The summer season of gaming showcases and announcements is fast approaching, and Geoff Keighley has kicked the proceedings off with a little hype trailer for the annual Summer Game Fest showcase.
To the tune of In the Stars by The Rolling Stones, he recounts the 2026 game releases so far and teases what's to come. While being part of the trailer doesn't mean there'll be reveals for those titles during the show, Keighley highlights games like Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, and Control Resonant.
We'll have a full Summer Game Fest 2026 guide available later in the month, but for now, the show begins at:
- North America: 2pm PDT / 3pm MDT / 4pm CDT / 5pm EDT
- UK/Ire: 10pm BST
- Europe: 11pm CEST / 12am (Sat) EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 6am (Sat) JST / 5am (Sat) AWST / 7am (Sat) AEST
A replacement for E3, this year's show has the potential to be a major one. This could be where we see Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3, and with GTA 6 looming in November, we'll need to see how the gaming calendar shapes up before and after its launch as release dates get announced.
An Xbox Games Showcase is already revealed to be taking place in the days after the livestream, and Sony usually puts on a State of Play during the same timeframe, generally at the end of May.

It'll be nice to finally see Naughty Dog's latest game. Y'know, that game? The one that so far has had less gameplay reveals than Duke Nukem Forever did in the same space of time?
I'm actually really looking forward to the show this year, I have been saying for months now this is where FF7 part 3 will be shown off. Would also love to see more on Tomb Raider. Intergalatic could be the closer if it's there.
I'll be at a festival during this, so I guess I'll just check summaries after this time
I'm sick of Geoff Keighley. I'm not interested in all that fluff. I'll just watch the trailers that catch my eye over my morning coffee and save a ton of time.
FF7-3 is a given. Is it to much to also hope for Kingdom Hearts 4....
Still can't believe we've had zero updates on Tomb Raider
