I played wasteland 2 for the first time earlier this year, absolutely loved it, been looking forward to this, don't mind the bugs as I've gotten used to that kind of rubbish from inxile/obsidian

Destiny 2 is a mutated monstrosity, with annual games, a battle pass (seasonal passes) masses on masses of microtransactions, they are removing half the game after only 3 years and adding content from Destiny 1 which is playable on PlayStation 3.

I remember watching the PS5 launch events and there were 8 million viewers on one channel and the recently watching the Microsoft event for Xbox and an hour after going live it only had 60k

they did just put up a launch trailer on PlayStation access and they're doing a live stream right now

it's like fries or chips, Microsoft is trying to brute force cross gen games into mo' pixels, Sony's approach is more elegant in my opinion.

@sanderson72 the shells are interchangeable as far as I know, you can just buy a cheap third party one down the line

I'll pre order a digital edition from Sony if I can, if not then elsewhere, if not then launch day from Argos is your best bet, click and collect.

the trailer looked promising, how unfortunate, I've zero interest in horror stealth type games anyway really, add in some bland puzzles and I'm staying well away. Why is Silent Hill P.T. still the best horror game I've ever played, that really needs to get made.

@Taylorzombie I didn't say it had a bad story, the narrative and execution of the plot is awful, the characters from the first game are betrayed by poor telling of said story

TLOU Part II is a great game ruined by an absolute garbage narrative executed by ruined characters and a ridiculous ending. Nonesense. Ghosts is pretty alright so far, enjoyed the first couple of hours, not blown away yet but a solid 8 in the opening hours.

the quality is great but the portfolio is very samey samey, certainly not samey samey like awful Ubisoft games but there really isn't a lot of variety, I do wish they'd branch out and cover more genres and make smaller games and shorter games, with investments in the successful studios they could do that

already pre ordered cyberpunk and ghost of Tsushima this month and picked up ace combat complete edition with 69% off, also that sequel Sherlock Holmes game was less than 2 quid, will have to be some decent deals on recent games to get me excited
