I imagine most outlets won't give it a 10 because they just gave a 10 to the last of us

the game is boring as hell anyway, the world is nice but it's very much a linear story set in an open world, wasted wasted opportunity

is it not a bit stale and dated to call a game and define a game as 'open world' just because it does have an open map, I'm not entirely sure what the alternative would be but just my thoughts

£40-50, most games get a very large chunk of discount within weeks of launch on PSN, I imagine if you checked a lot of the big releases had some sort of discount before it was out for 2 months

5.5 rounded up to 6, environment design level design and graphics etc 8, sound design music voice acting 7, gameplay and gameplay systems 5, characters and story 2. 22/4 = 5.5.

@OmegaStriver it's a narrative driven game, linear, focused on story and characters, to say only the story is garbage and not the game itself is like all the brainwashed kids on the tinternets saying oh it's only cosmetic it doesn't matter

If the reason you loved the first game is story and characters and with 2 all you're left with is a nice environment then having just a nice setting and nothing else 4 out of 10 isn't that harsh, it's just below average

very nice and I enjoyed some of those reveals but it wasn't really the place to show so many indie games, the presentation was great but didn't concentrate on showing off the capabilities of the PS5

@wiiware I don't think it's that embarrassing for a game that's 3 years old on console that's 7 years old and how many games manage 60 FPS that are that old on PS4, not many

and just imagine if Disney owned this and EA decided to shove in some gambling mechanics, awful. This is why we need first party games and studios, I hope Sony decides to remove all microtransactions from all their games. Doesn't look like it though. Waiting for the eventual release of TLOU2 multiplayer whenever that happens, it will be full of garbage hats DLC.
