Mad Max has had the misfortune of releasing on the same day as one of the most highly anticipated titles of 2015, and although we doubt that it'll be able to outperform Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain when it comes to sales, it still looks like a decent enough open world romp all the same.
And, as with any game that's got a big old map, people are always interested in how large the sandbox offering actually is. Thankfully, PlayStation Access is back with another end to end video that shows off the post-apocalyptic wasteland. It takes the team roughly ten minutes to get from one side of the map to the other while driving at full speed, and while there isn't all that much to see in the barren environment, there's an unmistakable dusty charm to the whole thing.

I'm about two hours in and enjoying it so far. They didn't reinvent the wheel like reviews have said but it's still fun. It's a good looking game as well.
I would still be playing if I didn't have to go to work soon.
Same here Splat, played for 6 hours last night, had a blast..
@SteveoKenobi @Splat Good that you're all enjoying it, I'm pretty tempted myself, but with so many games coming out, I'll have to put it on the back burner. Something about wastelands in games is appealing - always find them fun to explore.
Definitely a game to wait for! As soon as it gets abut cheaper I'll be all over it! But as @shogunrok says the backlog is real!! On the watch list for sure though
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi - I have put about 8 hours in now and it's basically Shadow of Mordor only in a Mad Max setting. That is in no way a bad thing in my book.
I really really want to play this game and all your comments are making me want it more, but at the same time the reviews scared me a little :/ I don't know if I'll buy it soon
I played a fair bit this morning and it's a pretty good game, it's basically Batman of Mordor, but with a Mad Max setting and that is no bad thing.
It isn't as good as MGS V but it's good game nevertheless.
I've been playing all weekend. I'm pleasantly surprised. Honestly didn't think I would like it. I had it on my gamefly list and it showed up the day after release. Turns out to be really fun. Great action!
