@gbanas92 I had a PSVR for a short amount of time back in the day but I had never heard of this series. I know they're potentially porting 1995 later.

My question is, do you feel like there's a need to have played the other games at all? Are there very many references? Or is it pretty standalone

@Martijn87 yeah. Not that I feel it needs it, but that would be the best explanation to why they’re announcing it now.

If they are indeed worried about FFXVI sales then that would be one way to make people splurge.

@Soulless666 I'm pretty positive there's an auto option for dialogue in Octopath 2 and as they finish speaking it goes to the next text automatically. I don't have it installed right now to check but I'd definitely look that up

Still my favorite game of the year so far. It was like a dream game for me and I loved it!

@Krysus probably because Meta wanted it to be revealed in their showcase. Same as the fact we’ll have new ps4/ps5 games unveiled at the Xbox conference.

I would honestly play a sequel turn based rpg game for Persona 5 Royal, but I’m expecting them to make a Persona 6 instead.

I don’t know that I would have ever played this on a flat screen or bought for vr. But free for psvr2 and I might just give it a shot

Do we know if the first one is coming to PSVR2? It's fine if not, I'd probably watch a YouTuber play to see if I'll be interested in this one.

The status on my replacement PSVR2 says preparing to ship so hopefully I get it tomorrow or Wednesday!

@AtlanteanMan I guess I didn't specify, the issue I was having is that the right controller would work in menus but not in game, so I couldn't select anything (whether it was my play area) or in an nfl demo's case, agreeing to the EULA.

It's a known issue for random units, they said they could fix with a software patch but they have no idea how long it might take. Some people have had the issue since launch so I figured I'd just go ahead and get it exchanged.

@AtlanteanMan I don't own GT7 yet, but either way, they made me send in the entire VR unit even though it was just the controller that was defective. It's listed as a return and not a repair (which is supposed to be faster) but supposedly the warehouse that ships to me is super fast with purchases but ridiculously slow with exchanges. One guy on Twitter said it took 4 weeks for him to get his back. They say up to 10 business days just to process before sending out. My 10th business day is Tuesday so I guess we'll see.

I wish I could enjoy my PSVR2. Bought it through PS direct (the only method) and it arrived with the defective right controller. Sent it back next day and they're taking a long time to process the exchange. It's been annoying and ps support is no help. I didn't even get to the title screen in any of the three games I tried.

@Hoodie718 ok gotcha! I tried to be as thorough as possible but I couldn’t get anything to work. 😔 I’m probably going to have to go through the long exchange process. I really wish I could have bought it in a store so I could just swap it out.

@Danloaded I played in 60 fps instead of 30 with performance mode. If you do graphics mode, there's more detail including destructible stuff sticking around for longer or until you leave.

@Hoodie718 do you know what ultimately fixed it for you? I went up and down that thread trying fixes for 2+ hours and nothing suggested worked.

@Hurblyburbly I'm probably going to do that, especially because I've bought a VR game or two that I know won't get refunded. It's just annoying

Have a little bit of a different story.

I finally jumped the guy and ordered a PSVR 2 on Wednesday. Then found out it was coming Thursday. I was SO excited. It came and even my wife who is a non-gamer was really interested to see it and maybe try it out.

The next 2+ hours were filled with me trying to get into even one game. I couldn't get a demo to work. No problem, I installed Moss already, let's give that a go. Couldn't get to the title screen beyond the prompts. Loaded Horizon. No go.

Figured out I have a rare issue where the Right sense controller works in menus but does not work in games. I literally can't play anything. PS customer service was no help (it's a known issue, we'll fix it but who knows when) and PS direct said it could take 10 business days to even process it.

I'm so discouraged. I was so excited and now I'm debating whether I want to get it replaced or if I should just return it.

I feel like that feeds into the article - I was the first of my friends to try it and I had a good platform to sell it to them but now they're just seeing my disappointment. If it was in-store, I could probably get it replaced right away.

@ShogunRok I mean, he wasn't the hardest in the game, but I felt Margit was harder in Elden Ring compared to a lot of the next bosses you face. Sometimes it's just a reality check and you need to build momentum before taking on a bunch. I haven't played this game so I can't comment. Just doesn't seem like an unusual thing to think

I’ve been waiting on this one for forever but I loved it so will still get it. I have a switch but I got the plat for the original and would rather have it on PlayStation

I just bought my psvr2 today from the online store! This is definitely one I’m going to look into once I feel I can handle games with movement

It was good and it got my friend excited about playing. Which is good for Blizzard because it means I'll probably get it sooner

@thefourfoldroot1 @Max_the_German it's a continually updated list. It's the list of games that they've reviewed so far. They said it would take a while to get through all the games.

For everyone asking about Fallout 76, I played in July/August and got kinda hooked. Overplayed and gave it a long break before I go back to it. Had surprisingly good amt of fun. Did most stuff solo. You can even join a public team for free fast travel and perks but none of the actual joining up with people. Ask me if you have any questions and I’ll get back to you later.

@Uncharted2007 I don’t think red will be unplayable? I think that was only because of what it would take to program his character for how short of an appearance he made.

I’m actually in the middle of this one but was wondering if I’m enjoying and if I should continue. Maybe this is my indicator
