Re: Australia Fines PlayStation $3.5 Million for Refusing Refunds on Digital Purchases

this is all completely believable as standard responses from Sony, the PSN website and store, is still garbage, the website is just as bad as using the store through the PlayStation itself. They are plenty happy to take lots and lots of money from consumers but aren't bothered about maintaining and consistently improving the store experience. Absolutely no way do they employ the correct staff to apply the correct legislation to purchases in all the countries they operate, they'd much rather take all your money, fob you off and hope for the best.

@AdamNovice the cut scenes literally are the context, if you have cut scenes equal to the length of a movie and the game doesn't make any sense from those cut scenes then your game has some serious problems, also, if your game takes 30 hours to complete then 1 hour 35 is more than adequate to explain the plot in much detail, you don't need a 60 hour movie to explain the plot of lord of the rings trilogy

naughty dog games are still very linear in both game/level design and story outcomes, I enjoyed the first game because it focused on two characters going through a journey together, was well acted and well written, the world creation was great dressing. I'm not sure how much I care about interacting with with openworld style RPG NPC vendors and such when it's still seems very linear, will wait and see how the full reviews pan out. Only really interested in playing through the game once and as an action-adventure/horror/thriller walking simulator. I don't think the crafting and kit will be in depth enough for me to care, may be wrong.

disgusting, you can't postpone life because 'bad stuff' despite the awful reveals from Microsoft they're staying ahead, well ahead, Sony is running any pre orders they hope to get this summer, I imagine they're just stupid and don't care and regardless it will sell out day one anyway. Now is a time to uplift everyone with enjoyment.

Re: Soapbox: I Want Better Levels on PS5, Not Bigger Worlds

depends m the game obviously, if it's mad max then I don't mind driving around the nothingness for long periods, if I'm in a city then driving around many many buildings that I can't interact with whatsoever and they're just window dressing like 99% of all the NPCs too that's just dull. Sounds like Cyberpunk is going to be more concentrated and integrated so there's that to look forward to
