Developer Poncle is following up its brilliantly compelling bullet heaven game Vampire Survivors with something slightly different, but it looks no less addictive.
Vampire Crawlers, announced earlier this year, is a dungeon-crawling, deck-building spin on the original, and in this new gameplay trailer, it looks like it has just as much to hook players in:
Set within the same world and featuring many of the same characters, enemies, and items, Vampire Crawlers changes to a first-person perspective and has you exploring big environments step by step.

You'll of course encounter many enemies on your journey, engaging a turn-based battle in which you'll use your collected cards to defeat them.
These cards are familiar things like the Whip, Armour, and King Bible, each one detailing what it does and how much mana it costs to play.
Of course, as you go through a run, you'll be able to level up, increase your stats, and upgrade and evolve your cards, making yourself much more powerful as you fight more and deadlier baddies.
It looks like it's going to be as much of a dopamine rush as Vampire Survivors, and we're totally down when it comes to PS5 in 2026.

First I'm hearing of this, but hell yes, day 1 for me. And the Warhammer 40k Survivors-style spin off if that comes to PlayStation consoles at some point too.
Cannot wait to lose all my time to VC!
If people haven’t tried it: Ball x Pit.
Awesome time sink.
It should do a vampire survivors crossover
@AndyKazama It probably will since Ball x Pitt has more content planned for next year. If not, you are right: they should.
@AndyKazama I've been playing that. Like Vampire Survivors I found the first few rounds quite entertaining but it soon become very repetitive and grindy.
