I don't like how games are so dependent on downloaded content now. There are still some people that don't have internet access and this puts them out completely. I want to be able to buy a complete game on a disc, put it in my console and play it without needing an internet connection. I don't think that will ever happen again unfortunately.

@carlos82 yes Destruction Derby 2 was awesome! I think it should get a remake.

The PlayStation blew me away. I was 14 and I got it in 96. My first games were Destruction Derby 2 and Tomb Raider. I was amazed. Tomb raider even got my dad into gaming. Happy birthday PlayStation!

Who plays mobile games? I just don't get how games on phones or tablets are selling so well. Every time I've tried, the lack of a controller just pisses me off. How can you play anything on tuch screen. I mean besides clicking on candy or jewels.

@WARDIE you are absolutely correct my friend. I love every Bethesda game you've listed there and I'm dying for some post apocalyptic adventure!
For me fallout will be better than the witcher and mgs5 because of the level of freedom. Those others don't really allow role play because they tell you who your going to be. Your Geralt who fights with two swords and some magic. Well what if I wanted to be an archer or pure mage or fight with a two hander warhammer or simply not be this white haired dude. Come to think of it aren't Geralt and big boss very similar looking. Anyway I'm sorry for rambling. You get the point.

I wish they would sacrifice a bit of the graphics and size of some games for better performance.

This sucks! My Dad lives way out in the mountains with no internet service. I used to be able to bring him games to play. Especially game of the year editions with all content and patches on disc. No more. Now just about all games need a connection to download just to work. Why can't they just make complete games anymore.

Yeah I'm all about some old school RPG action. Me and my buddy will play this together. Can't wait.

@B3ND3R I will give it a try. It would be great to have another genre of games to play. Correction on my last comment. I do like the fire emblem games on 3ds. Love the strategic combat.

I absolutely love The Last of Us! I want more. I think 2 should focus on Ellie after the events of the first. She could set out on her own to help find a cure.

I guess I just don't get Japanese games. I've tried to play some that people raved about, but I can't seem to get into them.

Sounds good. I don't mind the puzzle's being a bit easy. Some adventure games have puzzle's that are far to complicated or have very illogical solutions that you have to either look up or stumble upon to figure out. I hate that. I will give this a shot. Thanks for the review.

Great. There's going to be a bunch of 14 year olds wackin off with their head sets on and they won't even notice when mom walks in.

I've been playing this for over a week now. I think the fighting and driving is a lot of fun and I like the look of the wasteland camps. I have to agree with the reviewer about the repetitive tedious requirements to move forward in the story and to fully level the car. The game will require you to lower the enemy threat in certain areas before moving forward or ulocking an upgrade. This becomes a very long and boring process. The gameplay and looks of the game do make it worth playing though.

I've been playing all weekend. I'm pleasantly surprised. Honestly didn't think I would like it. I had it on my gamefly list and it showed up the day after release. Turns out to be really fun. Great action!

This looks interesting. I've been disappointed in the gameplay of Assassin's Creed for awhile though. So I'll wait and see some gameplay when it comes out.

@Frazzle I was going to tell the same story. But you've said it well. Loved TLOU can't wait to play this!

This is nice. For me though they lost me after DAO. It was so good. Then 2 was meh. Then DAI was so boring I literally fel asleep trying to play it twice and gave up.

I tried so hard to like DAI but it just makes me sleepy.

@MikLSP I absolutely agree. Might be because I have a little girl but the last of us really got me. I think its the most touching story in any game or movie I've seen.

I say thank you Bethesda! I am sick of beautiful but boring games. I love the Elder scrolls and fallout games because of the freedom and variety they have. They allow you to really role play and get into the world of the game. Yes you need some visuals for that but it is more about the gameplay, the way they let you explore and do your own thing. I can still get into skyrim on my 360 and it is 4 years old already! Thank you Bethesda for knowing how to make great adventures. Just make it work better on PlayStation this time please.

@Gemuarto thank god I'm not the only one. I really want to like Inquisition but its soooo boooorring. I actually fell asleep trying to play it. I wish it was good but its just not fun.

Had fun with Second Son. Great combat. But after one play through I lost interest. The dlc was good too.

I love this game. It was difficult at first but once you start unlocking some abilities it gets really good.

I have to say I don't get Dragon age Inquisition. I want to like it but it bores me to the point where I have literally fallen asleep trying to play it. Twice!

I love this game and I don't get all the comparisons to assasins creed. I have tried to play every assasins creed game and haven't cared enough to finish any since 2. Shadow of mordor was way more fun than any assasins creed IMO. The controls were way better too. The finishing moves were badass. The nemesis system is awesome!. The only thing it has in common with assasins creed really is the way the character looks and moves.

I absolutely loved The last of us remastered. But it's wasint really a 2014 game. So my other pick is Shadow of Mordor. Awesome game.

Maybe the first Tomb Raider. Or Twisted Metal. Or Destruction Derby. Or so many more. Can't decide.

I really like the improvements they have made. I think this is what gta5 was meant to be. Love the first person view also. I may even do some online play. My psn is tenderbeekcake if anyone wants to play this or Far cry 4 or DA inquisition.

Well my wife just started Dragon age inquisition. If she doesn't hog the ps4 all weekend I will play some of it myself.

If you buy digital on ps4 and then say your internet goes down, can you still play your game?

I'm still trying to decide if I should buy digital or physical. I want to download it but I worry about network problems or errors like these that some people are having already.

@SuperCat Yep I agree. It's hard not to think things are rigged when you see that sort of thing. I don't want to be a conspiracy guy but what am I to think about some of those reviews?

Thanks for an honest review. Some of the other reviews are so bad it blows my mind. Playstation lifestyle gave it 100! How can you give a game with this many problems a 100. That is just plain dishonest. I read user reviews that openly state the games problems and then score it 10 of 10! Thank god there are some good journalist left. Good job Push Square.

I absolutely love Skyrim and will definitely get this just to reminisce. I played Skyrim on xbox360 and it ran beautifully. I feel bad for people who only had ps3 and missed out on what I think is still the best game ever.

I feel like people have been obsessing over graphics instead of making good games that play well and are fun.

I can't help but think they just got way to crazy with the number of npc's and the whole scope of the game. Why do you need a thousand npc's on screen. Why not cut that in half and make the game run better.

Am I the only one disappointed in the amount of blood and gore in GTA 5. I miss red deads bullet wounds. It was great and I don't see why they would leave it out.

Im so excited about the first person mode. I've always wanted GTA in first person. I am a bit disappointed in the lack of blood and gore in gta5 though. It was awesome in red dead redemption. They really should have kicked it up a notch.
