@Mostik if i remember correctly that update only enabled that if you own both digital (also with PS plus) and physical versions that you don't need to insert the disc anymore, and you didnt need to remove the installed disc version first to play the digital one. You still need to own both.

@Fiendish-Beaver i bought my pro last september after alot of internal debates with myself, and i'm happy i did. Now i must say i already needed to expand my storage size so that was a extra benefit that came with buying a pro.

Wether or not it's with it for you depends on wether you want to play the games in the best way. Most games run and look better on it especially the upcoming games. I replay most of my games regulary, and now with the pro it makes replaying them even more fun because they will look better.

All this news all of sudden, seems like a reveal is coming soon.

I enjoyed it for what it was. I still have the game and do want to start a new playthrough, to see how i feel about the game now. It will be interesting to see what they will add from it in remake part 3

I'll wait a couple of months longer then. Pretty much every game is being spoiled anyway, i assume the game will be large so more casual gamers that don't go marathon the game in one sitting, will run on spoilers eventually. So pointless reason to delay.

@Anti-Matter I'm able to pre-order a physical copy at the major game store in the Netherlands.

@GirlVersusGame the PSone also had a rich collection of games for kids. Great Disney titles, Klonoa, crash, Spyro and more. I try to get my kids into these kind of titles but they seem to be more interested in Roblox unfortunately.

PS5 should be late 2028. Making it a 8 year life cycle, Wich should be standard imo, and giving the PS5 a couple of nore killer years to make op for the chaotic first years. This makes it 4 years for the base model, 4 years for pro version. This way they can offer a upgrade console every 4 years and making a upgrade worth it.

@PuppetMaster deal for FFVII have been made as well, Sony even funded alot for the remake, so it will show up at some point. Same for KH4. PlayStation is still a big market for SE, don't really get all the remarks about SE being done with PlayStation, nowhere have they said that. Only YouTube and website clickbaits have claimed that.

SE have always been multiplatform even in the psone and Ps2 days, they just didn't release on other platforms. The rising costs for there big titles force them to now, reasoning behind the full multiplatform releases from now on.

@PuppetMaster why not, FFVII remake part 3 is a big contender to be shown here. Final Fantasy tactics also got announced on a state of play first. It's not because they went multiplatform with every game from now on, that they won't announce anything on a Sony state of play.

Not surprised, dragon quest has always been more popular on Nintendo consoles. There is also more nostalgia for the earlier dragon quest games on those consoles.

Looks like booking a vacation. The more you search on it the more expensive it gets everytime you check.

@Czar_Khastik you forgot the deep emotional impact of the side quest later in the game. Where you get on last look of them before the plate falls.

Exclusives is why people buy a certain console, same with streaming services, the exclusives ate the reason to subscribe to that service. It always has been that way and it always will be. It's why the both Nintendo and PlayStation are successful.

It's amazing how only Sony is always framed as the big bad exclusivity discussions. Nintendo consoles always have the most exclusive games each generation.

In short, don't buy games from M$.

Uncharted movie was a mess. The last of us was okay and very good at moments, haven't seen until dawn or twisted metal yet. But horizon seems like a difficult movie to make.

Just make a animated Astro bot movie Sony. That's where the money is.

@Oram77 yeah the whispers are something else, I'm not a fan of those either. But who knows maybe something will happen in part 3 that will change our mind about the whispers. And rebirth was indeed amazing, seeing everything from the og completely remade was amazing. Can't wait to see the other locations in part 3.

So he left the ducks to make call of duty for, as it turned out, other ducks. Who got bought by bigger ducks. So now he went back to past ducks, who are about to get bought by the biggest ducks. There's a movie in there.

All I can say is I hope so. I really hope so. FFVII is my all time favourite game, and I was left disappointed after the two endings. Both were fantastic games but they really butchered that big moment in rebirth. Should have been a homerun, but they had to go the weird way.

Halo 1 and 2 had a massive impact on first person shooters on consoles, and both were amazing games, both single and multiplayer. Having a remake on PS5 will definitely be a first day buy for me. If this releases on the PS5 Microsoft might as well pull the plug on future Xbox consoles though and just become a publisher. Halo is like the Mario for Xbox.

@Dan12836666 GOW 1 and 2 (3 is a maybe) deserve and need a remake the most. GOW on the PS4 doesn't need one, still looks amazing.

@ShogunRok it's one of my most wanted games. It's crazy Square never tried this, seems like a instant hit.

@Shepherd_Tallon I still own my copy from the PSone and still play it. It's a hidden gem and really deserves another shot

2028 would be the sweet spot. That you get 4 years PS5 and 4 years PS5 pro. Basically a 8 year console cycle with a mid-gen upgrade.

@LiamCroft I contacted Square-enix support to find out if everything is on the disc, this is the response I got: "Thank you for your interest in purchasing the Twin-Pack.
The Intermission-DLC will be a code printed on a leaflet located inside the game box." Unfortunately it's not as physical as we hoped.

Will try this out, but I will probably stick to third person though.

But does it include integrale and all the patches on disc?

@Veritas7Ax that's exactly the issue with PS5, almost all the early big games, especially first party games, got a PS4 version. Even though the PS5 was the better version it does really downgrade the legacy of the PS5 and makes the PS4 even bigger.

Just imagine if those games didn't come to the PS4, PS5's portfolio would have been huge with only on PS5 games. Even though I really love the PS5, it hasn't reached the status of the previous PlayStation consoles. Hopefully that will be in the coming years. But hearing the PS6 name so much recently, really makes me anxious, as I don't want to move to the next console yet.

Make the PS5 a unforgettable console, in a positive way, first please instead of releasing PS6 fast.

Yeah... The sentence "no copyright infringement intended" tells it all. They know they are in the danger zone making these games. Why release these screenshots though, they are so obviously copied, it's like personally putting a mark on your head.

Forced online for single player campaign... Good job EA, good job.
