I think this was confirmed, but will co-op be a part of the demo?

Just finished FF8 remastered. I think I’m gonna finally open Dreams and play the campaign first. Also gonna start Immortals soon!

@ShogunRok what does the game look like in terms of length? Are we talking Persona 5 hours of commitment?

@BranJ0 I personally think 2 has the worst story in the trilogy. I think the gameplay in 3 is better, with much more open environments. 3 is also the culmination of your efforts across multiple games, sort of like infinity war/end game if you watch marvel movies. 3 was incredible except for the last five minutes, which I describe as more confusing than awful. It was a poor decision on their part. I’ve never played 3’s dlc.

So excited about this! I had been looking to buy concrete genie so that’s a win. I’m excited to play destruction all stars for free - and I gave up on control halfway through, so excited that I could always give that another try on PS5 😅

@wiiware if you get a PS5 or have someone on your friends list with a PS5, you/they can check how many gameplay hours you have on those games

Had a lot of fun playing with one friend last night while the rest wait to purchase. We had several instances of online issues, mainly in the shopping district of the first stage. We would become separate where it was like we were playing on two different servers with the other person seemingly attacking no one and vice versa. Both of us have pretty strong internet connection so I’m not sure what happened.

Also, there is a slight lag for whoever isn’t the host. It wasn’t anything too awful for the most part. Although at times it kept me from reviving successfully

Just beat Cyberpunk this week, and also the main game of Cadence of Hyrule yesterday. Just started Miles Morales last night and also played a bit of Scott Pilgrim vs the world

Well deserved. Persona 5 Royal is incredible. I’ve talked two of my friends into playing it and they absolutely loved it

Lots of good games but easily God of War, Horizon, and Persona 5 Strikers. FFXVI if it’s coming this year

This is awesome! I’ve wanted to play Greedfall for a while (I think it’s getting a PS5 version too - now I’m questioning whether that’ll be free). Shadow is a game I haven’t played that I might and it doesn't hurt to get a free ps5 game!

@daveofduncan to be fair, I haven’t had a single crash on my PS5 since launch until yesterday - had one about 2 hrs into the game. Thankfully the auto save only set me back like 45 seconds but I’d imagine if it happens every 2 hours to someone or during an important scene that it would be really annoying

Had my first crash after like 2 hours but didn’t lose any progress. Maybe like 30 seconds luckily

Not on your list, but I’m impressed Borderlands 3 has included dual sense support

Finished Demon Souls and got the plat on Astro Bot this week, so I’m enjoying a nice change of pace with Bugsnax.

@TheIdleCritic royal is superior in literally every way (except I didn’t personally prefer one tidbit of the ending). If you can afford it over free, I’d definitely recommend Royal

I play a good amount of them. Some (Dead By Daylight) have actually been games I’ve spent a lot of time with when I never would have considered buying. I definitely want to play Hollow Knight at some point.

I remember renting this and not really enjoying it, but maybe it would be worth another look

Wait. So later games introduced a password system to make sure you could summon your friends. Is there anything like that in the game?

@Medic_Alert I guess 2022 could be spiderman 2, whatever Sony bend is making (days gone 2?)? Doubt Kojima will be ready but who knows? God of war might slip. Maybe something like Bloodborne 2. I’m sure they’re thinking it through. If there’s one thing I trust, it’s Sony’s first parties. 😅

@Leafall Sekiro and Bloodborne are pretty equal for me. My post about how they shouldn’t play any others is because they were complaining about random mobs in between checkpoints and bosses - Sekiro is much better in that regard with having less of that

@pip_muzz on that basis alone, I definitely don’t recommend Bloodborne, Dark Souls or Demon Souls because they will be much worse in that regard. But maybe the new boss rush mode in Sekiro will be for you!

@pip_muzz believe it or not, Sekiro is definitely the best in the series for letting you attempt the boss one more time without killing enemies. Checkpoint placement, etc is way better than say, Bloodborne.

Another change we noted last night is the “suggest friends to leader” option is gone. Anyone in the party can add someone to your party it seems. Unless there’s something we were missing.

@RBMango Even beyond just recording, too. I had already played Persona 5 and was watching my best friend play through Royal on Share play. When it got to the new content, it wouldn’t even let him share play it with me.

Thankfully, it was a digital game. We made a copy of his save and I logged into his account on my PS4 so we could separately play the extra content.

Not sure we can call any of the launch titles “demanding”. I think we’ll be waiting til God of War to see a game that could make the fan loud.

The new one looks good (but young) but it’s a pretty drastic change for a character to those who already played. Imagine if Aloy looked TOTALLY different 😂
