With Crimson Desert so close I can't really think of starting anything else up.

Sony's go to plan of ignoring what Xbox does has worked perfectly so far. Xbox, even under new leadership has really ***** the bed and they already said they are exiting the console market. With the price of memory and everything now I think Xbox is just going to shoot themselves in the foot and Sony will sit back and wait.

SONY really ef'd over one of their most talented upcoming studios with a live service assignment then just shuts them down?! This is worst than Concord. At least they got to make their game. We never got to see BPs potential.

You talk of losing momentum I would argue the momentum is more related to cranking out good games, not a new, underwhelming upgrade for a console. I think we are well past NEEDING games to be these graphical powerhouses when we have so many indies that have upended peoples expectations. If we were talking about the PS2 from the PS1, back when we had much more noticeable upgrades, then I'd agree more. The differences are just not worth it today though. We need much more time to see more of a legit upgrade, but as long as the games remain the draw we will be fine.

I hope Ryan Hurst spends ample time practicing various iterations of "Boy!".

GOOD. We're nowhere near ready for another gen when we have pretty much hit a wall graphically. Many top tier games end up being hand drawn or pixel art masterpieces that don't need powerful consoles. Let the PS5 continue on. Lets get a slimmed down PS5 Pro+ or something. Think about PS6 maybe after 2030.

Great, so while people are having car troubles they can rest assured that their PS5 remote play still works! Have they not seen what's going on these past years? Cars have become way more expensive and the quality has tanked. This is pretty braindead of Sony/Honda IMO.

Held off an getting this for awhile as this level of CRPG is so involved for me(200+ hours of BG3 really drained me!). Now that I'm hyped for Div 3 and, Div 2 is on sale, Why the hell not! Didn't realize it wasn't technically on PS5 yet, so unexpected bonus to have a boosted version I guess!

So BATMAN and MORTAL ***** KOMBAT, don't factor in? How out of touch are these execs?! Hopefully someone helps them see the light.

@Duck_Farmer Ball x Pit was a blast to play! Just platted it the other day. Love all the various ball and passive combos. Satan ball is op IMO.

Tried it, just isn't for me. My mind cannot deal with the kind of system/info dump that's meant to keep someone engaged with these MMOs. Way too much trying to draw my attention and just comes off as tiring. TBF the last MMO I played was WoW, like 20 years ago.

@47Levi the price is right at least. We'll see if it's a game I can toss tens of hours at or one that I give up on within the first half hour.

@CutchuSlow Netease has over 26k employees. Now compare that to a big studio like Rock Star, who only has 5k-6k.

Love this kind of game, and big props for having a demo on PS!! I feel like more games are offering demos lately, and this should absolutely be encouraged!!

I don't see the point of the PS6. The PS5 has stunning graphics as it is. Is it really that crazy if they just let it sit for a bit longer? Give the tech more time to find something actually new. If I still have games are gorgeous as Yotei, in 2027 on my PS5, I will consider myself a lucky gamer.

Played a demo of this and have been looking forward to it. Might be my next obsession once I'm done with Yotei!

I don't remember much about the story because I usually spent all my time turning Ramza into a barehanded, double punching powerhouse. He could literally kill anything in one turn but takes time to unlock the proper jobs to get him there.

@PuppetMaster I'm not really interested in rehashing the same thing 4 more times though. I am very against that kind of development where they just force you to reply the same game, with minor changes. It is some of the laziest crap ever. Maybe I'd have more incentive if I unlocked an awesome unbreakable weapon or something but I feel like we are starting to see these kind of games get away from that(Cronos had almost nothing for unlockables).

@Kidfunkadelic83 Jump scares only as in, an enemy or two that can drop down or pop out at you unexpectedly. SH2 had it worse with those leggy ones that could ball up real tight in small spots, but if that's the kind of jump scare you're worried about that's really all there is in SHf.

I'm glad it's boosting the SH franchise anew but for me personally it didn't really hit that well. Only 11 hours on my first playthrough, and I like to check every inch of the map! Not worth $70 IMO.

AW2 is the obvious standout. Great for any who haven't played it yet. I already did though, so not much for me. Will probably dive into Cocoon though.

Got SHf on Thursday and already done with it today(Sunday). It wasn't BAD, it just didn't wow me. I didn't feel scared the entire time apart from a couple jump scares simply being unexpected enemy spawns. I didn't have a sense of impending doom nor was I grossed out at what I was seeing. SH2 remake did all those things for me though. I sit here now, bored, and annoyed I spent $70 on a game that took me 11 hours to go through one time, even with my need to check every nook and cranny. Glad I got a physical copy so I can recoup about 90% of my purchase on Ebay.

I don't expect it to any worse than Cronos, and I liked Cronos. So I look forward to it later this week!

It's Occam's Razor folks. No tariffs, Sony does no price increase. Yes tariffs, Sony does do a price increase. Sugar coat it anyway you want. It really is that simple.

I never understood why to this day they don't have trailers, videos or even screenshots on the web store. It's an utterly pitiful storefront.

@Northern_munkey I'm 48 and game everyday, multiple hours. Problem I have some times is games like NG and Shinobi, with repeated button mashing my fingers get twitchy afterwards from the excessive work. Def had no issues when I was younger but gotta limit my exposure nowadays lol

Chronos on 9/5 and SHf on 9/25? My belly be full.

My platforming and quick button combos have waned as I age. I'm afraid to play this or Shinobi... lol

Play the demo on Steam if you're not sure. It was pretty decent. Def will play it at some point myself!

Better selection of premium games would be nice. Some months they give you the literal bottom of the barrel. At least give me one tried and tested banger. I am not into games from PS1, 2 or even 3 era which is why I only go as far as PS+ Extra.

Absolutely looking forward to this! Others may disagree but the first SH movie was one of the best game adaptations I've ever seen. Yes they changed some things but they respected the look and feel of the games so much it still turned out great. One of my favorite movies to watch still!

My wife used to spend 80% of her Sims time rebuilding homes. She is very excited to get her hands on Architect Life!

After hearing they don't even have the game on the physical disc I have sworn off ever buying this game, digital or otherwise. I may play it if it ever pops up on PS+.

I would have purchased a physical copy but after hearing the game isn't even on the disc I'm keeping my money. Screw MS, screw Bethesda.

I've kept my eye on this seeing as how they kept updating it. Watching the 2.0 trailer sold me. They have fixed everything I saw was an issue, even updating the sound effects!! Grabbed it cheap and played the tutorial section so far and it feels smooth as butter, not clunky at all! Plus it looks absolutely gorgeous.

I'm not fully on board with the multiplayer focus so I'm fine with waiting to see if this comes to other consoles.
