@Judal27 I had to grind like mad to get Vivian and even then it took me to spending real money (last time I'm doing that).
Hopefully with all the free drops and polychromes coming for the anniversary I can get the 50/50 early but my luck has not been good for awhile now.

Funny how things turned out, when the deal was announced it was seen as disastrous for PlayStation but all it ended up doing was hasten MS's move to a third party publisher. It's what they should have done when they bought Bethesda.

I will never fathom how "engagement" is more a metric of success for a priced game then raw sales.

I still maintain that Sony owning Bungie can work out well but they really need to take over the management because there's been far too many horror stories about the running of the place.

@AverageGamer Except back in the day there was an element of truth to it when all Xbox had was Halo, Gears and Forza. The same can't be said about PlayStation.

@ButterySmooth30FPS It's because people keep pushing this narrative that PS5 has "no games" which gets bloody tedious. So some like to take swipes at the "opposition".

It makes me appreciate how well Hoyo do ZZZs updates without any significant bugs.

That's basically the Vita post 2013, it wasn't selling and Sony needed everyone to be on PS4 because it was critical they got all there studios onto it.

I will never understand the mentality people have when a game gets labeled "live service" they automatically assume it's "trash."

I hope FF7 part 3 is still timed exclusive to PS5 because I don't trust Square Enix to do a multiplatform release without it been heavily compromised on a technical level.

What an existential crisis someone is going to have when they try to buy a game but there face is rejected.

With Tati Gabrielle playing Nora, her scene with Ellie is a neat link between Naughty Dog's past and future.

@RubyCarbuncle I remember every time I went into deep water the game crashed without fail. And this was long after the game's release.

Virtuoso did such a great job remaking Oblivion that they kept Bethesda's bugs.

There are a handful of games that I think can get away with the price hike but I don't think B4 is one of them.

I think the declining console sales are more likely to do with people waiting for Switch 2 as well general apathy towards Xbox.

Something I noticed with that last trailer was that right at the end they show a flashback that seems like you can swap between that and present day in real time, which could be an interesting mechanic.

Funny how Sony get criticized for remasters yet here is Microsoft remastering Gears 1 for the second time.

I love how the soundtrack is themed around who the main character is. In Tsushima Jin played a flute, so the music had a lot of wind instruments.
And now with Atsu using a stringed instrument, the music is much more focused on those.

@RBRTMNZ Core gamers usually prefer smaller maps because we are more likely to be "completionists" so when you have games like AC Valhalla it can feel tedious to do all that stuff we mostly regard as pointless filler.
Where's a more casual crowd are more likely to feel that they get more bang for their buck, especially with the price for games these days.

I'm more waiting for Lucy to arrive in Guilty Gear Strive.

I've never known such a high profile game to have leaked as much as it has before it's officially announced. You'd think Bethesda would make a bigger deal about rather just stealth launch it.

The "BOY" mic drop in the level still makes me laugh.

Don't know if I'd be interested in a Belle statue. Now if they did a Nicole, Jane or Caesar.

For those that are wanting a sequel, this could be the perfect time to show Sony and Bend that it'll be worth their time. As far as we know Bend don't have a game in active development so if this remaster does well enough it might encourage them to greenlight a sequel.

@shonenjump86 I wonder if that's why in FC1 they included Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting and FC2 is including Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper as a way to make up for the 30th anniversary mistakes.
Personally I'm hoping they rerelease 3rd Strike online edition again.

@Andee Yeah that 30th anniversary came at the wrong time where Capcom's fighting game division changed leadership after it launched and the new guys clearly give a damn about Capcom's legacy.

At this rate the entire game will leak before it's officially announced.

The extra versions of X-Men vs Street fighter is pretty significant because the one the collection shipped with was essentially the last updated version which removed wall bounces and infinites which the community regarded as a "lesser version." So to have them back is a big gesture from Capcom because they didn't need to do that.

In regards to a new portable.
I've hoped Sony would do a Deck like handheld that plays your existing library. PS6 will have the majority of it's first two years of game being cross gen anyway so it's a win in that regard.
I also expect it to be digital only, can't see Sony wanting to do carts.

Sadly the writing has been on the wall for a while now. Prices have been going up for so many things all over the world for things more essential then a games console. Let's face it the combination of a fallout from a pandemic, global conflicts and not to mention an erratic President who's playing monopoly with the world economy all adds up.

@get2sammyb While I wouldn't put it past them, I've heard a YouTubers who dedicate their entire channel to ZZZ say that they've never won a 50/50 so who knows really.

@get2sammyb Since launch I was able to get a successful 50/50 for every character up to Lighter. Since then I've not had it go my way lol. Luckily I don't pull for Wengines, largely because I think it's cheeky that you have to use the same currency for agents to get their weapons.
