Re: First Wolverine PS5 Gameplay Is Incredibly Gory, Set for Fall 2026

@cburg if it shouldn't be exclusive because everyone can watch the movies then from now on Nintendo shouldn't keep Mario and Zelda as an exclusive anymore. Everyone can watch the Mario movie and next year the Zelda movie. It's developed and payed for by a Sony studio, that's why this marvel title is exclusive. Xbox has a Blade game in development as exclusive, if it's still in development though. Maybe Wolverine will be released on PC after a while.

Re: Round Up: What Was Announced in Sony's State of Play Livestream for September 2025?

1UP-HUSKY

There were some solid titles shown, don't get the complaints. We get multiple showcases throughout the year instead of the normal two times of the past and on top of that slot of big developers also have their own showcases recently where they also show the games. On top of that, almost everything is leaked before it's even showed, spoiling pretty much every possible big surprises.

Off course I would love to see more first and second party games, because we know those are almost always top titles. Hopefully we see more of those at the next state of play.

Re: Anything Pokรฉmon Pokopia Can Do, Palworld Can Do Too

1UP-HUSKY

@katamariUK I wouldn't be surprised if they did though ๐Ÿ˜‚

It's actually hilarious that they have the same type of game in development at the same time. What are the odds of that. Some of those designs are really close to the pokemon counterparts to be fair, I can understand Nintendo wanting those designs changed.

Re: 'Sony Seeks an Impermissible Monopoly on Genre Conventions': Tencent Fires Back Over Horizon Rip-Off

1UP-HUSKY

@antlion Nintendo sues over gameplay patents, wich they didn't create. I also said I understand why Nintendo sues over the design since some are really close to original Pokemon designs.

There is a different in the case of this though. They created this and went to Sony to ask to release this under the horizon ip. Palword didn't do this with Nintendo. If Genshin had so many similarities they could have sued them, but there is one big difference. The Zelda franchise, even if changed, is still of the highest quality, while pokemon is far away from it. They can't risk the competition with Palword.

And yes I stand with my first my previous post, that I hope none will win. Best is if both change game those designs, so they don't resemble the same and so both can excitst. For both this game as with Palword.

Re: PS5 Exclusive Ghost of Yotei Is Just Two Weeks Away, So Here's a Gorgeous Cinematic Trailer

1UP-HUSKY

@Northern_munkey it's to bad the actors had that impact on you. But if it doesn't feel good it doesn't feel good. Maybe it will change in the future, and you get to enjoy the games then.

This is what is better in games like uncharted where the characters don't look exactly like the actors and only do the voices. If real life actors do something you don't stand by it's easier to separate them and still enjoy the game.

Re: In Spain, the PS5 Is Starting to Outsell the Switch 2 Again

1UP-HUSKY

@RoomWithaMoose it says "thus far". It will have the same source as every other source of sales numbers, just because it doesn't serve your perspective of king Nintendo rules all doesn't means it isn't accurate. PlayStation has always been strongest in Europe, so it isn't that weird. It won't make the Switch 2 any less of a console.

Re: In Spain, the PS5 Is Starting to Outsell the Switch 2 Again

1UP-HUSKY

@Flaming_Kaiser looking at the last Nintendo direct, they really love paid DLC, nearly every title had a announcement of paid DLC coming. The worst thing in my opinion was DK Bananza DLC of 20 after not even two months while asking 70 for the game. Locked DLC or paid DLC before, at launch or shortly after shouldn't excist. Developers are withholding content at purpose to get more money for less.

Re: 'Sony Seeks an Impermissible Monopoly on Genre Conventions': Tencent Fires Back Over Horizon Rip-Off

1UP-HUSKY

I haven't watched anything from this game before, so I decided to look up some videos. If you would tell me, without any knowledge beforehand, that Sony made a spin-off for Horizon and that it takes place in a different region I would have believed that. It looks very similar, even the way how the scanning of the environment looks and all. It's incredible dumb to copy it like this especially after trying to get the rights to make a game of the IP.

Re: Despite Legal Dispute with Nintendo, Palworld Plans Full PS5 Release in 2026

1UP-HUSKY

@antlion i think that lawsuit is still going, last thing I read is that Tencent removed things from the game website. But I honestly hope it will go nowhere as well, the same as Nintendo's lawsuit. Yes it looks similar but where can you draw a line when it comes to the same concepts etc. If everyone needs to sue dacht other over that, then Sega can have a field trip with animal game mascots.

Re: Despite Legal Dispute with Nintendo, Palworld Plans Full PS5 Release in 2026

1UP-HUSKY

@antlion as for as I know none, but if they can use this they won't stop there. They will eventually use this against their competitors, and even the biggest fans know this even if they will never acknowledge that. Because Nintendo are saints in the eyes of fans.

I don't care about Palword personally, I think it would have been a game fast forgotten without this attention it is getting now. But if Nintendo wins this it will open a Pandora's box Wich will eventually create a threat to creativity and innovation cause everyone can get a patent and sue each other.

Re: Despite Legal Dispute with Nintendo, Palworld Plans Full PS5 Release in 2026

1UP-HUSKY

@antlion I understand that the sue for those designs, some are wat to close to the pokemon designs, and everyone knows that is exactly what they were aiming for making those designs. But to register pattents on gameplay s mechanics not even created by yourself and using these goes to far imo.

Nintendo also needs to ask themselves if this is worth it. They are making Palword really big and more popular with this. This game wouldn't have been on the radar of so many without this attention.

Re: Sony to 'Advance Position as Creative Leader in Single Player Experiences'

1UP-HUSKY

@TruestoryYep different artsyyle doesn't mean more creative. 2D Mario always play the same with some minor tweaks. Same goes for 3D. Mario has the same three jumps, punches, kicks, butt stomps and dives since Mario 64.

Zelda changed up the formula since breath of the wild, before that they sticker with the same formula for both 2d and 3d Zelda's. They even dedicated an entire game, skyward sword, so they can rehash the same vilian and story over and over.

God of War changed up it's complete style and gameplay with the first God of War on PS4. Donkey Kong bananza style gameplay, breaking everything you see, has been done before by others and not to mention it has the same pallet as odyssey.

Again I'm not saying Nintendo games aren't great, I grew up with Nintendo from the nes days, but let's not claim Nintendo is the most creative, because they're not, neither is.

Re: Sony to 'Advance Position as Creative Leader in Single Player Experiences'

1UP-HUSKY

@Max_the_German i hate to burst your bubble as you seem to be a big Nintendo fan but , Nintendo is the least creative of all. They have been pushing out the same games in the same IP's since late 90's. Great games but they are mostly the same.

Tears of the kingdom was a clone of breath of the wild with banjo kazooie nuts and bolts mechanics. It wasn't a creative effort. It's a great game though. Mario bros wonder is creatively not that different from other 2d Mario, yes it's the best since world but not creative. Donkey Kong bananza on the other hand does fall in that category. It was a fun and different game for Nintendo. But nothing that hasn't been done before.

I'm not bashing on Nintendo as they make amazing games but saying those games are more creative then Sony's first party is wrong. Both make creative games in different ways. As I said before in a post, neither is the creative leader.

Re: Metal Gear Solid Delta Patch Promised, But No Mention of PS5 Performance Improvements

1UP-HUSKY

@Kidfunkadelic83 I played the game for a couple of hours on the OG PS5, physical disc. Played both on quality mode and performance. On quality I noticed a couple of frame drops but nothing game breaking or as bad as some are saying. It might also been extra notable because I was focused on it. Performance does run more smoothly, you do notice a difference if you pan the camera around fast.
This was on the new style mode, I didn't notice anything weird on the legacy mode when I tried that.

Overall it plays great and I'm enjoying it so far, even when being for focused on the performance this time. There are some issues when your really focused on them, but nothing game breaking. If it would really bother you I advice to play in performance mode and maybe also in legacy mode, but I wasn't bothered with it in Quality mode. I think you can compare it to late gen switch games such as tears of the kingdom. Overall it runs great but sometimes the game is being challenged.

Re: Clair Obscur Will Become a Franchise, Expedition 33 the First Game

1UP-HUSKY

But why? Why does everything need to be a complete franchise these days. This game has a perfect wrapped up story, sure they can continue the story or make prequels, but why not create a new story with new characters in a new world.

There is a reason why Final fantasy, for example, was a succes in the past. Every game was different and new.

Re: Preview: Way of the Sword Reforges Onimusha for a New PS5 Era

1UP-HUSKY

@PuppetMaster Okami and Ace Attorney did age better compared to Onimusha, and there aren't that much similar games for those two, plus they had physical released in stores. I know that shouldn't matter but it might be a reason why it's harder for Onimusha 1 and 2 to reach gamers that have no nostalgia for it.
