Sony should consider dropping ps+ paywall for live service games and get on par with PC in that matter. PS+ is becoming a serious setback for this kind of games.

Anyone see image improvements for the base PS5? I always do balanced mode with VRR as my tv supports it.

Very happy using my 5 year old phone and my og ps5. Those tech companies won't see any money from me any time soon.

I would recommend people to try some board games. Like settlers of Catan. You can have a lot of fun, is way cheaper and a great way to socialise.

As all manufacturing is going to Asia so is video game development. It was inevitable. The westerns started a lot of time bombs lately to feed the ultra rich again again.

@Reeneman I see no conspiracy just AMD's incompetence to improve. I guess they are chasing the AI bubble as well.

My question is why the base ps5 is left behind. It supports AMD's upscaling tech that nonone tries to improve.

I traded my copy maybe 10 years ago. It stings now cause i would like to replay it.

Kudos to Sony. They don't need to bring any value to valve, steam, microsoft or any American company.

Microsoft isn't good with hardware. They should stick to software. They managed to even botch mice and keyboards, from top manufacturer to collecting scraps.

Sad times but no business in America is safe anymore. The race to print money or burn is brutal. I see Sony heavily investing in Korean/ China studios now on.

PS+ essential hasn't had any discounts for a long time. It's the first time in years i haven't renewed my sub.

General population is struggling with their finances. Nobody needs to buy again the same promise for 4k ray tracing games. If sony wants to postpone the ps6 release is a wise move cause they have all the metrics and the analytics to back this decision.
They are also making more money selling older hardware.

The tech is moving forward software solutions than pure horsepower. I can see the ps5/ps5 pro get a lot of mileage with better image reconstruction, frame doubling etc.

That thumbnail..say no more. Have a nice life being a youtuber. You are usefull to literally no one on this earth.

I don't give a damn about people trying to pursuit a youtube carreer or side hustle.

Is ps+ required for online play?

@SMJ For Sony isn't anymore. That's why they try to crack China and India to expand the market.

Good thing is that Japan is only a fraction of the console worldwide market. PS5 is doing great in general almost everywhere.

Day one for me.

The 60 fps is a welcome change but the image quality is still stuck to ps4 era. Still a nice game, maybe a bit formulaic to today's standards.

I need to save on ps+ . I refuse to pay full price.

I don't know why this game appears in my library. Maybe it was a trial run or a demo? Never bought it.

I'll give it a try. Maybe snatch a cheap retail copy.

I see a bigger pattern here. Gamers in general are becoming fed up by American developers. They just sell products without any soul. I'm taking about the big ones. AI obsessed. Earning reports after earning reports. Massive layoffs.

The only thing that could work with Sony and japan is to bundle the ps portal with the console.

Never played those games. Maybe it's time to try them and buy the whole bundle hoping that rdr2 will get at least 60fps support some day.

Price was upgraded as well. Unfortunately. Retail copies can be found cheaper luckily.

I bought the remaster for cheap but i have yet to play it.

One of the first games i played on my ps5 that showed the console's teeth compared to previous gen. I traded my hardcopy for Ragnarok after completing it but i would like to revisit the game with all the DLC.

The complexity of lore, events, dlc's and mechanics could be teached at universities. It's a shame cause the gameplay is great but the game in not welcoming new or returning players. It's chaotic.

Sony had a rough start with the pandemic but now the ps5 is in a great spot. PC parts are becoming really expensive and the value behind a ps5 base or pro is insane. I expect massive black friday and Christmas sales.

People here forget a lot of things that made playstation a giant. A common issue is that you need service points and Sony has them even in very small countries.

They try hard to push that machine but i smell a flop again.
