Right off the back of yesterday's story trailer for Horizon Forbidden West, developer Guerrilla Games has shared a deep dive into the voice talent providing the dialogue for the upcoming PlayStation 5, PS4 title. It includes interviews with Ashly Burch (Aloy), Lance Reddick (Sylens) and The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss (Tilda). There are even very brief snippets of gameplay and cutscenes in between each interview, so it's well worth digesting everything contained above.

On returning to play Aloy, Ashly Burch speaks of her excitement around reprising the role. "Aloy is such a rich and interesting character. I think I really got to know her and, sort of, now I know where she sits. I know how to access her." Burch then goes on to discuss the awkward relationship between Aloy and Sylens. "They kind of need each other, so there's this really fun push and pull which is like: 'I hate this guy but I need this guy".

Lance Reddick is another returning voice actor, playing the role of the aforementioned Sylens. He said: "I love playing characters that are super smart and super complex psychologically. Playing a character that's got a lot of mystery to it or layers, I think that's kind of the actor's dream."

One other mysterious character would be Tilda, played by Carrie-Anne Moss. She said: "I really love playing manipulative people. I play this very interesting character named Tilda who's quite a dynamic character. As an artist, there's a lot of freedom in doing something like this. You get to be in the moment, getting thrown direction by the director, getting to try it over and over again. I felt like creatively it was really fun."

The video also contains short interviews with John Macmillan (Varl)and John Hopkins (Erend). We recommend giving it a complete watch because there are a fair few scenes we haven't seen before. Unless you're trying to avoid spoilers, of course.
