Never played any of them, so I'm very intrigued by this.

Never finished God Of War and I'm looking forward to firing up Star Wars Battlefront 2 on this. I'm going from a day one base ps4.

I never completed that game. It was too stressful. A:CM is a guilty pleasure of mine.

It only solidifies my choice of always going Playstation and gaming PC.

I can see this being a benefit for those who opted for the Digital Edition ps5 but have a substantial disc catalogue of ps4 games. Just stream those discs to ps5 for back compat instead. Probably laggy as hell though. 😒

Don't get what the fuss is all about. At the end of the day it's not an issue worth getting your knickers in a twist over. New games for all, hooray!

Got mine in the uk in may 1996. Street Fighter Alpha, Ridge Racer Revolution, Battle Arena Toshinden 1 & 2 and Alien trilogy.
Suffice to say my final year exams suffered that summer. Sorry not sorry.

The law of diminishing returns has never been so prevalent as it appears to be going into this next generation.
When developers have more time under their belts with the newer tech we'll start seeing the benefits on display. It's like that with every gen leap.
I dont know though, going forward this time round feels like a soft evolution of the status quo. Thankfully though I loved this current gen.

I can understand why Ps3 bc wouldn't be feasible because of it's architecture.
Support for Ps1 & 2 discs should surely be easy at this point however. I guess they'd rather sell the titles to you again though.

Personally, I usually buy a new console for the new games/experiences that are generally not available on other/older systems. Otherwise I wouldn't bother. Simple as that really. 🤷‍♂️

I prefer having a pc to an xbox. Powerful hardware is one thing, but having the caliber of talent to execute using it is another. Looking forward to seeing their offering from 1st party studios, as they've been left wanting this generation.

Horizontal is the only way I like my consoles. Also the only way it will fit in with the rest of my av setup.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 please. I max it out at 4k on my pc and It'd be great to see the ps version get some lovin in line with that.

I was infuriated when Sony told me I couldn't have a refund on Samurai Shodown 6. My problem was I could not start the game using my (only pad at the time) ds4. The touch pad for start and select had not been mapped on the old day one pads. So basically I could only play it once that pad gave up the ghost (last year) when I had to buy a new controller.
I like the way steam handles refunds. Far more consumer friendly.

I "expect" I'll be excited. Just going in with an open mind and hoping to be surprised in a positive way.

It's easily an 8 from me. It looks gorgeous. Plays really well. The different modes are plentiful and I love the co-op. What a redemption story this game is.

Very nice. Battlefront 2 is excellent.

I must be very lucky. I still use my launch day ps4 and it's never been loud.
