Pitchford meant every word of his initial statement. That's who he really is. This is just word vomit so his game doesn't get buried by negative sentiment 3 months out from release.

Moist Charlie says that Season 2 isn't very good, and that Ellie's character is a vast departure from the game.

So this isn't surprising.

Eventually it will be on sale for like $15 and I'll give it a go. I tried it when I briefly had a Series S and didn't think much of it, but that was also while I was playing BG3.

At this point the Gothic 1 Remake is vaporware to me until I see some gameplay or screenshots. I've been seeing it listed on the PSN store for over 2 years now, and there's not been a single significant update that I am aware of since the project was first announced.

The irony is that he's never made a game that was worth $60 even, let alone $80. I'll find a way to play something else.

You know what could save Premium? Introduce 2 hour trials for ALL games.

From the rollout of the current system I had been a Premium subscriber until September of 2023. I dropped down to Essential at that point, and have not regretted it once. There has been ONE (Dave the Diver) game added to either service since then that I was interested in that I hadn't already played. One. Suffice to say I don't regret the downgrade.

Ubisoft is capable of making quality games, I'm just not sure why they pump out so many stinkers in between them. Stop trying to chase the live service bag already. How about making another Rayman platformer? Or a Watch Dogs game that has an acutal protagonist (I still think whoever made that decision should have been fired)? At least they hit the mark with AC Shadows, so far it's my favorite AC game along with Odyssey.

I've got 101 hours into Oblivion Remastered. Is it a flawless marvel of technological perfection? Obviously not. But I haven't had a single crash, a single game-breaking bug, nothing like the doomsday stuff I hear elsewhere. Sometimes I wonder if you guys manifest this stuff so that you have something to complain about.

Fallout 3, Fallout NV, GTA IV and Dragon Age: Origins remasters please for PS5 and I'll shut up about everything else.

I thought Forspoken was brilliant, and the hate it received at launch was very suspect.

I gave it a 9 because all I really care about is fun, and I'm having a ton of fun with it. Granted, Oblivion is the game that got me back into gaming 16 years ago, so I'm super biased. The only issue that I've noticed is slight graphical hiccups here and there (disappearing quest marker for example). I've had no crashes or anything major on PS5.

How about Ubi makes another Watch Dogs that actually has a protagonist?

I have to say as much of a critic as I am of the first game, the second one is absolutely brilliant. KCD2 is up there with BG3 as the absolute 2 best games I've played this gen.

What games exactly did Xbox ever have that PS didn't? I'm talking from 2013 onward. There literally wasn't one game on XBone that I wanted to play that wasn't available on PS4. And that still holds true for this gen. I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad, but dudes over there like "I'm glad I chose Xbox" is to me the same as saying "I'm glad I chose HD-DVD" back in 2005 or something.

It didn't need any paid DLC, it's a 10/10 game as is. The updates they released for free, most others would have charged for. It's nice to see that some people agree that not everything needs to be monetized to death.

I've played over 34 hours and have yet to have it crash once. I'm starting to think that people who like to complain just manifest crashes and bugs so they have something to whine about. Is it perfect? No, but nothing is. Is it a lot of fun? Absolutely.

I'm very interested in it, and would be playing it had Oblivion not dropped the same week. Soon as I'm done in Cyrodiil though, it's on.

The fact remains that it has been YEARS since a game I was interested in came to PS Plus before I already played it. Sure, there are some indie or AA titles that may interest me if I try them out, but it's not worth nearly doubling my yearly cost over Essential. Especially when I already have a backlog of AAA titles.

It's really good. I'm still in the sewers but omg I had insane expectations and they're already exceeded. I officially forgive BGS for Fallout 76 AND Starfield just for letting this happen.

@Northern_munkey I agree 100% about the first one being boring.

I live in the U.S. in a city where crime isn't taken seriously anymore, so there is no way I would ever take a portable gaming device with me out of the house...which negates the need for a portable gaming device unfortunately.

Let's remember these are leaks, not photos released by the developer. What ends up getting released could look significantly different from what we're seeing here. Honestly I'm just glad it exists.

This isn't surprising, since the last Nintendo console to be graphically competitive with the current generation was the GameCube like 20 some years ago.

Multiplayer = I couldn't care less. I guess FromSoft is doing so well that they can afford to leave giant piles of money on the floor in the form of sales they could have gotten on PS5. Whatever. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

The PS5 generation will be remembered as being particularly weak, due to the massive amount of time Sony wasted while chasing the live service bag.

What constitutes success these days? I guarantee even at 3.5 million copies, the game turned a profit. So what is the gripe then, that it didn't make ENOUGH money? What a poisonous attitude that can be.

I've always had respect for Tony Hawk, and now I have even more.

I wish nothing but the best for Bam Margera and sincerely want to see him happy and healthy.

The only thing I have against Fallout 76 is that I wish it's devs were working on TES:VI and FO5 instead.

I mean, he wasn't really lying, was he? The last Saints Row game that didn't drown in criticism was 2, and that was what, 2008? They had 15+ years to build off that, but instead we got downgrade after downgrade.

I'm never happy to see someone lose their job, but Volition kind of did themselves in with their output.

KCD2 is incredible. I'm glad I took a chance on it.

No Rest for the Wicked looks great so far! Would love the Ori games ported to PS4/PS5 as well. Pretty please.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is an outstanding game and was severely underrated IMO.

If we could somehow have remasters of Chrono Trigger and Lost Odyssey (yes, I know it was a 360 exclusive) on PS5 I would be very happy indeed.

I've been saying for years that Series X/S will be the last Xbox consoles as we know them. Not saying this report proves me right, but it doesn't prove me wrong either.

That presentation for the Xbone back in 2013 really did them in. I can't even imagine how many gamers who were happy with their 360 that gen said "f this" and went with PS4 and never looked back. I know at least one of them lol.

The next Xbox could beat PS6 to the market by two full calendar years, and it still would not make a damn bit of difference. There's no reason to own an Xbox anymore, all their games are coming to PS anyway, and you can play GP on your phone or PC, so...

Veilguard was a good game, just a really, really bad Dragon Age game.

@Ilovecoffee I hated the first one so I'm doubtful the second one will tickle my fancy. And I like magic in my fantasy RPG's, call me crazy.

Specifically, would love to see the Oblivion remake confirmed with a release date, as well as Avowed confirmed for PS5.

In general, I'd like to see an RPG or two that isn't influenced by Souls and/or doesn't look like an anime, for once. Would it kill someone to make a high-fantasy, medieval Western RPG? F***ing please?
