PS5 pro will sell even less than PS4 pro.

Unfortunately ps5 isn't seling like hotcakes right now and sony is the one to blame. So many crossovers with ps4 and remakes-remasters, porting to PC better versions of their exclusives, the list goes on. Developers will shift to multiplatform and pc cause their consoles sales are mediocre at best. All the above raise questions about consoles and playstation as a hardware brand.

All these corpos don't care about gaming as a form of art and entertainment but only as a cash cow and a moneytree.

What saddens me is that lately all we talk and comment about is the PC space. A platform I couldn't care less. Year after year ps5 seems like a byproduct and the ground work for the pc porting frenzy.

There is still a free ps5 witcher 3 upgrade to get my rpg fix..No need for this.

A gears of war collection would be sweet. If these xbox games sell well sony might get jealous and try to make more and better games who knows..

@dschons some times motion blur can also help but not much.

As an oled tv owner 30fps games are very hard to enjoy..40 fps is a sweet spot though if i can't get 60.

I'm still hoping for fractions 2.

It's kinda sad that consoles follow the PC way of doing things..More horsepower with less polished games taking advantage of it..It seems that everything happens to pass the cost of developing to the consumers. Sooner or later they will say that we need an rtx4090 to run tetris.

@OldGamer999 I think it can't be done with ps5 due to limitations of the hdmi bandwidth..Don't know for sure...

@Frmknst You clearly have no clue. Oled tvs are unbearable with low frame rates.I refuse to play anything at 30fps with my lg oled.

It seems that ps5 will surpass ps4 total hardware sales sooner or later. No small feat.

People will buy anything these days expect for psvr2

Gamepass managed to cannibalise the whole gaming division.

Ps5 is more than capable to do 40fps with vrr which is a sweet spot..the tech is there but doing the actual work seems out of question for 3rd party developers.

Do the patches affect the demo as well? I'm willing to try it.

@Ainu20 DLSS is not the solution for everything..the image quality takes a serious hit..

Correct me if i'm wrong but upsampling tech is already supported by the base ps5..

So what's the point in developing new and exciting hardware? Where is competition? All they want is to eliminate the risk. Less work for more money.

@Jay767 Amen. It's their way to make lazy games and cut costs passing the cost of development to players who always need to buy new hardware.

@ZhuckelDror 4k60 with upsampling tech like fsr2.0 whould be really easy, but i guess they need to sell us new hardware again no matter what.

Sure thing is we don't need a ps5 pro..they barely touched the original hardware..Maybe, just maybe if you want to recoup costs you need to work the damn thing before you develop something new.

Europe is in shambles ..The cost of life is unbearable..Gaming is becoming less and less of a priority for most people. Very few games will stick and turn healthy profits.

It should be cheaper around 400euros..Right now it's a tough sell.They could also try new bundles with aggressive pricing.

@TheIdleCritic I think the game tries really hard to get noticed and just be weird with no obvious reason. I would say that it hit's bollywood movie levels.

Ultimate cringe-fest..not my cup of tea for sure..the original was the fastest game i dropped ever.

@Loamy I have an LG BX oled..it probably worth it's money especially in dolby vision movie modes and gaming is ultra responsive with accurate colors..however motion handling isn't the best..(maybe Sony is better?). 40 fps with VRR is a great sweet spot for me with the 120hz panel.

30 frames is unbearable with oled tv's.

Subscriptions also don't help with software sales..having extra for a year and I didn't purchase a single game.

any ps5 improvements? like 60fps?

An official case for the thing would be nice too..

Now can we please stop getting cod for ps plus after a year?

Boy, ps vr2 is becoming a tough sell. It's time for sony to burn some money towards it or it will flop.

@Jswift56 Yeah, factions 2.0 would be great with just a graphics upgrade. Make it standalone and free with ps+ and you got an instant winner.

WIFI 6 is mandatory for instant response. By the time i upgraded my router to a wifi6 one i can't go back.

Visuals could be a lot better..
