Just got Trigger so I'm hoping the 50/50 is kind to me when Vivian drops.

The three game idea was realistically the only way they could do it justice and on a scope that people were wanting I.E. towns that looked like towns and not a few screens from the PS1 era. Yeah there's a fair bit of bloat in both games but that's more of an issue with AAA gaming rather then the game itself.

@Rog-X One swallow doesn't make a summer. Besides I've been able to get discounts on Plus through CDKeys and the like so it's not as if there aren't other ways.

@OldGamer999 The PS4 era was pretty much like that too. It was only the odd year that they had more then one big game.

@Yukairi Tbh I don't think the UI was designed with that in mind. Hence why every game has it's own background. I would love if the PS6 when that comes out brings a version of the PS3's XMB cos I loved at how customisable it was.

That Rolling Stone paragraph summed up the problem I had with TLOU2 in the first place.

Good luck to anybody trying to catch up since there's been 8 updates worth of content that was added since release.

I'm hoping that Bungie stick to a narrower scope with Marathon. Destiny being an MMO meant it had to do so many things like story, PVP, raids etc. Whereas if they just focus on making a high quality extraction shooter then it has a decent chance of being successful.

Blue Prince and Talos Principle for me. Just wish it had VR support.

@RoomWithaMoose Mario Kart will be big of course and DK looks great but a Kirby racing game is an odd one next MK and a third Hyrule Warriors game is fine but not up to the hype levels that people might have hoped for.

PlayStation basically made a free pack in game that showcased the system you bought and it was so beloved that they made a sequel that became the definitive game of the year for 2024. In other words Sony out Nintendoed, Nintendo.

Switch 2 will be a big success no doubt but the lack of an interesting lineup compared the first 9 months of the previous console means it feels less of a must have system. Plus the high price for games isn't going to sit well with Nintendo's casual/more family oriented audience.

@devil76 Yes I am considering this is a new system so it's reasonable to expect new games. If you look at the PS5 reveal, outside of GTA5 every other games shown was brand new. Today Nintendo showed about 5 new games in an hour long direct.

Nintendo are really pushing it because they basically charging $80 for handheld games now.

Confirmed by FromSoft that it's a "PVP/PVE" game.

Thought it was a poor showing tbh.

The stream had awful sync issues.

Nintendo continue to have gimmicky controls that's so unnecessary.

Too much focus on ports of games from a few years ago.

Game chat was hardly revolutionary and that framerate on friend's screens... yikes.

No price on stream was a strange choice.

Paid upgrades for Switch games when Nintendo should know better.

Lack of big Nintendo games at launch. Outside of MK. At least Donkey Kong is something a bit different

It just looks like an uneven hodgepodge of there previous games.

That was my issue with the PS4 games, as well as Parappa, they needed a sync test feature.

I'm disappointed in PS for posting this. After the nonsense of his remaster rumours that has been giving Santa Monica grief for weeks, you're now giving him more exposure.

GoW fans are eating good compared to what Halo 2 fans got for that game's 20th. It took a mod for them to do anything.

@Americansamurai1 I wouldn't be surprised if internal politics were involved in Deviation been shut down. I remember it was Jason Blundell and Mark Rubin leading the studio then awhile later Mark left, then gradually the project was cancelled. And yet a decent amount of the staff seemed to have moved into Sony anyway.

With these bots that brings an end to the ones that were leaked because of the trademarks in the credits. Will be interesting to see if more's coming because the space map as well the crash site still have plenty of room for new galaxies/bots.

@BansheeNorn I've played most of the Mario games and I still prefer Astro Bot because the 3D Mario games tend to get too bloated or bogged down with gimmick controls.
