@BAMozzy you realise that the experience you get may vary a lot..offcourse i paid 500 for a ps5 to enjoy the best controller and best quality of the games i choose..i don't want to mess with streaming, tv dongles and more ipad-like consoles with 2 hour battery...

Can i be a minority and say that ps+ has a better game library than gamepass right now?

I guess now we can't celebrate how many steam users playing god of war on PC...

We are living in cold war gaming times but sony has all the talent to make people forget about this when vr2 and new exclusives are announced.

And very soon Sony will have to deal with the inevitable pirated copies and torrent release and see that pc sales will plummet.

I have already played more than 130 hours to get the platinum in Returnal but the gameplay is addictive and fun..If a games does the core elements right i can stick to it..as for DL1 i never finished it so i'm waiting for the ps5 patch to replay it.

With a game this huge i guess you need 3 months minimum to complete it..maybe it's better to go the blu-ray way once again.

@TheRedComet Totally agree. I was a PC battlefield guy but when bf4 came out i switch to ps4 and never looked back. online PC gaming can be a traumatic experience.

Not only a great game but a great soundtrack too! refreshing.

If you have a compatible tv try dirts 5 120hz mode..it plays like butter and even big frame drops aren't noticable in such high frame rates.

dirt 5 is a bit boring and nowhere near what dirt rally 2.0 offered in terms of quality and content..EA bying codemasters has me worried...

@Dezzy70 I have a ps5 since august..Me too was forced to buy a bundle with an extra controller, a charging station and a game of my choice..no big deal, i would buy them anyway..(don't sleep on the charging station,the thing is super easy to use and very practical)

2022 will be huge for ps5 but i can't see the console readily available for the next year and it's a shame cause they can't produce ps4's either.

@Integrity just dance makes sense cause all the wannabe twitch ladies buy this before they move to onlyfans...halo is nothing special either so why would people buy it instead of ''renting'' it?

@middyone Not only that but i managed to sell my aging ps4 around 180 euros making the ps5 a way better deal.

Game changing to me is ghost of tsushima and returnal with zero loading times in ps5..not 5 or 10 sec just 0.

I currently play It takes two co-op with my ps5 and i can tell you that ps4 pro couldn't handle this. The image, textures and lighting are sublime with zero pop-ups and no loading times and all that running with local co-op at 60 frames.

A lot of folks claim they don't need a ps5 but if you can get one you won't regret it...the dualsense is miles better with almost double the battery life..the console is dead silent..60fps is the norm with almost instant load times..graphics are getting better with every new release, this takes time..

The gap with microsoft is closing and there is not only stock to blame..No exclusives releasing around christmas was a big misstep..

@Ken_Kaniff Don't judge from youtube trailers mate..even the original HZD is looking great running at 60fps on ps5..we can expect a much improved game with HFW with better resolution, more foliage better shadows etc with a stable 60fps..Sometimes can look a bit cartoony but that's their artstyle..I bet will look glorious with an oled tv.

February seems far away to get some real ps5 news..

@Dr_ENT Tha's what i hope too but as an early ps5 adopter i don't see that yet.

@Dr_ENT Who cares if the customer is happy with a wallet friendly product..at the end of the day a lot of people bought ps5 because they were very happy with ps4..sony is doing their best to upset their fanbase..I expect christmas to be another lost month to competition.

@Dr_ENT nah i won't do it..ps5 is becoming an expensive sport and competition is better than ever..sony managed to loose a lot of steam and hype and black friday numbers are worrying.

I see that they blocked the mortal shell free ps5 upgrade...that's a bummer and a low level move.

I'm starting Ghost of tsushima directors cut (PS5) for the first time ever..I'm in for a treat.

@Medic_Alert The news are that xbox is outselling ps5 in the USA and are very close in Japan..The latest months were disappointing in Sony's headquarters. Christmas is coming with no big releases.

That's the way forward..less internet traffic and less server storage to host the files..

I believe the console design is futuristic..I recently watched a PS2 OG unboxing and the over the top design is still bold and classic..I always prefer the OG versions of any console.Over-engineered and dead silent except the blu-ray drive..

I currently play the game and the AI bugs are very annoying..in yamantau enemies refuse to die with any gun except the one with the steel balls..tried to replay the level with no luck..i guess i need to start over the entire game.

@iamtylerdurden1 I 'll buy the game day one as well but I'm afraid that cross-gen will held it back.

I have a feeling that GT7 will be very very similar to GTsport..except the car upgrade options..

I hope it scales good on consoles..still demons souls looks a bit better.

The game received an update today so i guess it's already patched.

@Voltan yeah and in general it was a well built console...mine is 7 years old and i'm gonna sell it tomorrow..works like a charm.

60fps on ps5? I'm becoming spoiled with frame rates.

@Voltan Yes but they also reworked the gfx and controls something they didn't bother doing for ps5 except for a performance patch..

@BrintaPap Do you remember how the ps5 was advertised? about console generations and exclusive games? they literally took everything back of what they promised.

I'm curious about the PC pricing compared to what we pay in ps5..

ps5 is 400.000 units behind ps4..still great with the chip shortage but...

@mucc however ps5 is selling slightly worse than ps4 and maybe there are countermeasures in place.

The bad thing is that the system will have a weak christmas holiday...still a lot first party games to buy than any rival but the public perception could be brutal.I think sony will have extra stock at december to battle this.

@mucc still dominated by switch software sales..and that wasn't happening in the ps4 era..i guess the pandemic changed all plans for ps5 with cross-gen and pc ports..it's easy to spot the panic sony had.

@KayOL77 ps5 software rarely makes the charts...it seems that people are ok clearing their backlog or enjoy their ps+ collection like me and don't pay 80euros for first party titles so often.

I guess the terrible attach rates of ps5 software really accelerated PC ports..I will never pay premium again or buy day one any exclusive..I will explore all my options and choose the cheapest way long-term.

A welcome change cause a good well-thought run can last more than 2 hours and life is getting in the way too..

ps+ update (hope it's good), a firmwate update(VRR) and 3-4 games releasing until christmas..xbox has grabbed a lot of attention with forza and halo this week, sony needs to have some good news.

I'm gonna finish days gone and go for the platinum..way underrated and fun game.

@IonMagi I don't care if they choose to port their flagship games to PC but don't make your loyal fans that happily paid premium so many years look like second class citizens..We were advertised ray tracing,VRR and next gen games..maybe start delivering Jim..
