"Time to take out the trash"

While we’re used to the trailers from Rockstar Games being cinematic affairs, the publisher has bucked that trend for this Grand Theft Auto V first-person footage. Instead, the company’s opted to showcase the upcoming PlayStation 4 re-release in its rawest form – and it’s looking pretty spectacular to say the least.

In this clip, you’ll see protagonists Trevor, Michael, and Franklin engaging in various vehicular and on-foot activities – but all from the game’s brand new perspective. We have to say, while the video appears to be heavily scripted, the new viewpoint does seem to change the experience considerably, with the motorbike sequence at the end demonstrating an impressive sense of speed.

The developer has said that it’s added tons of animations to the existing experience to make the new camera position work. Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of the added perspective, though, as you’ll be able to pick when you want to use it – and even toggle it on and off using the DualShock 4’s touch pad. Nifty, huh?
