing Helldivers 2 instead anyways. But I’m curious why any game would release without a platinum in the first place. Even if niche, trophy hunters are very much a thing. Including a platinum would have absolutely resulted with more players especially releasing on PS+

Besides what Bethesda does this is really the only franchise from Xbox I’d really care about. Would love to platinum the first 3 on PlayStation

Usually a big fan of the games Devolver publishes but nothing here really interests me besides the Plucky Squire.

Whole thing seems like a ridiculous waste and honestly a bit embarrassing for Sony. How many devs does it really take to work on a game like this after release? Surely a studio with the pedigree of naughty dog could’ve brought in some support studio to continue supporting it with post launch content to allow them to jump back into single player games. Firesprite brought in Fabrik Games shortly after themselves being acquired by Sony.

Trying to be optimistic here but there’s a good chance we don’t see either of these until around the PS6.

Not a bad month for me, as there’s at least 5/6 games I’m interested in playing. I still think premium needs to diversify and stop adding groups of games from the same series all at once. But let’s be honest. They could give us Alan Wake 2, Baldurs Gate 3, & Spider-Man 2 all in one month and people would still find a reason to complain about something. I would be interested in seeing users here make a mock list of 15 games they would add to Extra if they had their choice to gauge expectations.

I was kinda down on the newest look at Rise of the Ronin for some reason.

I definitely don’t think it deserved GOTY but I thought it had a good chance of winning best action/adventure. I think it was definitely snubbed from not being included on the best action game ballot tho.

I really think Sony messed up not acquiring this studio. They make absolutely great games that are just lacking a little bit of something, and cohesiveness that I think Sony complimented and mostly solved. Until Dawn was peak Supermassive imo, but The Quarry was close to a return to form. Either way, I’m excited to see what this games all about. I just hope they haven’t abandoned The DPA and we get some news on Directive 8020 soon too.

Leaks 99% of the time suck. Its nobody’s looking for fame off other peoples hard work. Stuff like this is why I wish publishers and developers would stop giving access to their games early to anyone with a YouTube channel.
