Is there a way to play against a friend? Or is it just ranked battle only? I’m guessing just the latter.

Loved the Witcher 3 and really enjoyed Gwent, but this is a little too late for me.

@lacerz haha literally. Although surprisingly I didn't have many problems with Fallout 4, I had so many with their other games. The worst being the save system in OG Skyrim for PS3 where if you play a certain amount of time, the game became literally unplayable with 5 minute load screens and frame rate drops into possibly single digits.

@Cutmastavictory my analogies aren't awful, you're just impatient and want something given to you right away. and you're right, we can agree on something - the PR guy shouldn't have thrown Sony under the bus. Actually, the PR guy didn't because it was a Dev who did, and he was wrong to do so. We have no idea what discussions these publishers and Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo have behind closed doors, and assuming we know exactly what they're saying is diminishing the conversation. Honestly, you sound exactly like the people who threw Sony under the bus for not having an answer to cross play immediately after being announced. Did you hate that move too? I didn't, because Sony didn't have adequate time to prepare for that discussion, and instead said the first thing that came to them - we don't have any plans for cross play at this time. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

back to @topic - I really would have benefited from trying the BETA before committing to this, as I'm not 100% sure Bethesda can pull this off as well as they want. This'll probably be a wait and see game for me.

@Cutmastavictory you’re actually the one using the wrong words. He didn’t say “I don’t think it will ever come”. He said, “I don’t know if it will ever come.” BIG DIFFERENCE. How are you supposed to know if a feature will come when you didn’t know it was possible until a few hours ago? And I don’t know, maybe they decided if the #1 best selling console didn’t want it, maybe they axed the idea from development. As the PR guy, you don’t make promises that you don’t know the answer to - especially in this day and age. It’s like if Sony had instead announced the PS5 was coming fall of 2019 and someone asked - are you porting Fallout 76 to PS5. It’s like, I don’t know. I literally just got this info and haven’t had time to discuss it with my teams yet.

@Cutmastavictory that’s a little unfair. That’s like Marvel saying they can’t use the x-men in the avengers movies because Fox hasn’t given them the movie rights and then 2 weeks before release, Fox says, you can use them. And then everyone saying, well, are you putting the x-men in the avengers, Marvel?!? It’s not a light switch they can flip. (And I’m a pretty die-hard PlayStation fan)

@NathanUC LOVED M.A.G. It was the first multiplayer game I played for 100 hours and I’ve still only done that with 2 games.

@Kiloman74 not all villains have surfaced yet (meaning just because he’s been Spider-Man for a long time, doesn’t mean Green Goblin is a thing yet)

Absolutely loved it, and I almost have the plat. It’s a 10 from me and definitely a GOTY contender. However, I do think that God of War is better (which I would also give a 10/10). This is more like a 9.75 for me.

I think E3 could have been saved if you just took out that really weird interlude after last of us. Surely someone from marketing could have looked at that and been like, nope. It’s not gonna work.

Keep it live but cut the live music out just a little and be more succinct. The orchestra before the God of War reveal was amazing.

Yeah, this was the second world announced - they just haven’t ever shown it.

Also to note - if they stick with their original plan, this takes place after the Big Hero 6 movie and is its own original story.

Wow crazy!

This whole game is incredibly detailed. From the way they handled the fast travel system, to the photo mode...it just all is super polished.

@Kienda yeah, hard to believe they haven’t done at least a straight port of FF7 (pc version?) considering Cloud is in Smash.

I love PS4 exclusives, but I also love Nintendo exclusives, which is why I’m hoping to get a switch in the next several months. Black Friday might be the right time.

@AFCC it’s basically like a little flying turret that shoots web at enemies for a little bit. You start out with 2 uses that recharge over time. You do have to research it but it’s unlocked very early. Not sure if you unlock naturally without the dlc.

Also, you can enter the code - just don’t download the section called “pre order bonus” if you don’t want those things in effect.

@AFCC didn’t realize the spider drone was part of the dlc. If you don’t want to use it right away, just don’t unlock it under gadgets. Not sure if it’s in the regular game. You don’t have to use those suits yet though. No idea how you would choose not to use the skill points. Maybe don’t download the preorder bonus?

Honestly, is there a real reason you need the prior expansions to play this? Because it doesn’t seem like you need curse of Osiris to play warmind. I’ll probsbly never play it because of that, and it’s sad cause I was interested in trying Forsaken.

@Kienda I reread my comment and I saw where that would come across. I blame it on how late it was. I had no intention in mocking Nintendo and I think they did the right thing and it just sucks for them. My main plan was to mock this game because even though I’m a fan of Final Fantasy XV, this looks terrible. Even if this was just on the switch, I wouldn’t play it for free.

@NintendoFan4Lyf yes, a rare trophy can become common. The rarity of the trophy isn’t pre-set - it’s the percentage of people who have completed it. There are different tiers but I don’t know them off the top of my head.

Honestly this is similar to “Retro Replay” where Troy Baker and Nolan north get together and play nes and arcade games while they talk and I love it. This would probably be awesome.

@RedMan33 honestly try finding someone for co-op. They weren’t as bad as I was expecting and I was only pretty good and not great at the game.

As for me, Overwatch, Dead by Daylight, and for some reason, I’ve gotten hooked on Enter the Gungeon. I also need to beat AC Origins before Spider-Man comes out.

@Ralizah I haven’t really played I-III. My list is sort of similar: VI, X, VII, XV, IV. IX would probably be next on the list. I felt there were some weird plot things (even more so than XV), but it was still charming as a ps1 era FF game. The limit break system is absolute garbage though. (Come at me, IX fans 😂)

@sinalefa yeah. I LOVED Persona 5 and I’d love to spend more time with the characters but I’m not really sure if I’d like this game.

@Ralizah sorry just saw this. I’m with you on MGS, though. MGS 3 is the only main game in the series 😂 lets just say I can see why you’d like XII and also why you wouldn’t like X depending on preferences. I mean, some people think VIII is their favorite and I think they’re crazy! I also recently played IX for the first time last year and while it was so good to play a classic FF title, I had a lot of issues with it.
