This is the kind of thing I'd want if we ever had a Astro Karting game where you can make any kind of kart and bot you want. I guess a sort of spiritual sequel to ModNation Racers.

It'll be interesting to see what Dark Outlaw are making cos Sony must have seen something with Deviation's project cos they went to the trouble of starting up a new studio with many of the personnel who were there.

@Sanquine To be fair GoT was always a notch or two down from other Sony studios in terms of fidelity but they obviously decided to go with an art style that's carried by it's vibrant harsh colours.

What do people honestly expect from a sequel, the first game was great so why fix what's not broken.

I was most impressed by the combat. It seems there moving away from stances and now it's about what weapon you have.

This seems to be common with many Marvel projects where they get announced almost as soon as the the project got green lit. Wolverine would have been the same, that wouldn't have started full production when it was revealed.

@rjejr It's actually 5 new levels.

The last level seemed to hint that this is the last update which is a bit of a shame cos I was hoping for a cameo from Twisted Metal.

Cool idea but I wish they went back to part 1 and integrated Left Behind into the main story.

Just wish one of these classics was Tekken 3. It's absolutely criminal that one of the greatest fighting games of all time has not been rereleased outside the PS1 Classic.
I know there's licensing issues over Gon but if Capcom were able to get the MVC games back then I just don't think Namco have no excuses.

What I loved about Edgerunners was how it depicted Cyberpsychosis. In the game your largely just hunting people down who suffer from it but the series showed what it's like when they turn.

@Northern_munkey I did but I just didn't find it interesting.

The fact that they let half the studio go, must mean they are at best going to be a support studio for Forza Horizon, maybe even being a port house for other platforms. I know it's reboot seemed to tank but jeez.
For all the criticism people throw at Sony for holding back on their game reveals, I'd rather they do that then risk announcing something that might never come out.

@Anya-Chan When I was playing Forza Horizon 5, I found myself yearning to play Motor storm again. It's something I wish they used Nixxes for, remaster their PS3 era games.

I haven't finished it yet but right now it's at least a 9. It's very much the same as the original but there's so much more variety in how to approach the environment. The whole "walking simulator" criticism is completely mute at this point because you get access to vehicles within the first 3 hours so there's no excuses now.

I mean Phil Spencer as early as February this year said they were going to give Rare as much time as they need to finish Everwild only to then cancel it. So is it anymore surprising that those clowns think they have something good but then crap themselves when budget comes into play.

I've signed the UK petition but I have severe doubt that any kind of meaningful outcome will be reached.

@Fiendish-Beaver So what your saying is that Phil has no backbone. If he cared that much about the health of the industry (and how morally wrong it is to let thousands of people go despite them working for a 2 trillion dollar company) then he should just resign on the grounds that "he can't fulfil his job like he was expecting too" it's not like he's going to go skint anytime soon and will easily find a job elsewhere. At least then he can keep a modicum of respect despite his failures. The tagline is justified cos the guy is nothing but a corporate husk.

@wildcat_kickz Tbh the whole leadership needs looking but it starts from the top.

I honestly feel that Phil Spencer should resign. His decisions have ultimately led to Xbox having to completely who there are as a company because he was unable to make them a competitive ecosystem.

So Leon will be in his 50s if the game is set 30 years after RE2, which is interesting.

I'm sure deep down there logical and economical reasons for it. But when multi billion dollar corporations (in this case trillion dollar) decide to let go hundreds or even thousands of people it never not feels at best baffling...at worst gross.

@Psofo I just don't want glorified rental services to become the dominant way people play games, especially AAA titles.

Thank god Sony aren't following suit.
