Is there any dualsense support for this game?

Early reports claim that the ps5 version is the best among all platforms..more than 10fps delta between ps5 and xsx..will have to wait for the inevitable DF analysis video..

I'm afraid that the game isn't optimized for ps5 as almost all video reviews out there don't talk about haptics, loading times and performance..In contrary HFW was shredded for minor bugs that will be fixed in a matter of weeks.

This kind of open world RPG running at 60 frames is something i was missing and ps4 couldn't provide..it gives me fallout 4 vibes..

Digital foundry video analysis said that the game runs slightly better on ps5 than XSX on all modes plus the dualsense features add to the mix.

The game will have long legs as more stock becomes available..or so i hope..

I was worried about the cross-gen situation with first party games but man sony did justice to both systems old and new..The game is a looker and sets a high bar for visuals and gameplay..Not just a resolution bump the competition was doing..so a lot of folks are salty.

2022 will be a great year for playstation but i hope that they will be able to supply enough stock.

I tried the ray-tracing mode and once you get used to the 30frames cap the games looks really good and next-gen..Impossible to run on weak hardware for sure..

I'm downloading the trial but the videos didn't show something really promising..

@Reeneman Yeah i meant the same thing..the game is still 30 frames but the tv makes it a bit smoother.

@Reeneman I think most oleds will double the frame rate to 60 no matter what..I have an LG oled and it's always on 60fps with motion smoothing off..

Aw the water!! impressive stuff..this game is untouched by anything right now..some reflections and the overall quality make the ray tracing narrative look silly and overhyped. As a sidenote it's really akward when you realise that the base ps4 can do better than most XSS games.

Returnal gave my dualsense drifting problems so i might skip this one..

What baffles me is that japanese audience turned their backs to these gems as numerous reports say that most first party titles didn't sell that well (look for GOT as an example) there..

I wonder the pc sales number..i don't believe they did more than 2 million..

@awp69 you clearly have no clue saying that VRR will give you 120hz boost..check your facts before spreading misinformation.

@themightyant I could't disagree more..A high tech tv made me enjoy films and games in a way i was missing all those years..even my old og ps4 looked stunning with just the tv upscaling.

The think i noticed recently with playstation is that me and my friends don't have a go to shooter to stick with..something that would become the playstation standard..like what halo infinite is now on xbox..some play cod, some destiny some other battle royales..there is plethora of choice offcourse but at the same time the fps genre is fragmented..We really need a sony fps exclusive that is F2P to gather everyone.

Sony made a wrong call to abandon ps4 early.The lack of any sony product in shelves is the worst thing a company could do especially during christmas.They lost a big chunk of new customers and software sales and don't forget that a happy customer will stick to a company for new products (ps5, psvr2).

I didnt know the game had a ps5 upgrade with 120hz mode..I will try some crucible matches again and be smoked as always.

I don't get the complains..playstation is and will be about games above all..so there you have it..If all you want to hear is subscriptions and developer buyouts then you are at the wrong camp.

The lack of multiplayer is a missing opportunity cause i found the original MP experience great and quite enjoying..They seem to make space for factions 2..

Something horror would fit the snowy nights well..resident evil 2 or little nightmares 2...

I think the game looks better than any open world game today..

@Bismarck You get what you pay in the long run..if gamepass is a good value for you great i'm happy for you..you made a good choice..even windows 10 or 11 whatever are in a way free..but they miss a lot of productivity tools to make meaningfull work..

@Bismarck Even smaller titles sold better on playstation every time..playstation fans don't have a problem paying for a good game..

It's not about the ending..it's about the journey...

@Gamakazil carefull cause a last gen title is turning heads in steam..i'm talking about god of war..now imagine how pc-gamers will starve for more and i can't blame them..

@TheRedComet I easily get more than 15 hour of play time mate..i mute the microphone though cause i don't need it..the haptics are all to strong mode too...

Gamepass right now sits at 25 million subscribers..PC and Xbox,trials and cheap 1 dollar offers combined...I don't see it as successfull as people claim..They need to pass the 50+ million mark in the next 2-3 years..will it happen? i don't think so..

zombie army 4 with ps+ is better.

A steady output of quality first or second party exclusives and improved stock is all the y need...sorry but cross-gen titles don't cut it anymore..You have to show off the new machine.

This will be a no-brainer for playstation newcomers that haven't play the games but i don't expect them to be a lot.

I really hope ps4 hits the 120million milestone..

@NinjaSixx you should try is on ps5 with 60fps..very beautiful game with great combat..

one step at a time..sony needs to show that HFW is a must have game and show the power of the ps5..i guess we'll find out soon..mixed reviews will paint a very bleak picture.

@BAMozzy you realise that the experience you get may vary a lot..offcourse i paid 500 for a ps5 to enjoy the best controller and best quality of the games i choose..i don't want to mess with streaming, tv dongles and more ipad-like consoles with 2 hour battery...

Can i be a minority and say that ps+ has a better game library than gamepass right now?

I guess now we can't celebrate how many steam users playing god of war on PC...

We are living in cold war gaming times but sony has all the talent to make people forget about this when vr2 and new exclusives are announced.

And very soon Sony will have to deal with the inevitable pirated copies and torrent release and see that pc sales will plummet.

I have already played more than 130 hours to get the platinum in Returnal but the gameplay is addictive and fun..If a games does the core elements right i can stick to it..as for DL1 i never finished it so i'm waiting for the ps5 patch to replay it.

With a game this huge i guess you need 3 months minimum to complete it..maybe it's better to go the blu-ray way once again.

@TheRedComet Totally agree. I was a PC battlefield guy but when bf4 came out i switch to ps4 and never looked back. online PC gaming can be a traumatic experience.

Not only a great game but a great soundtrack too! refreshing.

If you have a compatible tv try dirts 5 120hz mode..it plays like butter and even big frame drops aren't noticable in such high frame rates.

dirt 5 is a bit boring and nowhere near what dirt rally 2.0 offered in terms of quality and content..EA bying codemasters has me worried...
