A shortened version of Kingdom Hearts III’s impending TGS 2018 trailer has confirmed the inclusion of a Big Hero 6 world, which is a Disney franchise that has frankly flown so far under our radar that we’re literally on the Wikipedia page right now. Apparently it came out in 2014 and won a bunch of Academy Awards?
For those of you who missed the announcement at E3 2018, the long-awaited sequel launches on 29th January, and there’ll be a free PlayStation VR experience to get you in the mood.

@Tsurii I get the feeling they decided to include Big Hero 6 just because it was riding high in 2014 and didn't really expect it to fizzle out as fast as it did. Which is probably why it's taken so long to actually see it.
Yeah, this was the second world announced - they just haven’t ever shown it.
Also to note - if they stick with their original plan, this takes place after the Big Hero 6 movie and is its own original story.

Big Hero 6 is a solid movie, I really enjoyed it. Do you guys know if Zootopia will be in the game too?

Kind of bummed that this is essentially going to be Kingdom Hearts: Pixar Edition.

@PS_Nation They said Big Hero 6 is the most recent film they're including.
@glassmusic The only confirmed Pixar worlds are Toy Story and Monsters Inc though.

Wait you didn't know about Big Hero 6? It was pretty popular when it came out.
@glassmusic In all fairness, nowadays it is kind of hard to separate the two studios. They do pretty much the same kind of CGI films with similar artstyles, share some executives, the Brave girl is a Disney princess, etc.
@get2sammyb Big Hero 6 was a pretty good "teens become super heroes" film, not as sappy as most Pixar type stuff. Cool nanotechnology and some humour. Similar to DreamWorks Dragons TV shows and movies, though not as serious as the films.
You really must have gone out of your way to avoid it though, besides the movie there was a 3DS game, a mobile match 3 game, toys in Disney Infinity, lots of toys in general, and a TV series.
More like Big Hero 6/10.

I hope there are still some surprise worlds, so hard to avoid what worlds are making it when you view VG sites.
I'm still hoping to see worlds from Disney series like Gargoyles or Lilo & Stitch.
3 years after announcement of it we finally get to see it.

@KidBoruto I've never seen the cartoon, we don't have cable, but we own both Disney Infinity characters. At least I think we do, there are so many taking up so much shelf space, kids.
@KidBoruto Yeah. I think it's because they had already settled on the worlds and storyline around when BH6 came out, and adding more afterwards would require reworks of the script and extra development time.
@rjejr You can stream the Big Hero 6 cartoon via On Demand or an app I think.
Either that or wait for it to hit Hulu/NetFlix or Disney's own streaming service.
@Orpheus79V True enough...hopefully their are more worlds then there were in BBS/KH2.
