Re: Marvel MaXimum Collection (PS5) - A Retro Comic Book Beat-'Em-Up Bonanza

I remember back in the 90s I wanted an X-Men game for my Mega Drive but my mother couldn't find it anywhere. So she got me Captain America and the Avengers instead and I played the hell out of it. In retrospect my mother made a good choice because the X-Men game wasn't good.
And I got much later got Maximum Carnage which was my first Spider-Man game. So to have these come back out of nowhere was a pleasant surprise.

Re: Epic to 'Solve' Life Insurance After Terminally Ill Employee Was Laid Off

Someone made a good point the other day that unlike other companies, Epic aren't a publicly traded company who have to keep the share holders happy.
If Epic needed money then maybe Tim Sweeney should have sold more of his shares in the company or at least a reduction in his salary in order to lesser the numbers of those being let go but I doubt he wants that conversation.

I have no doubt that they will have started development of Destiny 3 recently but it'll be a PS6 title.
Frankly Sony needs to start building trust with those who are willing to support there live service games because if they keep cutting support early just because of a combination of low player numbers and/or bad press then how do they expect to build any kind of player base?

I still struggle to see how TLOU Factions would have been monetized, games like Destiny and Overwatch can make some outlandish cosmetics but you can't do that with TLOU. All you can make is different backpacks and coats. And for how much it was costing it probably wasn't enough to sustain itself, and that's before it has would began to effect their single player games.
