I think it's pretty cool, there obviously going for a different take on the IP, hence the different art style. I'm still confused by the timing of the announcement though.

There's supposed to be a state of play coming soon, so announcing this out of nowhere seems like a weird choice.

K Pop has gotten so huge these past ten years it's crazy. I think Sony should make an action game about K Pop stars fighting hellish monsters, I think the idea is golden.

@MrPeanutbutterz Sadly too many only think AAA or top tier indie games are worth the time. It's the same mentality when a game gets 7 or 8 out of ten and think it's not worth the time.

I was put off by the price, especially when it sells itself as a big crossover game so the DLC is a big part of it.

I hope it turns out to be good, the FGC got real salty when this was announced because it wasn't Daisuke's next fighting game.

I'm glad that the development community is pushing back a bit because it's getting pathetic with the amount of people who gleefully want games to fail. If people spent as much energy talking about the games they do like compared to the ones they hate, maybe online communities wouldn't be such a cesspool.

I suspect this is going to be a story where the media are completely against him but a lot of gamers actually agree with him.
We saw with how certain outlets treated Hogwarts Legacy that many weren't willing to review or even cover a game in isolation because of outside forces that weren't connected to the game.
And I think a reviewer online even recently admitted that they shouldn't need to complete games in order to review them.
With things like that, it's no wonder that a lot of gamers lose trust in reviewers.

Also Jeff Gertzmann's reply is disappointing considering he famously got sacked from GameSpot because he didn't give Kane & Lynch a high score despite the website getting sponsored by it. Which is surly confirming Swen's point of people looking for trusted outlets.

They should do a WWE spin off and call it Reigns: Roman Reigns.

@Anke I respectfully disagree, people already put way too much value in the Steam numbers as it is.

@Cry_Zero Because randoms have infinite time to do the work. Sony have to assign employers and a budget. That's if it's a priority to begin with. Also Sony have to deal with licensing and legalities as well, it's not just the technical side that's the problem.

I wish they would bring some of their older games over to PS5 as well. Sunset Overdrive and Killer Instinct are the big ones for me.

I now want Rainbow Mika to be added with the moveset of WWE's Asuka.

It all looks promising but I wish the anime aesthetic was in the actual racing part too. A bit like Auto Moblista back in the day but hopefully better.

I'm looking forward to it. Bungie always make high quality shooters and the art style is cool. It's the business models where they tend to be suss.

@Tobimune That would need a budget of like $200m to do GoW on that scale, which is never going to happen for a TV show, it's why I think Norse is the right choice.

I was hoping it was going to be Graham McTavish but Ryan Hurst is a good choice too. Certainly a lot better then going for someone like The Rock or Dave Baustia.
I'm glad that their doing the Norse era because there's far more story to work with that suited for adaptation. The greek game's stories can be told in a tweet if we're being honest.

@Leinad7 It's just at an Estimate to how long I was playing. It just started feeling like the events were just rinsed and repeated too often. I would have preferred more of the Horizon story events then the by the numbers ones.

It was my first Forza game and while I enjoyed the first ten hours I played, I found it got repetitive very quickly from that point.

Makes a bit of sense, Sony will go all out on marketing plus they won't want to release any of their games close to it.

I mean Sony could have a lot of money out themed plates back at the PS5 launch and they didn't so what makes people think they would do it now for the Pro?

Everything was such a strange game yet I was compelled enough to get the platinum about 6 years ago.

I didn't vote for GTA because I don't think it'll come this year.

I think if this exists than I think it could be a standalone expansion so they can get some experience on Unreal Engine 5.

Considering the amount of good games that didn't make the top ten, shows that it was a good year.

@TheArt While true that Rockstar has earned those privileges they are still a law onto themselves.

@dskatter The GTA comparison isn't a fair one because they will have a budget reaching $500m and they can afford to take as long as they want. Those are luxuries that no other studio or publisher can afford.

I think it's best to delay for the handheld their making because I want it to be powerful enough to play PS5 games but ideally have a decent battery cos I still think that's where companies skimp on cost.
