As someone who's lost the 50/50 in ZZZ about 8 times in a row I'm all too well aware of what Gacha heartbreak is.

@RBMango This my thought too. I've got a theory that Wolverine will be announced at Evo because it makes so much sense. Sony are making a Wolverine game after all and with how important it he was to the history of Marvel vs Capcom, him been announced there would bring the house down.

I mean Sony did just release a 1st party game for it this week .

@BearsEatBeets When I used to play with my nephew as a duos team, I always took goal cos he was the better finisher and I was the best defender.

@DaveTheRave I don't know if it was but I remember that they had to let a lot of people go and the future just didn't look good for awhile.
Just had a quick Google. Over 5 years ago they closed off their American offices which put a lot of doubt into future western releases.

It's great to see Level 5 having success again when for awhile they looked dead on there feet.

I would love for PS to do an article where they compare Sony's 1st party output from PS4 to PS5 because I bet aside from some small games, the cadence of single player AAA games is pretty much the same.

The choices were a bit too broad for me. For me TLOU2 is an incredible in almost every aspect except arguably in it's most important feature... it's story is a terrible sequel to TLOU1.

@PuppetMaster It wouldn't surprise me if Bluepoint or Valkyrie are making it to be honest.

They say "PS5 has no games" because they discount anything that's 3rd party, cross gen and on PC.

What's always baffled me is why Sony didn't try to port their PSVR1 games. Titles like Iron-Man, Astro Bot, Wipeout and Blood and Truth all left behind.

@Toot1st You mean the PC was in all but name? Most will just stick with PC and go with PlayStation for their console fix.

It just comes off as desperate. Can you imagine Sony or Nintendo putting out a random video talking about there next gen plans long before it's due?

@twitchtvpat I know it's like people conveniently forget that delays are good when it isn't a single player game.

@get2sammyb Apparently Sony recently listed Bungie as a PS Studio in their business meeting so if that's the case then it's possible that they will take complete control of the studio and actually get it into shape.

We just need a Human Revolution retelease now.

Besides your assuming Sony are making a handheld that has it's own library which it won't be, it'll just be a way to play your PS5 games handheld.

This is reaching a bit isn't it? Push Square's core audience rarely engage with live service articles (other then to moan). There's little to no interest in the Patapon remasters either, would that be worth writing an article about.
I love this site I do but come on if it actually represented the whole core PlayStation community then Astro Bot would be 10m + seller by now.

@Lowdefal Pretty much what I was going say. Steam Decks showed that there is a market albeit not a huge one where a handheld that plays your pre-existing library is a compelling prospect.

I'm excited at the prospect but as weird as this sounds, I don't want it to play PS6 games natively. Reason been that it will add to the cost, battery life will be atrocious considering Steam Decks barely last that long anyway. And it seriously runs the risk of being a Xbox Series S situation where it ends up been a handicap to the PS6.
Keep PS6 titles as cloud games and use PS5 as the benchmark.

Are people just incapable of reading between the lines now?

With Marvel Tokon taking on a anime style, maybe Sony can test the waters with some PlayStation guest characters in that style.

It was always naive that Sony would ditch live service games just because Concord backfired. What they need to do is target genres where there is gaps in the market.

This opens the door for a future Silent Hill 3 remake too since that's a lot more connected to the first game.

So PC gamers weren't that fussed for God of War, Spider-Man, Horizon or Ghost of Tsushima but Stellar Blade is the one they flocked too? Okay.

@Shepherd_Tallon That was the rumour, upper management said to John Garvin "What about returning to Syphon Filter?" But he turned it down.

The best thing for Bend right now would be to make a Days Gone sequel cos I think anything else might risk the studio's future at this point.

@Paleblood Upper management of Bend didn't want to make another Days Gone due to the team not been happy with the game's directors. The directors were offered a Syphon Filter Reboot but the director turned it down because he didn't want to go back.

This is an "Xbox handheld" in the same way that I am Chris Hemsworth. I mean you can claim it but it still doesn't make it true.

Bet that was an awkward moment when Skybound and MS saw Marvel Tokon.

Like I said in a previous article, I was astonished at how much was missing from the show. It doesn't reflect well on those that were criticising Sony for their studio's no show when they could and should have had way more to show.

Interesting observation, I was watching Maximilian Dood's stream and he was getting annoyed at how many games had licenced songs so he had to mute it. It's something I think publishers should probably think about going forward because streamer reactions can be a great source of free marketing in itself.

All I'll say is people have a bloody cheek to criticise Sony for not showing their studio's games. Meanwhile Xbox had

Some indie games looked cool like Felt That but no PS5 confirmation yet.

@fatewalker Tbh I've been the same except I can't get my head around how people thought the SoP was bad.

C Viper is long overdue and I'm glad Alex is back, hopefully he's more fun then he was in SFV.

@SMJ So what if it's going to Xbox, it doesn't diminish it.
Sony's 1st party output was on average about 2 to 3 games a year during the PS4 and that hasn't really changed for PS5.

@Keyblade-Dan Jubilee would be hype, of course people will want fan favourites but if they can add some classic X-Men characters then it'll make a lot of people happy. Wolverine is virtually a guarantee considering Sony's involvement with this and making his own game.
